Guest Reviews
- Jorilyn (8/5): a nice place to relax - Serene place heater at 1 room is not working
- Juliana (7/5): Beautiful hotel, but too high prices over all - +The location is superb.
+The rooms are lovely and big, beautiful bathrooms
+The resort is beautifully set up
+beach is picturesque -But we were unlucky and had only pouring rain for 3 consecutive days. And then there is nothing to do in the resort. No gym, no billiard, no activities for rainy days.
-The dive school is not well equipped (boat small, no coffee/tea/drinks/snacks between dives)
-the menu of restaurant has too little international dishes. The coffee is too thin (served for breakfast)
- Jethro (10/5): A peaceful escape with great food, friendly staff, and ultimate relaxation—definitely a stay to remember! - Our stay at Fridays Puerto Galera was nothing short of amazing! The peaceful ambiance made it feel like we had the whole resort to ourselves. The rooms were spacious, and the air-conditioning was perfect for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. And the food? Absolutely top-notch! Every dish was worth it, but the seafood pizza was hands down our favorite—easily an 11/10. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! We stayed in Room 502, and while the forest view was beautiful, the climb up was quite tiring. A little heads-up for future guests who might prefer easier access. One small suggestion would be to add a full-body mirror in the rooms—it would be great for guests who want to check their outfits and overall look. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay!
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (8/5): Great stay -
- Elena (8/5): Come here for peace and quiet, and beautiful surroundings, and for your dive or snorkelling experience - If you don’t dive, do absolutely try a snorkeling tour instead, what a beautiful experience! Totally worth the money!
- Goncalo (7/5): Good -
- Jackie (7/5): Good -
- Shinichiro (9/5): Excellent - Silent and clean Air conditioner’s controller was broken
- Dela (9/5): Superb - The staff is so accomodating & friendly.
- Nelson (8/5): Very good -
- Lufelomu (8/5): Very good -
- Артур (8/5): Very good -
- Marie (8/5): RELAXING - Cleanliness of the facility, very accommodating staffs. delectable variety of foods offered, they can also adjust food that you wish to eat that are not included in the menu. Value for money spent for the resort is fair. The tourist guides connected with the resort are very much informative and accommodating, helpful indeed for the first timers. NO emergency medicine, no in house massage therapist on duty specially at night. Expensive day tour package of the Puerto Galera, access to the main land of Puerto Galera especially at night since you need native boat from the resort to mainland. Somewhat there's a need for a renovation since there are wood borer from the ceiling.
- Antolin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kotaro (9/5): Super friendly staff at Fridays - The staff was super friendly, very easy to talk to, flexible to attend to your needs. If the bushes can be cut and cleaned so that we have a small route for casual stroll / walk that would have been great
- Jodie (10/5): Stunning location with amazing, attentive staff who are always so helpful and happy. Highly recommend this to anyone, in - Beautiful place! Rooms are stunning with the sea view rooms having an exceptional view. Will definitely be coming again. Nothing, it was all amazing.
- Verified traveler (10/5):
- Timothy (10/5): For Sure, Book Fridays: Peaceful Stay - The Premier Suite is not worth the extra money. The Premier Seaview is AWESOME and is about the same size as the Suite. The restaurant is great. The grounds are clean and the pool is beautiful. The staff are kind and courteous. You need to call the number on your reservation to schedule a free boat to pick you up and take you to the private island that Fridays is on. The Coral Gardens are right across the channel, almost a stone's throw. Rent a small boat to take you there to snorkel!
- Timothy (10/5): Go With the Premier Seaview. - The location is private and peaceful. The coral gardens are just a stone's throw away. The rooms are nice and they welcome you with a nice cucumber drink. The Premier Room Seaview is the best. We also booked the more expensive Premier Suite, but it wasn't as private or roomy as the Premier Room Seaview. The more expensive Premier Suite has low ceilings and less privacy. The wifi at the resort is not adequate for streaming music. You can't use video apps also with their wifi. (facebook and basic browsing only). The restaurant was great, with a nice menu and huge open walls looking out to sea. The pool is private and pretty. Very refreshing.
- Erlinda (4/5): - given a room beyond check in time, staff reason was due to no water and electricity. Ask for glass of water as we order room service food, but unable to give as per the waiter, its a policy. instead, sent a bucket of ice chargeable of 120pesos and complimentary bottle of water. the room aircon leaking like raining inside. the shower clogged seems like u have a mini pool.
- Verified traveler (10/5): GREAT resort! - It was one of the best resorts I've ever been too. It was clean, we've had some minor issues with the room which they gladly fixed right away. We even extended our stay because one night was just not enough. It was just perfect for those who want to relax and stay in a nice place for a small amount of money. The beach was clean, the pools were clean, food was not THAT expensive, service was also great. I just have no negative comment about this place. I hope that they keep up all these in the years to come. Looking forward for our next stay there.
- kang jae (10/5): - super great.
just go there. there is the no.1 in puerto galera.
- Patrick (8/5): Great resort far from the crowd - Great resort, with several activities included, such as free snorkeling gear, stand-up paddle, kayak etc. The beach towels are provided. Access is convenient: about 10 min from Muelle Pier. The room is large, and comfortable for 3 pax easily. The beach is clean and there is nice coral at 5m from the shore. Breakfast is good and inclusive. The food is good value for money. Cocktails are a bit over-priced especially regarding the content of alcohol. Little drawback: there are a lot of boats close to the beach (and sometimes sea planes). The noise is bothersome and it could be dangerous while swimming as they are passing very close from swimmers.
- Michael (10/5): Great Value for the $ - We had a great time! The staff at the hotel was AWESOME! The boat driver was great, the receptionist was great, everyone was great! I had lost my cell phone on the trip over and the staff went out of their way to help me retrieve it. The beach and pool on property were first rate. Everything was clean and organized. Scuba gear and Kayaking is FREE with the hotel stay. Food was okay, could be a little better, but okay. Yes, it's on a remote island, but it's so nice!
- Officer Carter (2/5): Staff was horrible to deal with and so far away - it is so far away from the main area so remote and staff was not kind or friendly
