• Philippe (6/5): Bom para passar 1 ou 2 dias só. Quarto pequeno e sem muita privacidade. - Fácil de achar, quartos no quintal da casa principal. Cama confortável. banheiro amplo. Café da manhã bem legal. Cidade principal bem bonita. Quarto é pequeno, frio qd você entra. Como está colado ao outro, sem muita privacidade sonora. O carro fica na rua.
• Susan (10/5): Liebevoll eingerichtete Pension - Eine liebevoll gestaltete Pension. Super bequemes Bett! Tolles modernes Badezimmer. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Extrem nette Gastgeber und das Frühstück ist toll. Ideal zur Erkundung der geschichtsträchtigen Stadt Ypern und seiner Umgebung.

• Philippe (9/5): Visite à Bellewaerde - L'accueil, chambre Cosi. Très calme.petit déjeuner super ! Pour les visites sur Bellewaerde c'est top la voiture peut rester sur le parking de l'hôtel la journée (une petite économie de 15 euro). L'arrivée sur place un peu déroutant , on aperçoit une habitation, on ne pense pas a un hôtel , il faut taper a la porte ou sonné .A pars ça rien de négatif

• Feike Groen (8/5): Super location for WWI history buffs. - The breakfast was very good, and the fellowship with the other guests and owner wonderful. It gave of a wonderful opportunity to actually get to know some Belgians as individuals. Be aware that the owners only take cash, that is Euros as payment. This is understandable given the small size of their property and the fees that credit card companies make businesses pay, but it was a surprise to us. Unfortunately, all we have was dollars with us. s

• Jok (9/5): Superb - The host was very nice and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Although the B&B is outside Ypres you're fast in the town and on memorials and museums. Also there's a lot of parking space on the main road. Overall the accommodation made a good impression. On the other hand, you realise that this is not a professional accommodation, which can be positive, but is also noticeable in the handling of the guests.

• Barry (9/5): Great accomodation in quiet convenient location, close to all of the main sights. Thoughtful owners - Great location, for our planned visits, secure parking for our motorcycles. Our host even sourced a compressor and some washers when one of our 60 year old motorcycles required a bit of fettling. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and the breads, and eggs were excellent. We were not expecting the cash only payment. It cleaned out our Euro emergency reserve. Whilst we appreciate the possible cost implications of card machines etc. we could not understand how declining card or bank transfer payment will promote bookings.
• Monique (9/5): If you go to Ieper, this is the place to be!! - The location was perfect. We cycled in 10 min. To the center of Ieper. The room is very Nice, looks new and has an excellent bed. The breakfast was so good. Everything we could ask for was in the table. The hosts were very Nice and helpfull. The warm water was a bit of a problem. But we managed to take a warm shower after a while.

• Annelies (7/5): Good - Hosts were really nice and served an excellent breakfast! Nice and spacy room. Cold shower! The boiler is not sufficient for their comfort and that of the guests. Despite that the owners requested us for the time of our arrival, heating was not turned on in our room, so our arrival in the cold room was not so pleasant. We spent the eve under covers.

• Scott (10/5): Beautiful country home in Rural Belgium - The owners of B&B Laurus were absolutely wonderful people. They were both friendly, and even took the time to print out some info on places they thought I should visit, when they found out I was there to visit historic WW1 sites. The room was perfectly clean, and was very comfortable! I'm a little jealous of the bathroom, as it is nicer than mine at home... : ) It was so nice to wake up with a view of the Belgian countryside. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, bread, eggs... I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Iepers area, and would also recommend it to anyone looking for an idea for a very relaxing vacation. • John (10/5): - This was a lovely place to stay. Laurus and his wife were wonderful people and very accommodating. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast (included with our cost) was delicious and filling. Laurus went out of his way to make us scrambled eggs in the morning. Parking was easy as we had a rental car.
• Verified traveler (10/5): A nice place to stay for a Battlefields trip. - Very nicely decorated room with a very comfy bed. Free parking and very nice breakfast. Tea and coffee making available in the room. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the battlefields area. We did have a little trouble finding the place as our TomTom didn't recognise the house number - but that's probably down to our sat nav! A phone call to the owner sorted the problem.
