Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns das sehr komfortable Zimmer – wir haben sogar spontan und kostenlos ein Upgrade erhalten, was wir wirklich sehr zu schätzen wussten. Die Einrichtung war modern und geschmackvoll, man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt. Auch der Kontakt vor Ort war sehr angenehm: Eine Person aus dem Team war ausgesprochen höflich, freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich bereichert hat. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls ein Highlight – sehr lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die Lage ist einfach top: Alles ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, was den Aufenthalt besonders unkompliziert gemacht hat. - Kees (9/5): Mooie kamer op paar meter van het strand met hele plezierige host - Hele mooie kamer. Hele vriendelijke host en prima ontbijt. Op paar meter van het strand. Kamer is voorzien van badlakens voor het strand. Hele vriendelijke gastvrouw die kijkt wat ze voor je kan doen. Wij hebben gevraagd of we eerder in de kamer konden en omdat de kamer leeg was, was dit geen probleem. Makkelijk communiceren via Whattsapp Helaas zijn er in het gebied waterrestrcities en dat geeft wat ongemakkelijkheden. Hier kan de B&B niets aan doen

- Martin (8/5): - Das GuestHouse hat ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zimmer war wie beschrieben. Man ist fix am Strand und das nette Personal hilft. Neben der Unterkunft ist die Unterführung in die City und man ist deshalb auch fix da. Wer etwas skurriles erleben will, läuft in 15 Minuten zur The Kaaimans Grotto. Rechts die Straße runder, dann auf den ehemaligen Gleisen weiter und nach einem schönen Spaziergang ist man da. Unreal! Bewohner sind sehr nett. Das Frühstück könnte um einen Obstsalat erweitert werden.

Great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. They provided useful information on current water restrictions due to the ongoing drought. I could not figure out how to switch the fan on but other than that everything was perfect.

Das Zimmer war superschön hergerichtet, direkt zum Wohlfühlen. Bett megabequem. Auch ein Kühlschrank vorhanden. In Kürze ist man am Strand oder in der Ortsmitte, perfekte Lage! Wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Die Badtür ist sehr stylish, aber leider hört man durch diese Art von Türen jedes Geräusch. Die Kissen der Loungemöbel sind extrem fleckig.

- Petra (9/5): Sehr gut gelegene Unterkunft - Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, Zimmer geräumig, Innenhof mit Sitzgelegenheit direkt davor. Sehr leckeres reichhaltiges Frühstück. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr günstig gelegen, der Strand ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und durch die Unterführung direkt neben dem Haus gelangt man direkt zu Einkaufs- und Restaurantmöglichkeiten. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

There's a smell in the bedroom, I assume it is the wood. It was difficult to sleep as I am sensitive to smells.

Location is on the other side of the N2 from the city center, closer to the beach, there's a tunnel that goes underneath the N2 to reach center, but might be weird at night.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully arranged, offering the perfect balance of comfort and relaxation. The bed was exceptionally comfortable — large, plush, and truly the best sleep we’ve had since arriving in SA a week ago. It was the kind of bed you sink into and immediately feel at home. Breakfast was another highlight for us. The omelette was delicious — fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. You could taste the care that went into the meal. What truly elevated our stay was the welcoming host, who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Her warm hospitality added a personal touch that made our visit even more memorable.

Breakfast was good and the room had everything we needed. There was some noise from nearby construction and a brief water outage, but overall it was a great stay and definitely recommended for the price.
