- Carola (3/5): - Hotel was in a convenient location. Room was large and spacious. Breakfast was good as far as hotel breakfasts go. I had made the reservation in my name for my husband and me. My husband arrived at 2 am and I was to arrive the following morning. My husband had the reservation number and confirmation in the Booking.com app. However, since his name was not on the reservation, the front desk person did not allow him to check in. Even after, he went into the app to add his name, he was denied check in. She did not offer him a different room or any help, just said he is not allowed to check in. Luckily, his brother was staying in the same hotel and he took him in. I don't understand what the thinking was. What was he supposed to do? He had the reservation confirmation. After I arrived the next morning, we talked to the manager. Her suggestion was to not use Booking or another third party. She said that this issue would have been resolved had we booked with Marriott directly. It seems like because we booked through a third party we received different treatment. What a terrible experience. We will not stay here again.

- Boromir1234 (10/5): High quality one bedroom suite - We were in a one bedroom suite with our toddler and little dog. I really liked our suite — it was like a pretty good one bedroom apartment. Well-updated, not too cramped, large kitchen. We set up the toddler travel crib in the living room so that we could watch TV in the bedroom after bedtime. An outstanding feature is the large shower with good water pressure. Note, though, that this hotel is next to the freeway, and you could consider whether to ask for a room that will be on the quieter side. There is included breakfast, but it is pretty minimal — scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffles, cereal. The waffle makers were out of service for our stay.
- Metin (8/5): Clean Comfortable Hotel. - The hotel was very clean and everything was comfortable. The location was also good. We reach to freeways easily. The breakfast end at 09.30, which is early to end it. People needs to rush early morning. For vacation purpose it is not very comfortable to wake up early. 10.30 would be is more reasonable. Also, the content of the breakfast was limited. It might be a standard America berakfast. However, it can be improved.

- Virginie (10/5): A great hotel for Silicone Valley stays - We stayed on the ground floor, far from the entrance and it was very quiet. The place is perfect for a family and the kids and us slept so well. It was quiet and we had everything and the ceilings were high. The room was nearly luxurious. The breakfast was quite fine. We will definitely be back there if we need to be in this area ! Nothing about the hotel was a problem for us. We found the guests a little vulgar, but looking very Silicone Valley. The area is not beautiful but it is in the middle of everything. So in fact nothing negative !

- debbie (10/5): As a solo traveler while my husband was in the hospital this hotel was perfect.it was located in a quiet location, away - The warm feeling of the hotel and that the work out room wasn’t put at the end of a hallway, passing rooms to get to it. As a female, that is not a safe placement for a workout spot , it is located by the front and dining area, which is highly traveled and made me feel safe.

Nice breakfast and regularly replenished. 2 bed room, clean but main living is small especially when pull sofa bed out. The sofa bed is not fit for sleeping on, its terrible, just feel the springs no padding, could hear springs with every move. Sofa bed mattress was grim, dirty and all crumbs underneath when tried to turn over. No blanket just 2 sheets and 1 pillow for the sofa bed! Good room for 4 but too not adequate for 6.

The rude and unpleasant lady said Hotels.com is a third party so they don’t guarantee rooms to 3rd party customers. Had to go to the front desk three times to remind them we needed a 2pm check out we had requested prior to the trip and told no problem. We also got locked out of our room twice because they didn’t apply the 2pm checkout time. Frustrating for sure especially with a fussy 10 month old.

The hotel is 20 min from SFO, 30 from the City itself, and about 20-25 min from Palo Alto. San Carlos has a nice downtown with plenty of dining options.

Had to park in the back. And the property across the street had a sign that said no hotel parking, not very friendly.

- Road13527951388 (8/5): A Clever Concept - The rooms are like an apartment, complete with a full kitchen with no stove, two queen beds, and a sofa bed. They include breakfast and work with Uber Eats for other meal deliveries. This, to me, is a clever concept for families.

We were PLEASANTLY surprised that our room was a studio apartment. It was HUGE!!!! Although our in room coffee pot was missing the carafe and the room only had decaf coffee. But the continental breakfast that was provided had plenty of coffee and made for a GREAT breakfast. We will definitely being staying here in the future.
- Christopher C (10/5): - Residence Inn paid attention to all details. Shower was spacious, good water pressure and plenty of shelves to hold extra bath items. The suite was spacious and functional. Revolving Smart TV for 360 viewing in every corner of the suite. Beds were comfortable but pillows felt like little balls of cotton inside. Plenty of charging USB ports and outlets. The kitchen was decently supplied and a comfortable seating area for dining. Firm sofa with wipeable fabric so it feels cleaner than dusty material. The only bad thing was the air conditioning vent faced one of the beds and when the air hit the ceiling, it bounced right down to the head area. The vent was not adjustable so we had to cover it with a piece of cardboard, otherwise cold air would blast right down onto our head area. The breakfast was exceptionally good, including scramble eggs with alternating sausages, patties, crispy bacon, hard boiled eggs, mini waffles, oatmeal, greek yogurt, fresh cantaloupes, and pineapple. The best part was the amazing add-ons which included walnuts, sliced almonds, raisins, cranraisins, granola, chocolate chip and pumpkin seeds. Very generous and thoughtful to the guests who need grab and go breakfast as they have microwavable pouches filled with egg and sausage McMuffins, croissant sandwiches, egg souffle, and more. Only wish they had cranberry juice. Breakfast staff was great. The ladies were cheerful and quick to refill everything. Will definitely return and recommend it!

- Jill (7/5): Over all good. The site is clean and accessible. I expect better care and easier access to tech. - Location is key for anyone traveling for business in SV corridor. Front desk staff is friendly and proficient. The property is clean, new, beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. I would have been comfortable working onsite if the wifi was accessible. People traveling for pleasure will find this location to be affordable and convenient with sufficient amenities. I was very frustrated trying to access wifi - in fact I never did. The site recognized me as a Bonvoy member but kept looping me through a login process that never worked. I attempted to access as a non member and was refused because my email address is tagged as a member. Upon trying to login and request a password reset an endless loop occurred and I had no option other than to pay which I wasn't prepared to do. Very disappointed and had to go offsite to use wifi for important business that couldn't be conducted using my business cell. Not sure I would stay again if on a business trip. Also, while it was a short stay, I didn't indicate refusal of a room refresh using the provided placards, however my room was never made up nor refreshed.
- C40YPgarys (8/5): Overall very good, with some caveats. - Overall very good experience, we stayed in a 2BR 2Bath room. The bedrooms were small, bathrooms large. The pull out sofa had no mattress, so was uncomfortable. The hotel did send several comforters to help. The free breakfast was excellent. Service was excellent and responsive. We’d stay there again.
- Linda (8/5): - We stay at the residence Inn in San Carlos three times a year. This was the by far the worst time. We asked for a room high and toward the back of the hotel so we could park near our room. We were not told that the elevator was not working. We are over 70 years old. when we went back to reception my husband asked when the elevator was going to be fixed, because if it wasn’t going to be fixed during our stay, we wanted to change rooms. We had not been to our room yet, so it was not like we had messed it up. He assured us the elevator would be fixed the next day. It was not. It still wasn’t fixed when we checked out this afternoon so we carried our luggage up and down the stairs, making several trips. We came back to the hotel last night after our business meeting, and we’re going to sit out by the fire pit And it wasn’t working. Hopefully by August since we have three rooms reserved everything will be working if not, it will probably be the last time we stayed there.

- Diana (8/5): Nice Room! - The room was nice and very large. A/C/ did not work but repair man came quickly. Did not get very cool but service was good. The carpet had 2 nails sticking up next to he kitchenette flooring. Would have been very bad for a child. I put a sign on the floor with an arrow next to it.

- Arsen (4/5): - I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the overall experience was decent, the sofa bed in my room was in terrible condition. It was extremely uncomfortable, with a worn-out mattress and poor support, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. For a hotel of this standard, I expected better quality accommodations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and upgrades the sofa beds for future guests.

- Sandi (10/5): A wonderful experience. - The staff was amazingly accommodating and friendly. We were celebrating my son’s 13th birthday by having a sleepover with his best friend. When I mentioned that to the front desk staff member they upgraded us from a one bedroom suite to a two bedroom suite. It was almost as big as a two bedroom apt! All in all, the kids and I had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back. Nothing

- Verified traveler (6/5): Pools Closed - Very helpful staff, clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that I specifically searched for a hotel with a heated pool and hot tub. Both of these were closed for our stay. I would not have stayed here if I had known this.
