- Stephen (9/5): Nice comfortable farmhouse. - Nice comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Shower lukewarm at best, WiFi a bit slow but not a big problem.
- Sharon (9/5): lovely stay - really lovely friendly welcome, great B&B rooms above the farm cafe - lovely sized room, plug for hair dryer was near the mirror (very unusual it seems nowadays so great to have) tea and coffee welcome, shower had great power, large wardrobe and all we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was lovely, great food and again friendly service. Enjoyed our stay only thing I would say, door to shower was tiny - shower inside was lovely and big but if you were a little on the larger side you wouldn't get into the shower !
- Andrea Gleeson (10/5): Wished I could stayed longer - Breakfast was beautiful. Good quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Lovely people, will definitely recommend Nothing
- Pond and Garden (9/5): - Loved the family atmosphere. The owners couldn't have done more for us. Another room came in at 3am and made a huge amount of noise for 2hrs

- Dean (10/5): -
- Sara-Eden (10/5): Lovely stay for 1 night - It was better than I thought in terms of facilities. The staff were helpful I didn’t realise just how far it was away from everything, but the clues in the title ….. “ farm”
- Tracy (7/5): One night stay - We were emailed joining instructions as we werent arriving until after closing time. This helped immensely. The breakfast was yummy and in a quaint farm cafe.

The staff could not do enough and when we had a minor issue with the room, someone came to sort it out within minutes.
The food for breakfast was delish. Quality was very good and they supported Gluten Free My partner would have liked a bath, but not a serious issue
- Barbara (7/5): Clean and comfortable bead and good breakfast - Good location for our stopover in area Driveway was a bit scruffy
- Val (10/5): Lovely location, accommodation, staff and breakfast - The location, although out of the way it was so peaceful.
The room was a great size.
Excellent size walk in shower.
Fan was provided as it was possibly the hottest day of the year and it did the job.
The tea and coffee was well stocked.
- Nicola (10/5): Nice overnight break from the hustle bustle - Nice quiet location - nice pubs just over a mile away (nice walk along the canal) comfortable bed, good facilities, and amazing breakfast Nothing
- Michael (10/5): - Excellent breakfast and all very good value
- Rachel (10/5): Perfect place for our overnight stay, wish we could have stayed longer - Lovely breakfast, staff arranged an early one as we had to be somewhere at 8.30. Very helpful and friendly
- Deborah (9/5): -
- Irene (9/5): - Lovely room and breakfast , plenty of tea, coffee etc The location is a bit far if you want to have an evening drink without the car
- Tanya (10/5): - I feel I have stumbled across a hidden gem! What makes The Farm stand out for me is the customer service. Nothing was too much trouble, they even rang on my day of arrival to ensure I had all the relevant details needed to enjoy my stay as I was arriving late. It has a real family feel, and breakfast (made by the owners mum) was delicious. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for having us.
- Gini (6/5): Pleasant stay in a rural setting - Clean room, fan in room, comfortable bed, good breakfast in the farm shop below. Very friendly owners who served us breakfast in the morning. It was a bit expensive at £95 for what it was and it was situated in a small village in an out of the way place.
- Derek (9/5): Lovely staff good breakfast. - No table to sit at.
- Peter (8/5): Short stopover. Very pleasant - Clean, nice room, great breakfast Nothing
- Pete (10/5): Would stay again in a heartbeat - Absolutely nothing to criticise. Staff uniformly friendly, wonderful breakfast. Only downside was we were only staying one night. Nothing
- Jan (9/5): Superb -
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous room with a very comfy bed and amazing farm tea room breakfast. Fantastic communication from the hosts too. Absolutely wasn't an issue but maybe a sign on the front door which connects to the rooms.
- Gavin (8/5): Very good -
- James (8/5): Very good - Everything was up to our expectations
- Michael (10/5): Amazing overnight stay - Loved everything about it.
The location, the food, the ambience and the breakfast.
The staff were also really friendly and helpful! Nothing apart from I prefer a firmer mattress
- Elliot (9/5): Superb - Great location, warm hospitality
- Venkatesan (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (9/5): Superb - This is how I imagine a bb should be. Very well appointed rooms and and super clean. Very peaceful location Easy late access to rooms as we were staying after a wedding. Very nice breakfast in farm cafe. Unfortunately WiFi didn't work on our 1 night. So 9 instead of 10.
- N (10/5): Exceptional -
- PATRICIA (10/5): - Lovely rural location a few miles from Burscough & Ormskirk
On a working arable farm where there is also a campsite Tea room & small shop with a few B&B rooms. Very quiet overnight. Excellent breakfast & helpful staff
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Sam (10/5): Lovely stay - The staff were really friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. A really nice place to stay.
- Green (10/5): Great time - Clean, comfortable, and welcoming Breakfast only started at 9 am. over the Easter weekend.
- Lee (8/5): Relaxing and comfortable. We would certainly stay here again. - Breakfast was good, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The 'extras' on arrival (for example, the complementary bottled water and biscuits) were a nice touch. We had no complaints.
- Eric (10/5): Bed, Breakfast and Birds - Very nice room, excellent breakfast and a nice birdwatching walk to go birdwatching at Martin Mere. We will definitely return
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly service with excellent service
- Lesley (8/5): Very good - Delightful location. Delicious breakfast. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The bedroom was comfortable and clean but there were only two coat hangers in the wardrobe which was surprising. Fine otherwise.
- Mary (10/5): The Farm in Buscough is what we needed: quiet and somewhere to relax, a base to make day excursions. - The quietness of the countryside. The room was large. The "full English breakfast" was super great. The bed was so comfortable it was difficult to give it up and start the day. The b&b was close to Ormskirk. The bathroom floor was squeaky; I mean the whole floor squeaks when you walked on it.
- Anthony (8/5): Overnight stay - Excellent breakfast & lunch
Very comfy beds Could do with a deep clean - surface cleaned ok but hairs in bathroom, skirting dusty, shower a little grubby so didn't seem luxury to me
Central heating didn't work but had a plug in heater - table lamp didn't work
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, great value - super friendly family who are warm and welcoming
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Advertised the breakfast as cereals and cooked food. Cereal turned out to be cornflakes and granola, so a poor selection against expectations
- Pollitt (8/5): Beautiful, comfortable room in a peaceful setting. - Beautiful farm with a very comfortable room. The only reason I have downgraded the facilities is because there is no Internet signal once inside and the WiFi was not good. However, apart from that, I really enjoyed my stay here. I would definitely stay here again and just make sure I download something on my laptop and/or kindle.
- Marjorie (10/5): Exceptional - This is our favourite place to stay when visiting family. Our 3rd time back, we will always return here as the staff are lovely, the accommodation is great and breakfast is delicious. Nothing!
- Charles (8/5): Very good -
- Harry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lawrence (9/5): Superb - Clean, lovely. All good.
- Tirayna (10/5): Excellent - Cosy room , helpful and friendly staff accommodating as we arrived later than expected. Breakfast was lovely we would recommend The Farm
- Dave (9/5): Excellent accommodation with amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend. - Ideal location for the purpose of our stay. The only feedback is that the double bed was a little small compared to what we’re used to but appreciate I could have booked a twin.
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (10/5): This place was lovely - It was clean, value for money, lovely staff. Beautiful place , nice and quiet and lovely scenery. Thank you Nothing
- Kenneth (7/5): Fine - Breakfast was good, location could do with bit more lighting outside
- Alex (9/5): Brilliant, family run B&B - Breakfast was really nice and the host was very welcoming and friendly.
- Dave (10/5): Superb b and b - Me and my wife loved everything about our stay, The Bedroom was very clean, the breakfast was out of this world and we where going to stay somewhere else in December but we've changed our plans and are going to stay there again There isn't anything we didn't like
- Lorna (5/5): Basic room with no frills and a little over priced for what it is. - The location to the venue we were going to was great and that is why we picked it. Breakfast the following morning was good and we had a choice of about 6 things. All fresh produce, took a while (35 minutes) but nice when arrived. Cereal, juice fruit and yoghurt were available if we wanted them. There was no difference in charge for the full breakfast or just a sandwich. The room was very small, especially the bed and in need of an update. Bathroom was again small with no window. The door into the room let the light from the corridor come through right around it! noise from other guests getting dropped off then again in the morning, they had there tv on from 6am and could hear that and them talking. The towels in the room where well worn and scratched so we forwent having a shower the following morning. For the price of £95 I would have expected a nice room with white fluffy towels.....
- Michael (9/5): Lovely. -
- Dean (9/5): Superb -
- Andrea (10/5): The Farm - Everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff were so lovely. Food was amazing and the room was beautiful. Will definitely visit again
- Keith (9/5): stay after a family party - lovely room and very quiet at night. very helpfull staff with directions and a lovely breakfast 😋 nothing
- Marion (8/5): Very good -
- Dave (10/5): Excellent b&b - Lovely bedroom and bathroom in a very quiet location - farm café provided an excellent cooked breakfast. The Farmer's Arms is just a few minutes drive away for an excellent evening meal. Nothing
- Adrian (6/5): Easy to drive past down a lane looks industrial - Arrived late, so reception left a bit to be desired, if you don’t want to cart suitcases up stairs then not the best, the room and amenities were good, shower could do with a power boost, delightful breakfast
- Emily (8/5): - Not much ambiance
- Ian (10/5): A cosy little farm house stay! - Amazing little venue, really clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast was amazing and full of local produce
- Gibbons (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (8/5): Was a bit out in the sticks, ok for 1 night - Good quality breakfast Could hear noise from fridges below
