- Eugene (9/5): Excellent hotel, very nice breakfast is served. Great location. - The hotel is in a private residence that was once part of the Manzana Jesuítica (the Jesuit Block around the Church of the Society of Jesus and other historic buildings.
The house was built in 1640! And it is full of antiques.
It’s in an excellent location with many walking streets, restaurants and shops all around. The bathroom could be updated—the toilet flushing mechanism fell off and it should be replaced.
- guillaume (8/5): Night in the museum - The surprise when i arrived stay in a museum
Breakfast was lovely. Room in entrance of hotel window on the street with nose from guest and people in the streets.
Pillow was not in standard.
- Derrick (8/5): -
- Alexander (10/5): -
- chris (9/5): - Location staff and accomadations .however parking was expensive Parking
- kevin (10/5): Unique wonderful boutique hotel - Super unusual boutique hotel in a good area in the historical city and a 10 minute walk to the new area. The hotel is from the 17th century and still has a lot of interesting historical information that the staff will share. The antiques and decoration are one of a kind. Breakfast was good and the staff really go out of their way. Highly recommend.
- Helen (10/5): Historical visit to Cordoba - This hotel is set in part of an original Jesuit building that has been beautifully renovated. The host gives tours each evening, sharing the history and including the cellar and underground passage. It was spectacular, a real hidden gem. Breakfast was fantastic, with a good selection of offerings. The host and staff were so accommodating and helpful Absolutely nothing!
Preciosa.
- Nigel (3/5): Not what I would expect from a boutique hotel. - The staff were nice and friendly, the location was good. The hotel was difficult to find as it is completely unmarked. The hotel needs to decide whether it wants to be a hotel or a junk shop. The hotel is cluttered up with old (for want of a better description) junk to the extent one had to walk on eggshells as one was always afraid of breaking something. There is no elevator at all which means you have to carry your own suitcase to all rooms above the ground floor. Everytime you wanted to enter the hotel you had to ring a buzzer for a staff member to let us in. No key was provided. The rooms were very dark and the few electrical points were unreliable and dangerous.

- Margaret (10/5): Top - Heel bijzonder, dit moet jezelf ervaren Niets
- Rosemarie (10/5): A fascinating place to stay. - Wonderful atmosphere one felt as though one had stepped back in time. The bathroom shower curtain needs a good wash. The housekeeping could be better. The bed sheets and duvet cover could be better quality they felt grubby.
- Mariano (10/5): -
- MANUEL (8/5): -
- Sandra (10/5): The hotel stay was like sleeping in a museum. - It was so beautiful! I felt transported back in time. The location was most convenient, yet quiet. Absolutely nothing
- Michele (10/5): Most pleasant! - Fantastic location. Outstanding attention from the staff. Amazing set up!
- Jeremy (8/5): Lovely stay in an historic building - Wonderful old building with a lot of history. We were given a lovely little tour of the building. Breakfast was nice.
- Paul (10/5): If I return I would stay again - Nothing not to like, beautiful building, oozing history and antiques, with beautiful backstory of love, great location with insulation from the hurly burly outside, kind, friendly and very attentive staff
- Mir (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Full of history and treasure, perfect place to explore Cordoba. - This is a treasure trove of a property, full of history and character. We loved learning about it and it was perfectly located for a stay in Cordoba.
- Stefanie (10/5): Exceptional - Virrienato is close to many great shops, restaurants, and beautiful churches.
- Thomas (10/5): Perfect introduction to cordoba - This hotel wax a spectacular find …. Lots of history, central location, fabulous antiques and the loveliest of staff. Nothing
- Ann (9/5): A type of hotel one will remember due to its uniqueness. - Charming hotel. Very historic but quirky and unusual. Augustina was such a help to us. Excellent location. Liked it all.
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional - History
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place, wonderful staff. So knowledgeable and friendly. Can't rate our experience highly enough.
- Zoran (9/5): Superb -
- Celeste (8/5): A must stay at least once - 16th century, great hosts very hospitable. Offered scrambled eggs. Steps because of a bad ankle
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - We were transported to the 16th century! Location was great. Augustina went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional! I plan on coming back!
- Ricardo (8/5): Very good -
- Catherine (10/5): A great find in a great city. - Completely unique - interesting old furniture. Large room. Having breakfast sitting at a table that was hundreds of years old.
Really well located- could walk to everything Nothing to dislike
- Walter (4/5): Too pricy for what you get. - It was as described in the pictures and in a great centric area. The girls were very nice and attentive. I booked this hotel because we wanted to stay in a good centric area and because all the other hotels in the area were literally taken. I looked at the pictures and it look great; however this is what we noticed on our 2 day stay. We had several issues like a broken trash can , a shower that did not drain the water properly building up to our toes, a sink that leak and floated the whole floor. None of these issues were addressed while we were there. For example, when we brought up the leak of the sink causing a lake in the bathroom floor, they just put a taper ware underneath the sink and mopped the floor. On top of that we received a text message telling us to text if we wanted to change our breakfast time, we did and never got a response (to my 2 messages) until one our later we decided to go down and have breakfast anyway and they give us breakfast right away and told us that our chat was archived by mistake and that was why we never got a response. Considering that the hotel doesn’t have more than 4 to 6 rooms this seems like their attention to detail must improve. We were right above the doorbell and every time it ring was waking us (very loud). There was no elevator and we had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor. Relationship price/service, extremely expensive for what we got.
- Patricia (10/5): Amazing heritage hotel in the heart of Cordoba - An amazing heritage place to stay. The whole hotel was like a living museum, but very comfortable and welcoming.
Staff were brilliant, and the tour of the building a must
In a great location
- Seiko (3/5): Poor - - Shower head beed to be replaced. Water scatters every direction.
- Too many nick nacks which had no use for them, just taking up the space to place my own items.
- I could not sleep at all due to whatever it was developed hives and ichi all over my body. I had to ask to change bedding completely on 3rd day. - location
- staff, they were very accommodating, helpful & kind.
- The place had lots of museum piece quality items & staff gave us a tour.
- Mark (9/5): The location and the great furnishings make this a good choice - The location and the very nice furnishings make this a good choice. Breakfast was extremely weak. The first day stale croissants and fresh fruit. Second day only stale croissants, no fruit. When we arrived at the designated checkin time room was not ready, they allowed us to leave our luggage and we returned a few hours later.
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional - History, friendly and decoration
- Vicki (10/5): We enjoyed the unique experience of the hotel! - The artifacts in the hotel were so interesting. The staff was absolutely amazing, friendly and accommodating! We were able to sit in various locations in the hotel, to read and converse, which was very pleasant. The history of the surrounding area is interesting and the area is walkable. Honestly, there is nothing that the hotel could do to improve. Everything exceeded our expectation.
- David (10/5): A unique experience that matches the beauty and historical qualities of the Jesuit Quarter. - The staff were incredibly attentive, pleasant, and happy to assist with booking a taxi and dinner recommendations. Also their knowledge of the building, its history, and the antiques that fill its halls was a pleasant addition to their great service. If you are looking for a place to stay that surpasses the ordinary, and is filled with pieces of true history, stay here. You will not be disappointed! I couldn't find anything that would warrant a poor review. Everything was perfect. Staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful as well as accommodating to my early departure by setting up an early breakfast.
- Nicole (10/5): Great historical place to stay in the heart of Cordoba - Great location, in the middle of the old city center and full of history. You can see that it is well loved and the staff was absolutely fantastic. Our flight got canceled short notice and they were really helpful. The décor might not be everyone’s kind of tea but we found it charming for a few nights. Communication with some of the staff was a bit tricky, as they only spoke Spanish. So we missed that it was possible to order different items for breakfast, as no one told us.:-( but that was partially our fault.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stan (10/5): Exceptional - This place is delightful. It’s not a hotel so don’t expect hotel style facilities. It’s like a really upscale home stay.Pay the extra and get a suite. The cheaper room on the ground floor is ok, but the first floor rooms are far better. Ask the staff for the tour of the cellars.
- Adrian (10/5): Like nowhere you will have stayed before. - This hotel is like a jewel. Go on their website or look at reviews on YouTube and it’s as good as it looks. Staying here is like being in a museum of interesting artefacts. The room was large and very comfortable and surprisingly peaceful for somewhere so centrally located. The staff are very accommodating and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. If you want to stay somewhere special, even for a couple of nights, don’t hesitate to book.
- Lee (10/5): Very nice boutique hotel with an excellent location - Parking was on the street outside the hotel, but easily accessible. The hotel was less than a block from the very nice central square with an outdoor market, and numerous restaurants. The square and side streets had many shops for those interested. The various bodegas (vineyards) were an easy drive from the hotel.
The small hotel was centered around a nice interior courtyard, to which many of the rooms overlooked. The rooms were very nice, with excellent beds and adequate space to spread out.
Breakfast were very nice, with the usual offerings and included eggs if desired.
- Travelglows (8/5): One of a kind experience - Service: very friendly and helpful
Rooms: unique with all its art
Cleanliness: good
Breakfast: fine
Location: central
Price: a bit overpriced
Wifi: could be slightly better
I honestly can say that this was an unique experience. A lot of art and with a lot I mean a lot. It felt like we were sleeping in a museum instead of a hotel. We had a small tour in the hotel so that was fun as well. So much history in one place. Very central location. The ladies that helped us during our stay were very friendly. They helped us with cash and car stuff. A cool place for a night or two!
- Christopher (10/5): fantastic time and staff who went out of their way to help - unique hotel and excellent people working there ground floor room was a little noisy but expected with the location
- Susan (9/5): Very cool vibe. I would stay again but request a room off the Main Street. - The hotel was in the center of town with easy access to sights, bars and restaurants. Unfortunately there was a lot of street noise. Street noise.
- Afina (9/5): Superb - You sleep in the museum! Everything had a sign of a time...
Very good bed, great breakfast!
- Nagla (9/5): delightful - Conveniently located in the UNISCO protected historical area this four rooms boutique hotel takes you back in time. A historical building with antique furniture is more a home than a hotel. Excellent housekeeping by Celeste and more than excellent care , advise and organization by Agustina.
- Vivian (10/5): wonderful - Everything - location, wonderful staff, accommodations, breakfast. Nothing
- Stephen (9/5): We loved this property. Interesting antiques. Great Location. - Location, lovely antique furniture, super little restaurant next door Nothing
