• Etienne (10/5): Loved it, just go there ! - We loved everything about our stay at arcadia and it might be the best place we stayed at during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. First of all, we booked this hotel literally 1 hour before coming, and the staff wasn't bothered; they let us pick out our room from the ones that were free. The price is great, especially considering the two pools, the great rooms, and the overall level of service provided by the staff. The location is great, as it is close to the best snorkeling beach in Hikkaduwa while not being directly on the busy street. We picked this hotel because we read we could stay at the pool until we left for our flight later in the evening. What we got was actually even better. We were able to leave our stuff at the reception and enjoy our day in Hikkaduwa. We had time to go to the beach and stay by the pool, and they were even so kind as to put a room at our disposal to shower and charge our devices while we waited for our taxi. Overall we had an amazing time, and our only regret was that we only stayed there for our last two nights in Sri Lanka. Nothing

Possibilité de confier du linge pour lessive. Logement un brin vieillot mais pas de problème au regard de l'excellent rapport qualité-prix !

The staff can’t be faulted at all, taking care of us in any circumstance, and they make you feel the upmost comfortability! The pools are fantastic and very clean, the gardens and little water fountains are idyllic! Location is peaceful and the rooms are equally at ease! Don’t be a fool, book with confidence! I didn’t like that I it was so nice, else I wouldn’t have had to write about all the positives 😂

• Barbara (8/5): - Beautiful garden and two pools. Nice staff and owner was there. Comfortable bed Breakfast was not included, but good when we ordered it. On the last day the septic tanks were cleaned while we had breakfast which was a pity! Internet was patchy.
• JXT (6/5): Not great - Room was large. Property was quiet. Location was central in the town. It is next to the only grass field in the town where Christmas concerts were taking place all night with loud music. Checkin was very slow and rather unprofessional. We waited 30 min even though they claimed to be ready. A cockroach was found in the separate kitchen space, which itself was dirty. The toilet was tiny and badly designed. It also suffered from water flowing in from the water tank when staff forgot to switch off the motor.

Pomógł nam zorganizować transfer na lotnisko. Miałyśmy opcję bez śniadania, ale była możliwość skorzystania z kuchni. Bardzo miła obsługa , zawsze pomocna. Chciałyśmy zamienić pokój ze względu na brak okien, ale niestety było pełne obłożenie. Jedyny problem w pokoju Family to brak okna, bardzo nam to przeszkadzało.

• Karlijn (10/5): Fantastisch! - Het was een prachtige accommodatie in het groen! Er waren zelfs twee zwembaden en de kamers zagen er piekfijn uit. Het is ook nog een vrij nieuwe accommodatie. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Niet alleen op de dag van aankomst kregen wij een drankje aangeboden, maar ook de volgende dag toen wij lekker aan het zwembad lagen. Wij raden deze accommodatie zeer aan!!

I would recommend this place, the location was good right beside the bus station. The rooms were good size, pillows were comfy. The breakfast was a bit dear, it was 8$ per person. It felt more like you had to get it. They insisted, but we were leaving that day and didn't need it.

• Pearl (10/5): Calm oasis in busy town - Suneth was great and made me feel very welcome and The rest of the staff are very friendly and were always available to answer questions. Arcadia has two different pools for you to choose from and you are a very short walk to the sea. My room was very clean, with working AC and mosquito net so I had a very comfortable stay. This was my first stop on my trip in Sri Lanka and it was the perfect place to recover from travel and start exploring. Hikkaduwa is nice town that you can easily get around on foot but also there always tuktuk waiting for you.

• Davies (9/5): 2 nights in Hikkaduwa - The staff were lovely and the room was very comfortable but the gardens and pool were exceptional. Also there is a fabulous bakery close by, Bun & Bread. The only down side was that it is located on the wrong side of town, not a problem as its just 400slr to turtle beach and the better end of the strip. That being said, if we had stayed in the tourist end we wouldn't have seen both sides.

Two - The property was large with two pools, there is nothing the staff wouldn’t do for you and help you with local knowledge. And can arrange trips. Large clean room with net over the bed the bathroom was huge, there is a pool table in reception to use. The air conditioning in our room was amazing.

• Leendert (10/5): Geweldig verblijf.. bij alles in de buurt... - Heel schoon en comfortabel verblijf. Hele goede wifi, en Airconditioning 2 schone zwembaden mooi aangelegde tuin. Op korte loopafstand van de hoofdweg met veel restaurants. Ontbijt beschikbaar en op zich goed.. maar traag gereserveerd en verkeerde volgorde. Eerst Fruit dan na 10 minuten het Ei, dan na 10 minuten de toast en de koffie en fruitsap pas na 40 minuten... Maar zou er zo weer terug keren... prima.

The resort is in a good location, 10/15 min walk to the many restaurants etc. The resort is just beautiful and we loved our 2 nights there. I would highly recommend staying here.
• Lee (9/5): Nice hotel in good location - Good, clean room with 2 lovely swimming pools and gardens surrounding them. Good easy walking access to the beach, train, bus station. The manager and owner were very friendly and helpful.
• Martin (8/5): Cozy and friendly place for relaxing - Cozy rooms for the best price per value. Amazing pools. Nice kitchen area - although it is 500LKR for using the gas stove… Would be better to know beforehand. The breakfast was nice but not worth 8USD. In general, very nice place with a beautiful green and calm vibe. A short walk to the beach and shops. Cozy and friendly place to relax at. Thank you.

• Tony (9/5): Superb - Lovely room and fantastic hospitality from the hosts. Great having two pools also. Unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t the best and wouldn’t connect from our room which was a shame. That’s the only reason I have a mark down.
• Daisy (10/5): Beautiful stay with kind hosts - Really friendly hosts! We arrived to fresh juice whilst we checked in and a lovely clean, spacious a/c room. The pool area is beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing here. Close walk to everything and right by the station! Such good value. Highly recommend!

• Eva (10/5): Amazing resort in one of the best of locations. - I love the warm welcome I received while arriving and during my stay at the Arcadia resort. The staff was always close if I had any questions, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a nice stay. The welcome drink was also a very nice touch. The location is one of the best. Almost right next to the train and bus terminal and in close walking distance to turtle beach, liqour shop and many restaurants. The pool and garden areas are beautiful, well kept and very calm. And the rooms are very convenient, spacious and clean. Def. Recommend people to stay at this resort if they are in the area.

The manager of the hotel was so friendly, always made sure we were comfortable and went out of his way to accomodate us. The pools are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and great air con. • Aneta (9/5): Garden escape - We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was big, clean, with comfortable bed. The staff are super attentive and lovely - they will try to accommodate you in any way possible. They are working hard. The garden and pool area is a refreshing escape from the busy Main Street of Hikkaduwa. I would stay there again. There was only one thing that I would add - our room didn’t have any blackout curtains, so it was really bright the moment sun rose. Bring an eye mask. 😊
