• Justinita (9/5): Dragonfly was a magical experience (we come every year:) - We love dragonfly because …it’s such a fun and unique space. The location was beautiful amongst the rice fields. The design was amazing and the inclusive Sauna nights were super special. The food was so delicious,especially the vegi pizza!!! There was also an adorable little cat named Caramel. MEOW 😺 Perhaps it was a little bit dark in spaces at night (we were told to help protect the fireflies:) Can be lots of insects after the rain 🌧️ (but that’s just the tropics …

• Ashley (10/5): Beautiful quiet location, lovely rooms, wonderful service & restaurant. - Really calming environment, space between huts, beautiful walk through the garden, delicious vegetarian breakfast, lovely accommodating staff. We stayed in the family villa which had 2 bunks and a king bed so there was lots of space for our family (2 adults, 4 kids). Partially outdoor bathrooms - lovely to be out in nature and away from the business of Ubud. Good pool & steam sauna open 3 nights a week. There is no car access (part of its charm) but the walk to the hotel takes a good 15 minutes along a narrow gang, so training our little kids (3, 5 & 6) to stay out of motorbikes’ way and walk along the side was a challenge (a bit of a struggle is character building though so we were really happy to do it). It may just be prohibitive if you’re not able to hop on a scooter/ willing to walk to get in or out every day. The walk is beautiful with rice fields and a great range of restaurants all the way along.
• Tamara (9/5): Ein kleines Paradies! Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit traumhaften Garten. - Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Der Gastgeber hat sich wirklich mühe gegeben dass man sich in der Unterkunft wohl fühlte. Das Frühstück konnte man von der Menükarte auswählen, dazu gabs noch einen frisch gepressten Fruchtsaft nach Wahl, einen Obstteteller sowie Kaffee oder Kräutertee dazu. Die Menükarte ist besonders für Vegis, Veganer oder Glutenintolerante ausgerichtet. Grossartiges Essen und der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Das Dragonfly ist eine wunderschöne, gemütliche Unterkunft mit traumhaften Garten, Swimmingpool und mein Bungalow hatte einen tollen Blick auf die Reisfelder. Alles war sehr sauber und unkompliziert. Absolut ruhig gelegen. Die Lage und Landschaft war für mich ein absoluter Traum. Die Unterkunft liegt etwa eine halbe Stunde zu Fuss vom Zentrum entfernt. Hat mich zwar nicht gestört, ich empfand es als sehr friedlich den schmalen Pfad entlang zu laufen zwischen den Reisfeldern und Palmen. Zudem ist eine Teilstrecke zur Unterkunft nur mit Scooter erreichbar. DIe Unterkunft bietet aber einen Schutteldienst bis zur Hauptstrasse.

No cars are allowed access and so the natural frequency of quiet and sounds of toads and animals going about their business is so relaxing. superb steam and fire. Great find! I am regular now:) bed mattress could be better but ok.

Nature is present there 100% fireflies, Tokek, lizards, frogs - wonderful orchestra at night 😋 the breakfast fantastic ! And the staff really helpful with everything needed. Personally, only that the sauna was a bit crowded and “silent”. As a guest I’d like to enjoy it and feel free to talk if pleased. As I traveled with family (4 people) it became a bit challenging to fit everyone’s comforts especially with no AC and the nature inside & the main road to the village is about 10 min walk so not everyone liked the extra hustle

• Cinthia (10/5): Heerlijk! - Enorm mooie plek, midden in de natuur en op loopafstand van het centrum. Het paadje naar Dragonfly Village is erg leuk met verschillende eettentjes. Heerlijk plekje. Elke dag een schone kamer en het ontbijt is heerlijk. Door iedereen werden we vriendelijk ontvangen en de sauna was een pluspunt evenals de mogelijkheid om massages te boeken. We hebben genoten!

• Maddalena (9/5): Enchanting place - Staff, place, facilities, pool, sauna, people coming over are really wonderful. I had a very beautiful stay in there, I felt home. Everyone was so nice with me, and the location is a paradise. I found mouse poop in the room one night. But the staff really helped me, they cleaned the roof with disinfectant, they changed all the towels ans sheetd from the bed. They really were sorry about the situation.
• Sutriasa (10/5): Great experience at this beautiful eco friendly resort. - The breakfast was wonderful. We were happy with the breakfast selection as there was a large variety to choose from as well as the complimentary fruit and juice options. It was also very convenient to use the laundry service at the resort. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. They brought our luggage from the road to the Village and back to the road at the end of our stay. Since there’s no kitchen in each villa, we were able to store our cold food in their kitchen and they were kind enough to open coconuts for us that we got from our local friends. We are sad that we didn’t have enough time to use sauna, pool and the massage service. Unfortunately because of our busy schedule we didn’t have the time. I have nothing negative to say about the Dragonfly Village.

• Koen (9/5): Oase aan rust in een prachtig decor. - Echt een pareltje om het Balinese gevoel te ervaren. Op een 15 minuutjes wandelen van het centrum tussen de rijstvelden ligt deze fantastische oase aan rust. De sauna en het zwembad waren ook super. Alsook het ontbijt en het uiterst vriendelijke personeel maakte het compleet. Airco op de kamer. Het is er echt wel heet en vochtig. Maar draagt weer bij tot de experience.

• Michel (6/5): Sehr authentisch und basic - Das hauseigene Restaurant war sehr schön gelegen, man hatte eines Ausblick auf die Natur. Das Frühstück was sie angeboten haben war vielfältig uns sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr nett. Es wurden Massagen angeboten. In dem Zimmer gibt es keine Klimanlage und da in dem kleines Haus besondere Verzierungen ins Holz an die Wand geschnitzt wurden kamen somit Mücken rein. ( Hatten dagegen auch bestimmtes Spray gekauft). Die Dusche war Outdoor und in einer Badewanne ( war etwas niedrig)

My wife really liked it and it was a great experience. No A/C but fans kept temperature pleasant- first night was best sleep I have had in some time. Quite area. Nice restaurant on site and also nearby (we ate at both and the one just north of the both on the walking/scooter trail was really nice). We enjoyed our stay Only really drawback was that the hotel is not accessible by cars so you have to walk 700m and bags being transported by motorcycles. It is ok but we had some heavy showers during our stay- would not have been so nice to be caught in one of these to/from hotel. Again, it is minor but for some it may be an issue.

La llegada fue accidentada, pues no nos contestaban en ninguno de los canales de comunicación. Tuvimos que pagar a un chico que tenía una moto para que fuera a ver si estaba abierto el alojamiento. Se resolvió relativamente fácil, pero fue un gesto feo por parte del personal. El camino hasta el alojamiento no se puede hacer en coche, lo que dificulta el acceso, especialmente si viajas con niños pequeños, pues te pueden llevar en moto, pero los pequeños (aunque se hace) no deberían viajar en moto.

• Dennis (9/5): Schöne naturverbundene Unterkunft mit Wellnessfaktor - Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Essen, schöner erfrischender Pool zwischen Palmen und Bananenpflanzen. Die Gesamte Anlage ist sehenswert, weil sehr gepflegt und toll bepflanzt. Der Saunaabend am Feuer war eine großartige Erfahrung. Tiere, wie zum Beispiel Schmetterlinge, Raupen, Vögel, Fische und Geckos waren allgegenwärtig (wir fanden das gut!). Die Lage oberhalb von Ubud ist gut, weil es dort ruhig ist und die Luft sauber ist. Man kann direkt von hier aus Wanderungen in die Reisfelder unternehmen. Das Badezimmer ist natürlich ein Highlight. Den Aufstieg zum Dragonfly sollte man mit Gepäck nicht unterschätzen. Das Dragonfly-Personal hilft mit dem Gepäck, indem es zügig mit dem Motorroller hochgefahren bzw. auch wieder runtergefahren wird.

En d’autres circonstances je pense qu’il aurait été beaucoup plus charmant et un vrai havre de paix et de verdure. Les bungalows sont tes soignés, en bois, en détails. Tout est propre. • Abigail (10/5): Dreamt ubud magical villa - This place is dreamy! Exactly how you imagine ubud. If you want to actually experience Ubud the way you imagine it, stay somewhere like here. A bit more logistics, but on my favourite walking route in ubud, still walkable to town and easy grab ride. They can still pick you up at door on the little path. Lots of cute cafes to eat and watch sunsets nearby. The breakfasts were awesome, they did my laundry and the sauna experience there included is divine! Don’t miss that! Only thing to flag since you are staying in the rice paddy is to be aware it’s more of a nature experience. I didn’t have a problem with mosquitoes but you could. But did get a big gecko in my room. So you need to be comfortable almost like clamping to deal with a bit more nature. The no air conditioning wasn’t a problem though. Lots of fans and evenings are cooler in ubud so found it very comfortable sleeping

Tropická zahrada, úžasné snídaně z místních surovin, útulné chatky, koupelny s výhledem do džungle a jedinečná jógová studia dělají z tohoto místa opravdový ráj pro milovníky klidu a pohody.“ Nevýhodou ubytování může být jeho horší dostupnost, protože posledních 200 metrů musíte projít úzkou uličkou mezi rýžovými poli, kam se nedostane auto. Naštěstí vám personál rád pomůže a kufry vám na motorce doveze. Další nevýhodou mohou být časté dopravní zácpy v Ubudu během ranní a odpolední špičky. Přesto všechno ale toto místo rozhodně stojí za návštěvu!

No momento da reserva não fala do acesso dificil , só dão as instruções depois da reserva feita que eu não cheguei a ver pois geralmente essas mensagens de confirmação são padrão. Carro não chega no hotel, tem que andar uns 700 metros e as malas são levadas numa moto do hotel, a caminhada é agradavel mas o fato de ter sido uma surpresa não ajudou muito.

• Sabine (8/5): Very enjoyable, unique experience. - Location was great, a little bit outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Loved the villas and outdoor bathrooms. Peaceful setting with great sauna and pool. Very delicious herbal tea and great food even for a coeliac in our family. Great value for money! Narrow and busy access lane, which might be difficult to navigate at night (probably torch needed).
• Rosie (9/5): Beautiful place - This place was such an incredible experience away from the chaos of Ubud. The staff were so helpful and the herbal sauna and campfire were so nice. The breakfast was great. We saw fireflies at night around our cabin and plenty of places to eat locally. Beautiful place. Unavoidable but the walk from the road was a bit scary with all the motorbikes. The stay was a little wilder than we expected after a long journey but after a sleep this is what I liked most about the stay.
• Agni (8/5): A different resort experience. - The houses and all surroundings were excellent. It is certainly a special place, close to central tourist locations, but looks like countryside between the rice fields. Lot's of yoga places and only foot and bike traffic admiring rice fields and countless cute cafes and restaurants. We liked the rustic room and bathroom. Despite of fan the room was perfect to sleep in. The staff was very nice and helpful. Organized car to airport. Booking description do not inform that herbal sauna and stram room operates only 3 on evenings of the week (currently Mon, Wed and Sat). Chose the place beacause of the cute rustic houses and area, but herbal sauna and steam room was the reason why eventually booked there, but eventually found out that if only one night booking, not able to experience it if happeb to book for wrong day.
• Elizabeth (8/5): A relaxing stay in a stunning location providing excellent gluten free options surprisingly only a short walk from Ubud - The location is stunning. We loved the breakfast (including decent coffee) and they catered extremely well for my coeliac son. The gluten free and vegan options are excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The gf pizza was a total hit! It was rainy throughout our stay but we each got an umbrella. The pool was a nice feature and the sauna (though we didn’t try it, it was popular!) The openness of the place is a nice feature but does mean you have to seal all food items tightly to prevent small midnight visitors!

• Sophie (9/5): - Great location in between the jungle and the rice terraces, yet central enough and close to Ubud main road. There is the most beautiful yoga studio closeby, Ubud Yoga House. And lots of beautiful restaurants. They have a great restaurant with amazing terrace on site! -
• sebastien grandazzi (6/5): - Dragonfly c’est un concept… un retour en arrière, ambiance 70’s, power flower, le côté Végé, écouter du Bob Dylan à la guitare autour d’un feu de bois en sortant du sauna … En soit c’était plutôt sympa mais quand on met tout dans la balance, le concept revient cher pour le coin. On y a passé 2 nuits, fallait pas plus. Les chants de méditation toute la journée ! J’ai cru que j’allais appelé les secours !!

• Robbert (7/5): - Resort op een hele mooie locatie. Midden tussen de rijstvelden voel je je echt in de natuur van Ubud. Al was de beplanting tussen de appartementen zo groot dat je eigenlijk weinig van die omgeving mee kon krijgen. Het was zelfs een beetje benauwend.

I arrived just in time for sunset and was warmly welcomed with a motorbike ride down the village road. Check-in came with a refreshing welcome drink—just before the sauna opened, allowing me to relax and enjoy both the pool and fireplace, accompanied by warm tea. That first evening set the tone—I met incredible people who made my time in Ubud unforgettable. There are only a few places like Dragonfly Village that naturally support such meaningful connections and magical moments. The staff was kind and attentive, the gluten-free veggie pizza was delicious, and the breakfast was just right. Tucked away from the noise, the location is peaceful, with stunning gardens and a vibe that invites presence. The entire experience was wonderful—and I’ll definitely be back! There is nothing to point out. I liked everything! Maybe if there is a buffet type of breakfast that would be more in tune with the prices.

Dommage que nous ne restions une nuit, nous aurions profiter des séances de yoga et sauna .. Un peu loin à l’arrivée avec nos valises Le retour, nos bagages ont été apportés jusqu’au taxi.

• Marta (9/5): Un rincón con encanto en plena naturaleza - Dragonfly Village es un alojamiento con muchísimo encanto, rodeado de naturaleza y ubicado a solo unos minutos en moto del centro de Ubud. Es el lugar perfecto si buscas paz, relajación y una conexión auténtica con el entorno natural. El personal es muy amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudarte a organizar excursiones, transporte o cualquier cosa que necesites durante tu estancia. Disfrutamos de un desayuno excelente con unas vistas preciosas. No dispone de aire acondicionado.

• Laetitia (10/5): Super adresse proche du centre d’Ubud - Très joli petit hôtel au milieu des rizières, à l’écart du tumulte d’Ubud … Le personnel est à l’écoute, le bungalow familial spacieux et le petit déjeuner délicieux … Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au Dragonfly Village.
