• JOEL (6/5): - The room was very clean and tiday. They passed through and cleaned the room, and changed towels daily. One of the things I didn't like was that it was challenging to figure out how to access the entrance to the building especially at night. They need to make it clear to people that you have to pass through the construction site. So, better signage is needed right now. It rained a bit, so it was a bit muddy at one point for us to walk through it.

• Harald (10/5): - Ich war das erste mal in Berlin-Grünau. Der Stadtteil ist um so vieles anders als das zentrale Berlin. Wer mehr den Charakter einer "Kleinstadt" genießen kann, der ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben. Insbesondere deswegen gibt es von mir zum Punkt "Umgebung der Unterkunft" 5 Sterne (auch wenn um das Hotel herum momentan alles Baustelle ist und es temporär teilweise durch Baulärm tagsüber recht laut sein kann ... aber die geht ja irgedwann mal vorüber ... und außerdem kann man ja schnell anderweitig die Umgebung erkunden. Das Hotel scheint neu renoviert zu sein und das ganze Ambiente zwar ein wenig einfach, dafür aber sehr neu, sauber und sehr angenehm. Ich komme bestimmt dorthin zurück.

• Jürgen (8/5): - Einfaches Hotel, für Kurzreisen ohne besonderen Anspruch geeignet, Preis/Leistung ok. Eine Baustelle um das gesamte Hotel herum macht die Anfahrt mit dem Auto fast unmöglich, man muss durch die Baustelle fahren, die Straße ist praktisch aufgelöst, ist so nicht zumutbar. Dadurch ist auch die Umgebung sehr schmutzig und dunkel, für allein reisende Frauen nach meiner Ansicht nicht geeignet.

• Gudrun (9/5): - All really very good, I stayed for the 3rd or 4th time…. Very nice room size, nice kitchenette with a real fridge, very convenient for stays for a few days, large desk, good bathroom, nice staff. Supermarkets nearby and close to the S Grünau and Tram, and it’sfairly easy to reach the ferry to Wendenschloss. Enjoyable evening stroll possible through the historically and architecturally interesting Tuschkastensiedlung. Currently some construction nearby, but it didn’t bother me and no noise during the evenings at all. Just a suggestion, it‘d be nice if in the long run there could be a space outside for guests to gather in the evening, instead of the current place of choice on the stairs in front of the entrances. All great, will come again in the future.

Radfahren , Schwimmen etc in der Umgebung möglich
• Verified traveler (4/5): Miserables Hotel - umringt von Großbaustelle - Die Reinigung der Zimmer war nicht gut. Der Boden blieb dreckig, musste nach weiterem Toipapier bitten, die Duschkabine und die Ecken im Bad verkalkt und dreckig. Ein Rauchmelder hat tagelang Signal gegeben. Das muss doch jemanden aufgefallen sein..?!? Im Bad ging die Deckenlampe nicht ganz aus…. Beim Licht ausmachen brannte sie gesummt im Dauerlauf. Das Hotel ist komplett umringt von Großbaustelle. Der Weg dahin Abendteuerlich. Um 6:30 wurde jeden morgen der riesige Betonmischer angemacht. Totaler Baustellenlärm und am Ende das Auto eingesaugt durch den ganzen Baustellenfahrzeuge und Schmutz. Zudem kam zu der bestätigten Rechnung von Hotel.com noch die Bettensteuer oben drauf ( versteckte Kosten) für den Preis keine gute Wahl.

Feur mich super. - Czystość, wyposażenie pokoju z aneksem, wygodne łóżka, skomunikowanie z centrum Berlina, bliskość do sklepów, bezpłatny parking, śniadania na miejscu - jako opcja. Bardzo miła obsługa. Dziękujemy. W okolicy hotelu wykańczane są bloki mieszkalne, ale nie stanowi to problemu. Pewnie z jakiś czas to się zakończy. To nie jest hotel do przebywania w nim w ciągu dnia, tylko nocowania. Okolica jest spokojna i ładna. Na dojazd do Berlina kupić trzeba bilet na strefę A i B. Ewentualnie można by porozmawiać z panem z ochrony, aby reagował również na osoby ucinające sobie w nocy pogawędki pod oknami. Nie zmienia to jednak mojej najwyższej oceny tego obiektu.

• Camille (2/5): - WARNING: DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!! Poorly run "hotel" in the middle of a dusty, noisy construction site. The room was dirty on arrival with goopy blue soap leaking in the bathroom sink and shower. Old ratty towels and a dusty floor was what I saw from day one. They never cleaned the room for the entire stay: only changed the sad looking towels and made up the bed with the same dirty linen. I was woken up every night by reversing trucks and construction workers right outside my window in the wee hours of the morning while it was still dark. They give you no heads up that you will be living in the middle of a construction site - notice that all the photos on Expedia are of the interior - THAT'S FOR A REASON. Just ridiculous! Barely any staff around. I noticed any random stranger could walk straight off the dusty road, into the building, right up to your door with no problem as there was no staff or locked doors up until you get to the room. Did not feel secure at all. To add insult to injury, I was charged a random extra tax upon arrival (although the rest of my group was not), and neither Expedia nor the hotel cared that much to do anything about it. If you think it's worth booking for the cheap price, think again! It's just not worth it, believe me. Take my advice and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Probably anywhere else would be better. One of the worst places I ever stayed at.
• Joanne (8/5): Great place to stay to explore Grunau and Köpenick, with easy access to the city centre - Our twin room was clean, spacious and quiet, with loads of wardrobe space, and a walk-in shower with instant hot water. The fridge and microwave were great to have, and there was a reasonable supply of cups, bowls etc, so we could have breakfast before heading out. As many reviewers have said, there is a lot of building work going on around the hotel, making arrival at midnight a little daunting. I remembered reading that Reception was accessed by a path between Lidl and Netto, which came in handy when our taxi from the airport dropped us in Netto's car park. In daylight, yes, there's lots of building work, but the proximity of supermarkets, an S Bahn station and tram line, plus it being easy to get to the river and the 1936 Olympic site (where we were competing) made the hotel a great choice.
• Mckenna (7/5): A good budget option, with easy access to the city itself and also the airport. - My single room was spacious, with plenty of storage, and in a quiet location.The fridge and walk-in shower were much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was quite basic but adequate. The extensive construction work in the area meant that access to the hotel wasn't straightforward and a couple of taxis weren't quite sure of the location. Taxis booked through the hotel came promptly, however, and drove right up to reception. There was no construction noise at any time that I was in the room.

The dust was dragged in to the corridors and rooms, when it rained the outside are was disgustingly, could not wear decent shoes and light clothing got splattered in dust and muck. Also work commences before 7am and the workforce were creating a lot of noise which woke me up . 🔝 See above

They didn’t clean the rooms properly, didn’t change the bed linen, barely changed the towels. Heavy noise and disturbance from workers arriving early morning on the weekend. No staff around to speak to. Really poor show.

• Mandy (10/5): Sehr angenehm und sauber - Ein sehr schönes Hotel, in einer sehr schönen Umgebung mitten in Berlin aber ohne Hektik, das Zentrum kann problemlos mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder dem eigenen Auto erreicht werden. Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal, was als sehr angenehm wahrgenommen wird. Das Hotel Zimmer is großzügig eingerichtet mit geschmackvollen Möbeln, und auch mit einer Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher ( zumindest in meinem Hotelzimmer) aber ich kann mir vorstellen das es Standard ist. Das Bett ist einfach fantastisch, ich habe lange nicht mehr so gut geschlafen wie auf dieser schönen Matratze ❣️ Ich freue mich auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen. Vielen Dank für alles.

• Marián (6/5): Pleasant - we like separate beds we are quite disappointed with the approach, we are the regular customers, coming back on regular bases. due to work issue sometimes, we need to relocate, leave earlier..we inform the hotel in advance..in other places the host/hotel is able to give us the credit for the next week/future, which means next time we book direct and pay minus the nights we didnt stay or at least the amount of money paid next time is adjusted. never happened here.

• Ilias (7/5): Overall a great stay - Location next to SBahn approx 25 minutes to Warschauerstr. The room was clean , warm, hairdryer is available. Quiet location , and next to Lidl, Netto and Rewe supermarkets (3 minutes by foot). Very helpful people at the reception. Room cleaning service every second day. Single bed for one person is not that comfortable. There are currently construction works in the area and there is mud on the outside road. There is no noise however! On arrival you have one bottle of water in the room, which I drank but wasn't given another one the next days.

• Jessica (3/5): Too noisy - nothing l Room was not fully up to standard from a cleaning perspective. Dirt on floor and In shower. Bad smell from the drains. Banging doors all night and early construction works noise.
• Kirill (4/5): Disappointing - Location is basically in the middle of the building site. Room cleanliness is barely passable. Kitchenette and the bathroom were gross. Pictures make it look way better than reality.

• Fereshteh (8/5): Friendly staff, but no elevator and noisy construction made the stay less comfortable. - What I liked about the hotel was the friendly and accommodating staff, who were always ready to assist. The hotel itself was generally fine and provided a satisfactory experience. Despite being far from the city center, the service inside the hotel helped to balance out the location drawback. However, there were some challenges during my stay. The lack of an elevator made it difficult to carry my baggage upstairs, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the surrounding alley was under construction, making the area noisy and dirty. This, combined with the distance from the city center, negatively impacted my overall experience.

Close to the airport and very comfortable - Amazing room: comfortable, fully equiped (microwave, small fridge, sink), desktop comfortable for working, very clean, the bed, very comfortable. I arrived late, and tired due to some issues, and the staff was very supportive. The neighbor is under construction, so the area is not "nice" now, but the hotel is perfect for business trips. Close to the airport. Nothing special. Everything OK.

• Rafał (7/5): Raw but pleasant for a short stay in Berlin's suburbs. - Clean, simple, quiet place to stay, equipped with basic kitchen equipment. Close to railway station, convenient connection to Berlin city. Hard to find a parking space.

• Tiffany (9/5): Superb - I enjoyed my stay at Hotel City Green. The room (single) was big, comfortable and well equipped. I appreciated the closeness to supermarkets and Grunau station (less than a five minute walk). City center can be reached by S-bahn within 30 minutes. Would come back, when in Berlin!

The room was very clean and spacious The location is a bit far from center but there is a nearby station (7 minutes walk). Also when we stayed the there were constructions all around. It wasn’t noisy but it was like staying inside construction site
