• Diamante (8/5): Buena relación calidad precio y muy buena ubicación - ubicación excelente, hemos hecho andando todas las visitas que teníamos planteadas (Born, Palau de la Música, Moco), personal muy amable, pudimos dejar las maletas todo el día que nos íbamos. Habitación correcta, camas y ducha confortables. El tamaño de la habitación. Me parece terrible que ahora la única opción de pagar un precio razonable en una ciudad como Barcelona sea en un alojamiento pequeño, los hoteles ya están fuera del alcance de un porcentaje enorme de la población.

• Chloe (9/5): - Everything you need at an affordable price. Brilliant location and relatively quiet considering how central the property is. Clean and felt very safe. Reception were lovely and let us leave our bag, there is no luggage store room but we were happy to leave our bag as reception is on the 4th floor behind a locked door only accessible by keycard/staff letting you in. There are plenty of storage locker shops around that you can rent if you prefer. Would absolutely stay again.

Helppokäyttöinen ilmalämpöpumppu ja vedenkeitin, sekä tallelokero helpottivat arkea. Hotellissa on sisätilojen välillä hyvin huono äänieristys. Onneksi muut asiakkaat olivat hiljaisia ja tahdikkaita.

• Lynda (8/5): A basic but very clean room in an excellent location - Excellent location on the border of Born and Eixample right. Not far from Gothic quarter. Lovely Old building with wooden shutters on the balcony and a marble staircase. There is a lift to the fourth floor. Close to restaurants. Banfield cafe, Exotica brunch and Trafalgar pizza were all good. Hotel was Fairly quiet. Very clean. Helpful reception staff. Lovely en-suite shower. Clean towels every day. Comfortable bed and pillows. A safe in the room. We loved the little balcony with two chairs, tree and rooftops view. Free street map provided. They stored our bags after check out time. Reception closes at 11pm which could be a problem if you check in later than this. It also means there are no staff to prevent noise in the hotel after 11pm. Some noise from other guests coming in at 5am and being very noisy for about an hour. Street noise also in the early morning - like refuse trucks. The room is basic with no facilities for tea and coffee . No communal areas. A kettle can be borrowed from reception but I don’t know about mugs. Coffee is available in reception in the morning but no milk or other drinks.
• Davide (7/5): - Location is good and the staff was very nice and helpful. Facilities are quite basic. I was in one of the inward-looking single rooms, which was very basic. No little tables, no small armchair/chair. Literally just a basic type of single bed like ones you'd expect in a hostel, a very small cabinet and the little bathroom. And the structure doesn't have any common spaces as there's no lobby. It's ok for short stays but I wouldn't rate it as the most comfy place I've been.

• Francesca (5/5): Esta vez me sabe muy mal pero no puedo emitir valoraciones positivas. - No era la primera vez que veniamos al Som Nit Triomf pero esta vez no estuvimos tan cómodos. Éramos 4 personas y la habitación era demaisado pequeña, dos camas en un rincón juntas que no se podia ni pasar entre cama y cama , además una de las camas hacía ruido lo que molestaba a las demás personas. Y el WC demasiado pequeño para 4 personas. Habitación demasiado pequeña para 4 personas, Para aprovechar meten demasiadas camas y yo lo puedo entender pero no hasta el punto que la estancia no resulte agradable para que los clientes. Una pena.

The staff was very good, they greeted me with a smile and had sorted out the invoice for my departure. My room was on the 1st floor but the reception was on the 4th floor. The elevator was quite small so checking out was annoying.

• Aneta (9/5): Great room in the heart of Barcelona - We had a very nice stay overall. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made check-in and our stay easy. The room was clean and well kept, and although it was very basic with no real amenities, it had everything we needed for a short visit. Having a private bathroom was a big plus. The hostel is set in a lovely historical building, which added a lot of character, and the location is excellent for exploring Barcelona on foot or by public transport. Overall, it’s very good value for money — not fancy, but comfortable, convenient, clean and ideal if you’re planning to spend most of your time out and about. The room also had a lovely balcony with table and chairs so in the summer it would be great to have a coffee in the morning. The room was cleaned every day and clean towels every day, very comfortable bed No amenities such as kettle plates glasses etc but staff offered to supply kettle and iron so still not a drama

The cleaning was done every day. Everyone at the reception was friendly and helpful. The bad reviews are from haters :)) For us, everything was beautiful, and this accommodation will definitely be our first choice when staying in Barcelona again. Thank you!
