• Sirshen (10/5): A great stay in the centre of Ankara - Not sure why this hotel is only 3 stars. I would rate it at least 4 stars. It was a very good stay in central Ankara, close to transport and major city centre attractions. Staff were very friendly even though they spoke very limited English and the breakfast spread was a welcome surprise - something for everyone really! The room was full featured with everything working, and great Grohe tap and showerware to ensure a comfortable experience. I'd stay there again without thinking twice! Can't think of anything.
• Veljko (5/5): Tired hotel - Location and bathroom. We were very dissapointed with this hotel as it looks very tired. Facilities are old, walls are dirty and rooms are small. Not comfortable at all. Elevator can take max 3 people or only one with laguage. Breakfast didn't have lot of options. In the room, there is no coffee and no small shampoos like in official photoes. So, don't be fooled by professional photoes posted on sites, as reallity is totally different.

• Esra'a (7/5): Mediocre, would go back for the strategic location and rate only - The room was clean, it was VERY close to the city center on foot, housekeeping came by everyday, the roome service prices were reasonable, the SPA was clean, very close to bus stations and metro stations as well. The breakfast was terrible, always the same items, it didn't taste good, was too oily, there was no fresh coffee only instant coffee and creamer, the tea tasted bad, the staff didn't speak English or Arabic, it was so hard to communicate, the triple room was toooo small for 3 people, they charged me more than I used in the minibar but I couldn't communicate that I didn't use them so I just paid.

• Vitalii (6/5): Good place near the city center, if you are not smoking - 1. Perfect location. Metro station is a 5-minute walk, and there are many restaurants around, shopping centers, bus to the airport. 2. You always can park your car even if there is no parking place. The staff will help you with this. 3. The modern system of access to the room. 4. Room service, and cleanness if you need. 5. Despite the fact there was cold on the street (-5C), it was warm in the room. 6. The breakfast was included. 1. Extremely smoky entire hotel. We thought to ask them to change the room but realized that it was useless because all the rooms were smoky. I don't know what happened with the ventilation system in the hotel. 2. There is an SPA + hammam, sauna, steam bath. The hotel declared only SPA is gonna be charged additionally, however, all services need to be paid. The steam bath was not working when we visited the hammam. The sauna was too cold (in our point of view). Besides, when you get out of the hammam and go to the sauna you should go through the SPA reception, which was really uncomfortable. The changing room had a broken shower and old furniture. Only 1 hour is available for using SPA. The hammam was cold as well. They are charging for this service, but we didn't understand what exactly for. To be able to water yourself from the pelvis (?) 3. Our room for 3 people was small, not so much space in the wardrobe, the TV remote control was not working 4. We stayed for 5 days, the breakfast was every day the same and Instant coffee only. 5. Looks like only the reception and park man speak English. SPA totally does not.

The location was really good just 3/4 min walk from Kizilay centre The first instance the very bad smell of smoke from room and the beddings, towels and even the curtains. Starton Hotel had the pillows washed for me as smelt if Body Odour, which was appreciated The AC system was an automatic which was controlled by management which was blowing hot air, slept with window open but was granted a fan after the air con was kept at 26 degrees and could not be adjusted. Even after having window open all day, i thought id got rid of the smell only to return home with all my clothes reaking of smoke smell.

• Ali (1/5): I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SO BAD HOTEL TO ANYONE - Nothing Everything was totally rubbish. The internet was so awful. I had to rent a room first where was no internet, no A/C and the TV doesn’t work. I was offered an alternative room and it was the same horrible situation. The staff were greedy, they made me feel like my money was theirs. They weren’t even friendly. What you see if their hotel on booking.com don’t believe it in reality. When I checked out I had to pay them extra £30 despite my booking was paid in advance.

Unfortunately had a very uncomfortable sleepless night, the aircon didn’t work well and the pillows weren’t hotel standard.

• Helen (8/5): Very good - The hotel was pretty quiet, the shower in my room was excellent and the staff were lovely and very, very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. For example, on the last day I had to check out before breakfast had started but the man on reception said I could go up and have breakfast anyway. The walls between the rooms were very thin.

The photos are not true representations of the room, as they make the rooms appear cleaner, brighter, and roomier than they are in person. There is a dingy, "rode hard, put up wet" feel to the place. It feels like a Super 8 or Motel 6 in anywhere, America.
• Ali Mohammed (8/5): - I had a fantastic experience staying at your hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean and the location was amazing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I definitely plan on returning in the future. One suggestion I have is that you work on improving the WiFi signal inside the rooms. During our stay, we encountered some difficulty connecting to the WiFi network on the floor where our room was located. However, the signal was strong in the lobby, so we were able to check our emails there every day. Aside from that, I would highly recommend your hotel to all of my friends. Best wishes.

• Alexander (8/5): Good budget hotel in the center - The Hotel was surprisingly good for one night stay, as it had been booked at last minute in favor of the convenience of the location. Staff members are polite and willing to help. My room was clean and was prepared for my arrival. The bed and beddings was nice. The only slight downside is that they do not provide lunchboxes in case of early check-out, so I missed the breakfast here which was included in the price.

• Gerhard (10/5): Hidden Gem - All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. No request to big. Always greeted with a smile. Check in was smooth and fast including when I had to extend my stay by a week. Very competitively priced for the area. Room was a good size for me as a solo traveller with a very comfortable bed. The room is nice and quiet with not a lot of external noise. Restaurant has good food at very good prices. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the hotel. Should I need to return to Ankara, Starton Hotel would be my first choice for accommodation.

• nasir (6/5): - I have reservations for two rooms. One family room with queen and one twin.also a swuit. Instead I got two double rooms. We were five people. They gave us two double rooms and a portable bed .We can hardly move in the room.we didn't got what we reserved.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel - This is a good and well located hotel. It was clean, pretty good breakfast. I have to say the staff was half and half, cleaning ladies and the bellman were fantastic and helpful, the front desk staff not so much and would not try to speak any English to make it easier for the turists or anyone traveling for business. They also have a good spa, helpful attendants specially an Ethiopian lady who was wonderful.
