• Diana (3/5): - The owner was nice but sadly that was all, the place was really unclean, the shared shower rooms looked like they had never been cleaned, the bedroom smelt and the kitchen was really grubby. Not to mention how uncomfortable the bed was.

• Gabriela (9/5): Good facilities, a chill house and good location! - The warmness of the host and how comfortable were the beds. The only thing I didn’t like were the showers, because the doors are half open on the top and it gets cold during the fall/winter.

• Marcelo Raimondi (10/5): GREAT PLACE ! - Mr. Moe, the owner and manager, is a great person. The hostel is a lovely place! Clean, organized, well located, safe and the kitchen is great. People are very respectful and you feel like home! I highly recommend Narrara! Mr. Moe also helped a lot explaining and giving a lot of hints about the sorriunding areas. The best place to stay in Hobart for sure. Nothing to declare

El señor Mo es súper amable y servicial. El área de la cocina es un poco pequeña pero si no tienes afán puedes esperar a que esté un poco desocupada y regresar.

• Steve (10/5): Enjoyed my time there - The owner was very nice and let me hang out on my last day and sleep in a bit. Its safe and I found the other people in the hostel friendly. Shows some of the local hiking trail and the Cascades Brewery. Leave a comment if you find it helpful . Cheers It may not be for everyone if you don't appreciate a hostel a but dated but with a nice charm about it.

The communal area or the kitchen is excellent for meeting people and if you wanna chill in your room by yourself, you can also do that. The owner, Moe, gives the place its character with his warm personality and extra kindness. I was allowed to store my luggage there while i was up im Launceston, which was very nice.

This place is located in an amazing environment, a 5 minutes Walk to the centre. Felt Absolutely safe . The place is neat and tidy . A lot of cafe nearby.

Ich konnte meine Sachen bis zu meinem Abflug im Hostel lassen. Das war klasse. Die Küche hätte ein bisschen sauberer/ ordentlicher sein können. Leider hat das WLAN nicht bis zu meinem Zimmer gereicht, im Gemeinschaftsraum gab es aber WLAN

• 11325 (7/5): Convenient stay in Hobart - Homely hostel feel in a great location. Cosy shared space. Mo was a great host and accommodated for our check-in times Worn out but cosy feel. Slightly convoluted route to the women's bathroom/showers (due to the layout of the building). Wifi only available in the shared space.

• Dsd2809 (9/5): Owner will make you feel at home - The owner is lovely and made me feel so welcome. He is extremely hospitable and treated me like I was a guest in his home. I stayed in a private double room. The room was really comfortable and had everything I needed. It can feel like a bit of a walk from the nearest SkyBus stop but that's more because of the steep streets and not really anything to do with the place itself.

Good toilet facilities Smelly bathroom drains and dirty kitchen, lots of old grease that hasn’t been cleaned in a long time.

J’ai occupé la chambre familiale qui se trouve un peu à l’écart et c’était parfait pour moi, je n’ai pas vu les dortoirs. Mo est très aimable et à l’écoute. Bon rapport qualité prix.

• Gillian (9/5): Superb - super easy, super convenient, and very comfortable. - Mo the owner was super responsive to any queries and very helpful, especially as I was arriving later in the evening (plane delayed). Facilities are all super clean and well appointed. Great self-catering set-up available which is nice to know about before hand as you can quickly come with your supplies and store them in whatever space you find in one of the two fridges. Nothing. It is a backpackers / hostel environment so don't come with grand expectations of a hotel. All my comments are in context of what Narrara offers as a hostel.

• Larissa (9/5): Great value for money, and a cozy time - Walking distance from CBD, and the facilities were always clean. The kitchen was very functional and had everything you need. I've stayed in a private room, and couldn't perceive much noise around me (but take it with a grain of salt as I'm a sound sleeper anyways). Like the other reviews mention, Mo is an amazing host!! He makes everything within his reach to make you feel cared for. Also he gave me good tips on how to make the most of my trip. I definitely will have warm memories about my time in Tasmania due to his hospitality (and the amazing landscapes too, of course!) The private room was a tad small for my (big) luggages. A lot of stairs to reach the room. Luckily, on my check out one of the gentlemen guests + Mo helped me with the luggages downstairs, which was not the case on my check-in :(

• Rachel (6/5): - Mo was the best part of this hostel - he was so welcoming and made us feel really comfortable straight away helping to carry our bags and bringing us fresh warm towels :) Good location for exploring the city and had some free overnight parking on the street. Small rooms and feel like the place could do with a deep clean - bathrooms quite unclean and lots of flies round the whole place. Quite a small kitchen and not a lot of fridge space, think there were quite a lot of long term residents and so didn’t feel super welcoming but not really down to the hostel.
