- Sarah (2/5): - Save yourself and do not stay here. From outward appearance, we thought this was going to be a cute little boutique hotel where we could get a good night's sleep. Their website advertises an included breakfast. Not only does it not even include a cheesy continental breakfast there, you get given a $5 voucher to use at 2 restaurants in town where $5 won't come close to covering breakfast. The first night, the fridge in the room was clanking so loudly that we were woken up repeatedly. We figured, these things can happen and unplugged it for the second night. Not getting any sleep the first night, we were really ready for some rest night two. Housekeeping never came in and re-set the room. The second night was absolutely horrible. There is a bar/restaurant on the first level that apparently is the party spot for the town and where they have no issues over serving their patrons. We got to the hotel around midnight and encounter 6-10 very drunken college aged people. We went upstairs and assumed they would leave and we could get some rest. Apparently they were staying in the hotel as well. Yelling, kicking and banging on doors, doors slamming, and arguing went on until 3am. I called the front desk. They did very little to assure me they would get the situation under control. I gave them 30 minutes, then had to call the non-emergency police number. Around 3:30am, it finally calmed down. We had to get up at 6:00am so got no sleep for two nights.

Only two flimsy wire hangers in the closet, not luggage racks to place luggage on, one of the two sinks did not drain at all, Expedia advertised free breakfast but the hotel only provided a $5 breakfast voucher for each person which did not cover the cost of breakfast (very disappointed with this). Expedia misrepresented the free breakfast for sure.

I would totally recommend The Meadows Hotel and I'd make a point to stay there again if we're in the area.

- Allison (2/5): Did not stay here due to weather. No refund given. - Severe storms caused us to cancel our trip the day before arrival, which was a day after the cancelation window. The hotel did not refund our payment and communication was through automated messages with no personal response. Hotel may be great but I was not impressed with the service considering the flooding which prevented our arrival.

Only bad thing was no breakfast in the hotel, though they have a dining room. But they did give us vouchers for a coffee shop about a block away that was good and reasonable.

I canāt wait to go back with friends for a weekend getaway. One tip-bring yourself a couple bottled waters because there are no vending machines, and youāll need to go just down the street for coffee.

Our room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Itās sad when you sleep better in a hotel bed than you do at home.

- William (10/5): A pleasant stay at a historic property. - I received a $5,00 voucher for the Buttercup Bistro which is a couple of short blocks from the hotel. The food was good and the service was even better. If the hotel owns the bar I would recommend management remind the bartenders and wait staff that since they work for tips they may do much better if they put their smartphones down and interact with ALL the customers, not just the regulars.

You get a voucher to go over to a small cafƩ. It is within walking distance. They do gave a restaurant on site. Bed was very comfy.

- FrequentFlier742306 (10/5): A hidden gem in a lovely town in Kentucky. - We were visiting Fulton due to our son playing for the Railroaders, a summer college baseball team. Itās a small town. We didnāt expect a lovely hotel such as The Meadows. They did a great job renovating this classic inn. Itās bright, clean and very well decorated. Their lounge and restaurant serve hand crafted drinks and offers an excellent menu. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant is not open for breakfast but they do offer vouchers for two different cafes, both are just steps away. The hotel is centrally located. Itās an easy walk to the restaurants and shops located in Fultonās quaint downtown. Fulton is sweet little town. We felt very welcome there. The locals are all warm and friendly. Weāll be returning to Fulton during the summer season and we will definitely stay at The Meadows again.

Our room overlooked the park and Main Street of town - Quiet, clean, with friendly staff and unique furnishings and displays in a historic setting. There were few places to go on a Sunday night, but it was a perfect stop on the way to view the eclipse. Not a dislike, but there was no breakfast as advertised. They provided a $5 gift certificate to a very nice coffee shop less than a block away which we used.

- Sharon (10/5): Loved The Meadows Hotel - The hotel is an older remodeled hotel with a touch of elegance. Our room was small but clean and simply but tastefully done. There is a nice restaurant on the premises that is good and reasonably priced.
- Bryan (10/5): - Loved that as we checked in, we were walked to our room and let in to make sure that everything was in good shape. I was also very happy with the rooms and the comfortable furniture. Bathroom was renovated. All in all very impressed with a small town Hotel. I would definitely stay again when visiting UTM.

- Roxie (10/5): Thereās not breakfast in-house, but my kids and I enjoyed walking over to the diner. That was an experience for my Afri - Vintage ā¦ Itās such a beautiful property and the fact that I buy and repurpose old buildings add and extra treat. I just love what yāall have done with the hotel. There isnāt anything that I didnāt like about the property. The only thing that I can say I be sure to double check your trash cans in the rooms. One of ours had not been emptied. Other than that 10/10.

A great mattress and an actual light blanket instead of the heavy comforters the accomodations industry is going to. A wonderful experience, we will return as we pass through on the way to or from Florida.

- Jennifer (10/5): Pageant shopping stay! Very Nice! - Beautiful restored hotel with rich history. Directly across from the new Joann's store, so very convenient. The town was very nice, everywhere we ate was wonderful.
- Kenneth (10/5): Beautiful hotel with great service and breakfast. - There was a problem with our booking but the desk manager gave us an available room while he checked into the problem. Could not have been more helpful or considerate. The beds in our room were very high and hard for 2 short 70 somethings to access, but we managed!
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Lovely hotel, convenient for my purposes in Ky; staff were all very friendly. If you're in a room down from the lobby, you can close the door at the end of the hallway to reduce sounds from lobby/restaurant.

- David (10/5): - The check in staff was excellent. Room # 3 ceiling vent was dirty and apparently had mole, which sent my partner into an Asthma episode. The clerk very graciously transferred us to Room 11, which was excellent. We enjoyed the two $5.00 vouchers at the local restaurant and met the local people, and then went to the Banana Festival.
- Mandy (7/5): Cute, comfortable hotel. - This hotel is small and quaint. Rooms were nice. Shower was awesome. We were not told of an event that was happening on our first night. Very loud music and slamming the heavy, wooden doors til after midnight. This was very unfavorable after my long 7+ hour drive. Just wished we would have been made aware before booking. Also, one bed in our room was a little wonky, not level, but we made due with it.

- annetteMemphis_tn (10/5): Southern Hospitality at its bestā¦ - This hotel was a treasure to find, nestled among the shops of a quaint town square. From the front desk crew to the local business owners, they all made us feel very welcome. When we checked in, the gentleman at the desk provided us with some history of the town and shared with us why they are considered the ābanana capital of the world.ā The room was lovely and the service was top notch. We look forward to staying at The Meadows again when we are in town.

- Patrick (10/5): - We had an amazing stay at The Meadows Hotel. Truly a diamond in a small town. The bar was well stocked and the restaurant was delicious. The room was very comfortable, with top of the line bedding and sheets. We will be back again, as I'm a land agent and frequent the area often.

- Remillard (8/5): Overall nice š - I liked the historical feel of the hotel. I like that it had restaurant/ bar. It was very clean and quite nice. The room felt a bit humid unless you put the ac down to really cold. The restaurant closed earlier than the bar. On the site the business hours makes you believe restaurant is open as late as the bar. I was not put in the room that I had booked. I was on the 2nd floor which clearly is not a disability room.

- GreekamericanMom (8/5): Quiet, beautiful hotel in Fulton, KY - This restored hotel is gorgeous. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. The front desk person on the day we checked in was phenomenal in her communication when I called to ask if we could get an early check in (we had a red eye from SFO to Nashville). We really appreciated her kindness in getting us in early! The little cafe that serves breakfast was closed, so we did not get to try that. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms very clean and quiet. The GM seems not so happy and a bit grumpy, but maybe he was having a bad day.

The first room we were given wasnāt cleaned and beds were not bad. Second room we couldnāt get the AC to work but the front desk gentlemen came and figured it out for us. Then we couldnāt get the tv to work
