- Caroline (6/5): Definitely not recommended !!! - Due to the price of over 1300€ for 3 nights for two people we did expect more to be honest. When we arrived at the reception we weren‘t welcomed in a nice manner, instead they looked at us as „if we were unable to check-in ourselves“ through the given codes. We are not in our twenties & prefer to be checked-in in person. Certainly not a warm welcome! Very unfriendly! We weren’t aware of the noise of the city centre & the trumpet man on the main square which comes out EVERY HOUR ALSO AT NIGHT TIME (!!) It‘s a real man & a real trumpet- a tradition which needs to be respected but I think properties should point this out clearly as this was out first visit to Krakow & we simply didn’t know. I wouldn’t have booked this place if only I had known & I especially asked in my first message to the property about the noise. As the two bedroom apartment faced not the main square but a side street, we were reassured that given the layout (5th floor) we should be fine but the information was misleading & we didn’t sleep a single night. The windows & doors are not good as we‘d have expected (!!!) One could hear the crowds from the street & from their own/bar or nightclub. At 2am in the first night we were disturbed by a completely drunk guy who hammered against our door & our neighbours door. My partner told him off but it went on. The reception was useless the next morning & they told us that TOTAL STRANGERS FROM OUTSIDE HAVE ACCESS TO THE BUILDING as they only rent „Fragola Apartments“ within this building. Imagine to book an apartment from booking.com & to receive such an answer! We expected a safe stay in an exclusive central area. If total strangers are able to enter the building at least the reception should run 24/7 in order to prevent such situations which are totally unpleasant for a tourist. They told us we should have called at 2am & they would have sent someone. Same as above
- grahame (10/5): wonderful !! - An amazing and beautiful, extremely comfortable room. Probably the best apartment room i have experienced. The location next to the main square and surrounding streets was extremely useful. The in-room bathroom area was a little cramped...but that really didnt affect the wonderful feeling from the room and overall stay.
- Andrew (8/5): It really is a lovely studio in a great location… - Good communication with hosts, wonderful location, very clean, comfortable beds, good shower, outside terrace is lovely The fact that 3 codes are needed to enter the room… one for the front door of the building, one for the corridor where the rooms are, and one for the room… I walked out of the room and to the lift one morning without my phone… luckily there was a cleaner who saw me leave and could let me back in… If not I don’t know what I would have done. Some kind of fob system would be easier.

- Polina (10/5): Заслужава си! в - Ще започна още с настаняването. Ние бяхме в апартамент Феникс. Няколко дни по-рано получих точни и ясни инструкции. Има работеща рецепция на етаж 3, където ни посрещната изключително любезни, но дори и да се пристигане след работно време, няма проблем с настаняването. Местоположението е ТОП! Апартаментът е много красив и уютен, изключително добре декориран! Разпитала с всичко необходимо за няколко дни престой. Леглото и възглавниците са удобни. Разполага с голяма хидромасажна вана, която задължително трябва да се опита! (носете си соли за вана😉) В банята всичко е чудесно! Много ме впечатли наличието на радио там, което може да си пуснеш, докато се къпеш или си в апартамента. През целия ни престой домакините се интересуваха дали имаме нужда от нещо. Изключително място! Допринесе много за цялостно перфектно изживяване в Краков. Бих се върнала отново със сигурност! Две дребни неща. Нямаше директна гледка към площада, а към покриви на съседни сгради. Виждахме само високите кули на площада. Това със сигурност има и своите положителни страни - няма шума на площада. На мен лично ми липсваше кафе машина. Не е нещо голямо, но обичам сутрин да си пия кафето веднага след ставане. Кухнята бяле заредена с кафе, чай, изстантно кафе, захар. Припомних си студентските години, когато си правех кафе на тенджера на котлона.🙃

- Hayley (7/5): Great location, but needs maintenance - I have stayed in the same room exactly two years ago and we booked again because we loved the location I say this was sadness, but it seemed tired and needed some updating. The flooring was uneven and sunken in places and the bathroom looked tired. Also the noise was unbelievable (this was not noise from the krakow marathon (we stayed during the marathon two years ago) but this was general shouting and loud behaviour that went on all night. The apartment did provide earplugs but they weren’t enough it really disturbed our sleep)). Also we ran out of toilet roll and had no response from the property until hours later (sourced our own). It just needs a big overhaul in general. It used to feel like a hidden gem but the lack of maintenance (especially the collapsed flooring) could even be dangerous for people unsteady on their feet. If some attention was paid and maybe double glazing installed it would be perfect!

Super friendly helpful staff, fantastic location and beautiful comfortable beds. We had a balcony but there was no chair or tables to sit which would have been a nice touch.

- Dave (10/5): I loved everything about Feniks Fragola and would not hesitate to recommend it. - I stayed at Feniks Fragola for a week in early April and could not have been happier with the choice. The location is simply unbeatable ,right in the heart of the Old Town, with everything you could want just steps away. Whether you are heading to the Main Market Square, exploring the castle, or finding a great restaurant for dinner, you are perfectly positioned to do it all without ever needing a taxi. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, but the real showstopper was the three large bay windows. Each one features built-in seating with pillows, and together they frame a breathtaking view directly over the Market Square. A perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or simply sitting and watching the square come to life below. The view alone is worth booking this place for me. The one minor note I would offer is that there is some creaking in the wood flooring between the two rooms , nothing that affected the stay in any meaningful way, but worth mentioning for those who are light sleepers. Beyond that small detail, I loved everything about Feniks Fragola and would not hesitate to recommend it. In fact, I fully intend to return on my next visit to Kraków.
- H&M (10/5): Best apartment with a view - Our apartment has the best view of the old town square. I can stay there all day people watching. The free coffee and tea is a nice touch. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The 3 different set of codes to enter the building, the floor and the apartment is a challenge, you just have to put the numbers in your phone. I definitely would stay here again. Nothing.

С гледка към кулата на катедралата Санта Мария (St. Mary's Basilica). Към апартаментите няма салон за организирана закуска, но домакините осигуряват допълнително, при желание на туристите, чрез ваучери закуска в близки ресторантчета. Ние се възползвахме от тази услуга и мога да Ви уверя, че мястото на което закусвахме, беше прекрасно и уютно, подредено с много вкус и естетика (казваше се Restauracja & Lounge Bar Sempre Bracka - Bracka 3, 31-005 Kraków, Полша - единствено кафето малко го правеха по-дълго от необходимото, но това го отдаваме на младостта на бармана, вероятно беше влюбен :))) Относно организацията на домакините, нямам лоши впечатления. Единствено при отваряне на прозореца в банята влизаше доста неприятна миризма, но това е поправимо (не отваряш прозореца и не ти мирише :)) ВНИМАВАЙТЕ В ОБМЕННИТЕ БЮРА в града, там правят много измами!!!

Le bruit en continu durant la nuit de vendredi à samedi, impossible de dormir, percussions propre au bâtiment comme une boîte de nuit. J avais pris l appartement par rapport à la vue, la chambre etait située face à un mur. Au premier regard l’appartement est beau mais morceau de moquette tel un rajout à côté du lit et vasque salle de bain fissurée.

One of the nights when we got back from dinner, the locked door that brings you from the main hallway/elevator to the hallway of Feniks apartments was held open with a door jam, maybe from other guests but it made me feel a bit unsafe. The shower head position and shower door seal at the bottom don’t work together well.. water leaks clear under the glass door if the shower head is angled up at all, you can’t use half the shower space!

Niczego nie brakowało, herbata, cukier, kawka. Przy łóżku zatyczki do uszu, słychać było co prawda muzykę , ale tak to bywa w rynku. Bardzo czysto, elegancko. Piękny widok z okna na rynek. Bardzo wygodne łóżka, poduszki. Wszystko na jak najwyższym poziomie. Na pewno niebawem ponownie wrócimy. Polecam z całego serca

- Judith (9/5): Comfortable apartment, great view, and perfect location for the sights of Krakow - This is a great location, the apartment had a lovely view and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The only slight negative is that the communal hallways are a little run-down. Refurbishment is obviously taking place and there were items such as old bed frames stored in the hall.
