• Pascale (5/5): Nice apartment but overall a disappointing stay. Service is everything. Next time I’ll try the Marriott. - The property is conveniently located across the road from the gondola and provides easy access to shops and restaurants. The apartment was nice and clean but the fireplace which was the main attraction wasn’t working. The ski valet service is good, you can leave your skis overnight and pick them up in the morning. At the time of our stay they were 4 reception staff on different shifts, two of them were exceptionally friendly and helpful: thank you again Toni, you were amazing, and thank you to the gentleman who checked us in and drove us to Edgewood for dinner on our first night - so sorry I forgot your name. Unfortunately the other two were unhelpful, they set the reception phone on voicemail to avoid calls from guests calling for transportation at the end of the day, and found excuses to avoid driving us to the California Lodge lifts in the morning. One lady in particular (C) just doesn’t belong in a customer-service job and should do everyone a favor and get another job. While it is priced like a four-star hotel, what you get is just a condo, with none of the services. For the price, you’d think they’d throw in a bit of daily housekeeping, but no. All they do is pick up the trash bags that people leave outside their doors overnight. If you want a change of towels it will cost you $150. Nobody’s there to help with your luggage, they’ll watch you struggle with your suitcases without lifting a finger. One service that’s included in the price is the free transportation within the resort, for example to and from the Cal lodge ski lifts, or to restaurants in the evening. However we only got transportation when Toni was on shift and the first night with the nice gentleman. The other two (C and O) were too busy/ unbothered, never picking up the phone in the evening or flatly refusing to drive you when you asked in the morning.

Also between members of staff there was confusion on their cleaning communication. Which left us asking again and again for fresh towels. Bit disappointing when you are on break..!

Check out confusing , front desk told me just to leave and they will email me receipt, didn’t even ask for room number. Had to send email asking for check out recipient. Overall great place just couple things that could be improved

• Suterameya (8/5): Very good - Location, cleanliness Room temperature. Have a hard time to adjust the temperature. Too hot. Furniture broken and called maintenance. The maintenance came but didn’t fix or replace it. ( the leg of the bench for dining table)

No breakfast offered. No restaurant at hotel. Picture of hotel does not match where it is located. Could have been cleaner. Found clothes from previous guests in corner of room

• Tim (8/5): I would stay again, nice…expensive. They did not deliver this time - It’s a nice property. All individual owned condos. More upscale usually when we come here. About 6 times now. This time was … blah. Girl at front desk acted like we were a bother to her and why would we disturb her at her work! We dealt with her three times in our stay there and I was so close to having a word with a Manager. We are talking 800 a night. I went through booking.com which includes all fees and taxes . When we got to the resort, the said girl wanted our credit card to charge for resort fees. I told her and she could see that we paid and were charged through booking for that. But she insisted. We traveled and were up very early and I was not going to argue and I would deal with it later . We were assigned room 319 we know the rooms as we have stayed before. We were somewhat disappointed this time. They had a 8 x 10 throw rug on top of the original rug all the corners of the throw rug were turned up. When you walk in the room, you’re looking at the view and not at the floor. My husband, who is 60 years old started walking towards the slider to open it, and because the corner was turned up, caught his foot, and he tripped. Also, one of the beds in the bedroom the mattress was horrible. Several times I went down to the front desk to talk with the girl and nobody was there different times of the day and early evening. Also, I spoke with Booking.com, and they said they should not be charging me for the resort fee.

• Lucille (9/5): Beautiful room - One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in. I had the two bedroom two bath condo/suite. Everything was high-end and lovely. Beautiful vaulted ceilings, huge windows, just gorgeous. Near a lot of fun activities and restaurants as well. Only has a couple of issues.. the pocket doors were incredibly hard to lock. They didn’t quite line up with the door frame, so had to wiggle them around a bit to lock them, and even then they were so stiff. Also our toilet in the main bathroom had a small leak. Otherwise, great stay
