• Leung Fai (8/5): 感謝酒店的體貼服務 - 我們check in 那天正下大雨，全身濕透，酒店給我們提早check in, 12:00 取房，當日全日大雨，我們只好留在酒店浸溫泉，第二日早上雨小了點，我們便匆匆辨理退房，繼續昨天延誤的行程，怎料走到公車站，等了很久都沒有公車來，唯有折返酒店，回到酒店後才知道當日所有公車因天氣惡劣關係停了，計程車也沒有。酒店非常好，容許我們再上房延遲退房時間至中午12時，可是不知交通什麼時候才可恢復。後來我們在網上見到有一個車站剛恢復運作，但我們由酒店去那個車站的交通還未恢復，酒店職員非常好，知道後，提供免費一程車給我們由酒店去恢復服務的公車站。在此我們表達對酒店的謝意。首先，第一天讓我們提早check-in，第二天讓我們折返房間及延遲退房時間。最重要一點是提供免費車，送我們到最近剛恢復運作的車站，不然我們真的不知道在酒店大堂要等到何時才可以返回新宿。在此再一次感謝酒店體貼的服務。

No view from anywhere within hotel 3. Meal service was just a bit off, like steak was on fry pan, not even a possibility of egg for breakfast even if you order, no tea for supper, etc.

• yusuke (8/5): - 食事も温泉も良かったです。スタッフさんの感じも対応も満足です。 ただ、小学低学年の子供達の食事メニューが大人と全て一緒、2階の喫煙所が極寒、温泉の男湯と女湯の入替なしの所は少し残念だったかなと思います。 それでも食事は美味しかったし、お風呂も適温で凄く寛げたのでまた機会があったらお世話になりたいと思います。

• SAUGAT (6/5): - Should have kids menu or kids food. There was no kid foods even though it was written kids friendly environment. The staffs were not friendly(on dining hall) as expected when it is compared with Japanese hospitality level. Other than this, all were super smooth.

Apesar de um pouco distante dos onsen mais famosos em Hakone, este hotel tem o próprio onsen incluso ns estadia e não deixa nada a desejar. O quarto é muito bonito e limpo e o café da manhã foi o melhor que ja tomei em toda minha estadia no Japão!

• CHIZUKO (4/5): 温泉だけなら - 前泊者のゴミや使用済みのものが残っていた。指摘するとこちらの勘違いではないかと疑う始末。温泉の脱衣場の自販機は空。ゴミは溢れている状態。温泉自体は良かったが、部屋も脱衣場も掃除とメンテナンスが行き届いてない。
• Biao (10/5): Very good onsen with tranquil surroundings - This is an authentic onsen experience, don't expect western style rooms and amenities. They don't have private shower or bath in the rooms, only a toilet and basin. And futon bed means sleeping on the floor. Onsen is a public bath, same sex bathing together naked. So don't be shocked. The rooms are very clean, has amazing forrest view from the large balcony, freshest air! Breakfast was amazing, many options and good quality! Only one receptionist spoke broken English, as this place isn't known to foreigners, guests are all Japanese. The elevator and carpets are old, other than that it's a great stay. Recommended
• Sandra (6/5): - I didn't enjoy sleeping on the floor...maybe if the mattress were thicker it wouldn't have been so bad.

We then asked the front desk if there was any food available and they explained the kitchen was for students only and we could only order food from a restaurant in town and they would deliver to the hotel as it is in a remote location not walking distance to anything. We call the restaurant and they explain they do not deliver. The front desk just shrugged their shoulders. We were then told we could not use the shared showers (only showers available at the hotel) until 9:40pm or later until the students were finished. Apart from this not being advertised as staying in a working high school on Expedia there are photos of many many facilities which they advertise but you are unable to use. You are confined to your room or a strict path to and from your room as to not disturb the students (whom are yelling and running around) the whole place is not as advertised or listed be careful. We did not stay and moved to another near by hotel with accessible basic facilities like a shower.

• King Lok (8/5): Secluded but nice and comfortable stay. - The outdoor onsen is good and mostly unused so you can probably have it all to yourself. There are two indoor ones in the same room. Location is very isolated so expect a lot of traveling fees. Breakfast is phenomenal and worth the price. Overall good if you want to be as secluded as possible.

• eymwonder (8/5): Nice place to relax - Although it dates from earlier times, this hotel is well maintained. Service is good, and staff go out of their way to cater to your needs. Parking is free if you drive. There is not much to eat around here but you can either drive down to the lakeshore, or go up the hill to Sengokuhara, where there are eateries. Ask for recommendations from the hotel staff.

The set dinner is not so nice, as it is not served in the room. The guests seem more in the 65+ years category Very limited english skills of the staff
• 711ayat (6/5): Reasonable price but some inconvinience - I stayed with my family(7 of us) for one night. The building is a bit old but inside is well-maintained. The reasonable price is the biggest reason we picked this hotel. However, we feel their hot spring hours are shorter than average and the checkout time is 10am. Isn't this a bit too early??? The food is good. The breakfast buffet has both traditional Japanese and western dishes. It's close to the lake and some attractions in Hakone. We didn't explore but there are a few hiking and biking trails. You can rent a bike at the hotel.
• Mirza64 (10/5): Hotel with Japanese Traditional Touch - Transit in this hotel after visiting the famous Mount Fuji. Located at Kanagawa prefecture not far away from Askinoko lake , It's a quite and good hotel where you can have Japanese traditional life experience. the room are spacious with traditional Japanese touch, you can try wear yukata that already provided and try "Onsen" traditional Japanese bathhouse. The services and food are great and awesome. Nice to stay in this hotel.

Bath water flowing directly from the hot spring source. Since there is no washing place in open-air bath there must be careful. The But no place to shop around, There is a set of vending machines and tea in the hotel. Room is narrow and it more than three people.
