• Ludmila (7/5): - La habitacion de mujeres es muuuy linda y amplia. La cocina amplia y tiene una terraza hermosa. Excelente ubicacion no habia nadie de recepcion, la limpieza de los baños se hacia una vez al dia lo cual no era suficiente. Faltaban cubiertos en la cocina y se me hizo imposible dormir por los ruidos de la peatonL.

• Olusiji (8/5): A good place and value for money. Staff friendly. - The location is ideal as it's in the middle of town and other amenities. Due to it's location and cafe around, that causes some noise but not too bad.

• Jade (4/5): Pas à l'écoute - J'ai apprécié être au centre de faro c'est très pratique Le monsieur qui s'occupait de l'auberge m'a mis dans un dortoir pour hommes alors que j'avais envoyé plusieurs messages pour lui demander de régler ce problème, il a ignoré mes messages et j'ai dû dormir avec 3 hommes pendant tout mon séjour. C'est inacceptable
• Margot (1/5): - Dans le descriptif de la chambre, au moment de la réservation, la mention « douche » apparaissait. Une fois sur place, nous apprenons que la douche est commune. En fait, il faut aller sur la page de l’établissement pour que la mention « douche commune » apparaisse. Si nous l’avions vu d’entré, nous aurions pas réservé. L’hôte n’a pas voulu reconnaître son erreur et annuler la réservation. Nous avons dû payer de notre poche un autre hôtel. Nous aurions aimé une simple annulation pour pouvoir récupérer notre argent. L’entrée de l’hostel est glauque, on dirait plus un immeuble abandonné qu’autre chose. Et la propreté de la literie (ce que nous avons pu apercevoir en rentrant dans la chambre) laisse à désirer.

• SAITO (2/5): Horrible - Location was good The shower doesn’t have hot water, and when someone else uses water, only a little comes out. The electricity also keeps going off several times while I’m in the shower. And there was a guest who was having trouble because there were no staff members around. There was also a cockroach in the room. That was horrible
• Andía (7/5): Mucho potencial pésimamente gestionado. - La ubicación y el “estilo” de la casa bien Muy desprolija la limpieza, principalmente de los baños, se entiende que muchas veces al bañarse puede caer un poco de agua pero no hay una preocupación de brindar alguna ayuda o implemento para hacer esta situación más llevadera, por ende cada vez que alguien se baña el agua se va acumulando en el suelo, es bastante desagradable. La casa a pesar de que es bastante bonita y tiene mucho potencial, esta descuidada, se nota que no se le hace una mantención hace mucho tiempo (ya no se ve como en las fotografías). La terraza bonita, pero lo mismo! Descuidada, sucia con basura en los rincones, hay un refrigerador que una pensaría es para helar cosas mientras estas en la terraza, que está descompuesto y con cosas pudriéndose adentro. El sistema de recepción y check out deficiente, tardan en responder, por el chat de booking te dicen una cosa si les hablas por WhatsApp te dicen otra, al ingresar nos encontramos con una señora que al parecer estaba limpiando y con suerte balbuceó un saludo.

• Elisabete Natalia (9/5): Confortável - A localização era espetacular, num centro histórico, perto de todas as comodidades. Os funcionários eram simpáticos. O quarto estava limpo e o colchão era extremamente confortável. Apesar de ser compreensível a situação. O alojamento está em remodelações, sendo que ainda tem algumas coisas a arrumar. Contudo o quarto estava impecável!

• Victoria (8/5): Convenient and comfortable. - Lovely roof top terrace and brilliant location. Helpful staff (via WhatsApp...). I never met any staff during my stay...but everything was fine! Just bring earplugs if you stay here as it can get noisy - just a result of being so central!

• Gębka (8/5): - We stayed in Faroway hostel for 2 days just now in December. We’ve seen some bad opinions but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are nice, maybe not super new but the hostel is currently renovated. The new owner very very friendly and helpful!! Location perfect for exploring the city, close to restaurants, main square etc. Definitely recommend for this price!

Not insonorisated.you can listen noise from outside..the heating for warming room is very small. Very complex the lock system for the three doors..with 3 codes and not working every time. The owner is a weird woman who doesn't take care of customers..she just pass by night one time for keeping an eye on you

All lights were off, with no instructions about the place other then how to get in to building. To spooked so didn’t stay. Room was not like pictured at all

• Sabrina (6/5): Cheap and not so cheerful with lots of potential! - The rooms are very spacious, there's a kitchen and upstairs patio area which is really nice. I also enjoyed the key code system. No hassle getting in and out This hostel has seen better days. There's a cleaner that comes everyday but the floors under the bed are not cleaned and when you walk in the door it smells of a bad drainage system, there's also a random shopping trolley with loads of junk as you walk in, so yeah you get the picture. It's just very abandoned and in need of some love haha.... I think the owner gave up a long time ago. But it's great if you're low on budget and not fussy. If you're gonna complain just book somewhere else for a few euros more...

• Shah Fahad (9/5): Excellent!!! - The location is superb. Close to the bus station. That's helped me to get the bus station early in the morning. it takes only. 5 minutes of walking. From the balcony you will see the busy street. Everything is just in walking distance. There is a rooftop where you can chill with your friends. At this price staying one night was worth it. I couldn't expect much more than that. Outside was a bit crowdy which can have problem in sleeping. Shared bathroom was clean enough.

ALLEZ AILLEURS - Note générale 1 , c'est juste pour l'emplacement, bien que la fenêtre de la chambre donne sur une rue piétonne très passante et extrêmement bruyante la nuit jusqu'à 2 h du matin ... C'est minable ! Fuyez cet établissement ! Accueil ZÉRO, Service ZÉRO. !! Mal entretenu ! La liste est trop longue ...pas de lumière dans mon couloir , j'ai utilisé la lampe torche du téléphone .. c'est pratique ! Les douches ? La lumière s'éteint toutes les 20 secondes il faut faire des grands gestes vers le plafonnier pour que ça se rallume, donc on est dans le noir tout le temps !! Et l'eau est tantôt glacée , tantôt brûlante en alternance .. !!! Quant aux serrures des casiers , elles sont cassées donc rien pour mettre des affaires en sécurité , je me suis fait voler dans mon sac de voyage dans la chambre ! ..La cuisine ? Couverts quasi inexistants , je n'ai jamais trouvé 1 seule cuillère à café , il y a 1 seul frigo de taille moyenne pour tout le monde, les autres frigos sont destinés au "Staff", aberrant , et sans compartiment individuel donc tout est pèle mêle, donc les gens se servent dans vos courses à votre insu.. Quant au panneau affiché dans la cuisine et à l'annonce avec photo sur Booking qui dit " café et petit déjeuner offert , servez vous " les 2 étagères sont totalement vides , pas 1 paquet de café , pas 1 carreau de sucre .. RIEN ! Alors ne mentez pas sur le site et enlevez votre pancarte mensongère ! Pas de serviette de bain pour la douche , et aucun personnel sur place. J'ai dû attendre le 2eme jour pour tomber complètement par hasard sur une dame de ménage et lui demander une serviette pour me laver . Sur les 6 lits du dortoir , 4 avaient une couette et 2 avaient une petite couverture légère, dont mon lit . J'avais froid. Personne à qui m'adresser bien sûr et rien d'autre à disposition dans la chambre .j'ai attrapé froid,obligée de dormir avec un pull !!
• Bearded wanderer (10/5): - Дакладнай адзнакі пакоя, у якім я павінен быў спыніцца, не будзе — таму што, як высветлілася, ён быў толькі для жанчын 🙂 Мне прапанавалі вярнуць грошы, але пасля кароткай размовы з гаспадаром мы знайшлі рашэнне: ён дазволіў мне застацца ў прыватным пакоі за тыя ж грошы, з невялікай умовай (якую я ахвотна прыняў). Хостэл супер. Чыста, утульна, вельмі цёплая атмасфера і прыемныя людзі. Асабліва спадабалася тэраса, дзе я кожную раніцу піў гарбату і слухаў, як прачынаецца горад. Калі вернуся ў гэтыя мясціны, без ваганняў спынюся тут яшчэ раз.

• Liya (7/5): - The property is located in the centre. It's very close to the bus/train station and nearby restaurants and shops. As it's in the centre, it can be a little loud at night. The toilets have sensor lights so it goes off every 20 secs. The hot water in the shower can take a good 5/10 mins to come on and water flow can be affected if the other shower/taps are in use.

• joanb (9/5): Great place to stay. - Stayed here many times. Very convenient city centre location, ideal when you have take the 5am airport bus. I love the 6 single bed female dorm. Clean and quiet. Good kitchen, bathrooms and terrace. The new keypad entrance system is a bit difficult for short people. Bathrooms and kitchen upstairs.

• JIAJIA (1/5): The worst I ever had. - Terrible place, very very old infrastructure. Bugs and dirty sheets. Need to be torn down and reconstructed and decorated. Very bad service. Nobody at reception. I called many times. No answer of the phone. Too noisy to stay. I left asked for free cancellation. And was rejected. Feels like a fraudulent. Not doing business

Per Messenger steht das Personal mit Rat und Tat zur Verfuegung. Keine Stockbetten - grosse Zimmer. Schoene Kueche mit grossem Rooftop. Free Coffee, Free Food Shelf. Top Lage in Faro!!! Kein Kaffeeweisser oder H-Milch zum "Free Coffee".

• Irina (9/5): - No sé por qué tiene algunas review tan malas. Está en pleno centro (cierto que si la habitación da a la calle, hay ruido como hasta 1am), es barato, está súper limpio, las indicaciones fueron dadas a tiempo, tiene una terraza bonita y en la habitación privada, que estaba muy bonita , tienes tu propia cafetera , calentador y café, la cocina estaba limpia, ordenada y con todo lo necesario. Vi los dormitorios y se veían bien. Se nota que ponen esfuerzo en mantener limpio y en tener pequeños detalles. No es lujoso, no, pero tampoco estás pagando por lujo. Es verdad que el edificio es viejo, pero está limpio y se nota el esfuerzo. Por el precio, está absolutamente bien. Me imagino que quizá en temporada alta, si está lleno y los huéspedes no ayudan, quizá es más difícil mantenerlo limpio, pero para mí fue una excelente estadía a un buen precio.

• Mailys (1/5): - Nous sommes arrivés au logement vers 16h00. Nous sommes entrés et avons constaté que la clé de la chambre n'était pas dans la boîte à code. Nous étions donc bloqués à la réception sans pouvoir nous installer. Pas de personnel sur place, nous avons tenté de joindre le personnel par téléphone et par whatsapp ainsi que sur l'application booking sans réponse de leur part. Au bout d'une heure d'attente sur la place avec la fatigue du voyage nous avons décidé de réserver une chambre dans un autre hôtel. Nous avons finalement eu une réponse du personnel dans la soirée, son excuse étant que son téléphone était cassé, ce qui n'explique en rien l'absence de la clé de la chambre. Celui-ci nous a proposé une annulation via le site booking, nous avons constaté que l'annulation était à nos frais.

The pad lock didn’t work I had to bumped the door to have someone open it for me The host saying at 22 pm that I didn’t send any passport - when I was never chased for it Unreasonable excuses no help . I was never treated in this way from a host. The saga continued in the bedroom where all the bed were taken and took extra stress to solve it. The host messaged me so rudely for the day after keeping blaming me and never saying nothing was wrong. Such a bad experience

• Guilherme Bodini (6/5): - Localização. Demora a receber a senha dos quartos. Meu check in seria as 14 hrs, combinamos de nos enviarem o código do Hostel as 15. No final, não tivemos algumas respostas claras e o código do quarto que poderia ter sido enviado desde a 14 horas, falei que poderia ser as 15 horas e fui receber apenas 15:30. Fiquei com mais 3 senhoras a espera na receção.
