The stairs down to our accommodation were very steep.

• Frank (10/5): A delight. We would return in a minute. - Our host was superb. Due to airline changes and a very long drive, we arrived very late. Close to midnight. Apricale is a small village and there was zero activity. Also zero lighting. Also zero signage that you could see. Nonetheless, our hostess waited up for us, was very welcoming, and get us settled in our beautiful, cozy, warm (it was February) accommodations. The breakfast was the best we had in a week of breakfasts in Italy. So wholesome, so delicious, simple yet elegant. Served with calm professionalism. Hosts could keep a little better track of booking.com communications. Because we were so late, I sent multiple updates and never got an assurance that no matter when we arrived we would be welcome. Also, they charged us a 20 euro surcharge for our late arrival. Suppose it was fair payment for them to stay up for us, but changes the value proposition given the price of the room.

• jim (10/5): Wonderful - We stayed here 2 night and wished we could have stayed more what a fantastic accommodation we loved it ,first off it is in a beautiful small village on top of a mountain with some really great restaurants the history of the village is fascinating The room yes the room outstanding ! We loved it first it in a older building but that what makes this so unique you take stone steps down to you room so try not to have a lot of luggage but it is beautiful when you get there lovely room with a great view The couple who run are so nice and breakfast was very good ,if you are looking for a adventure please check this out we will definitely be back loved everything about it

Had some Fun conversation with her and other guests (from Italy) staying at the B&B! She was also very helpful to call a taxi for me to go to the train station! My room was spectacular! Going down the stone stairway you enter to your bedroom! Really enjoyed walking around the quaint little village of Apricale, with the old stone pathways, archways and tunnels! It was fun trying to navigate my way around and getting lost some of the time! When I was out walking looking for a restaurant, I came upon a cute little supermarket with some tasty items for dinner! I had a wonderful time at B&B Da Marta! Thanks! 🤗👍

Colazione con crostatina fatta in casa ottima. Posizione centrale al paese. Ideale per trascorrere del tempo in totale relax.

Gli unici nei sono stati il letto che è un po' scomodo e soprattutto la mancanza del bidet nel bagno.

• Willemine (9/5): Unique accommodation - Apricale is a wonderful place and it was good to stay right in the centre, in a barrel vaulted room, down steep stairs, but with a fantastic view of the valley below. The bedroom and bed were very good and totally quiet. With the unique position, comes the slight negatives, which are fine if you are fit and able! Leave the big suitcase, it is about 10 min walk from the nearest parking, uphill and over cobblestones - a backpack will be better.
