Jean-louis (8/5): Serene and relaxing great value family resort - Very relaxing resort, the surroundings are beautiful as the decor of the facilities. The staff was courteous and helpful, although few spoke good english. An enjoyable introduction to Kanchanaburi at a reasonable cost. The resort is a little out of the way, so one must factor in the cost of a vehicle.
David (10/5): Will be back when next in kanchanaburi - What a fantastic place , probably one of the cleanest resorts we’ve used in Thailand You ideally need transport as it’s location but maybe bolt or grab not a problem, didn’t affect us as we had transport and was great to see the local elephants raiding the local shop upon leaving the last day 🐘😁🇹🇭
Kiriyaka (10/5): A little hidden gem - Very nice and peacfull hotel. Hotel located beside the river. Staffs were so polite and ready to help at any time you need help. The room was very big, bigger than many places I have seen. Decerations were beautifull, threes, garden and pool were all well take cared.
Duniya (7/5): Nice place for writers looking for some solitude - It is right on the bank of the river, surrounded by lush gree mountains and fields, but in the middle of nowhere. The location is great, but far away from the city and you can find no public transport from the hotel to the city but from the city to the hotel no problem. There should be a gym at the facility. Most of the staff, although very nice and helpful, didn't speak any English, so communication was a big issue. The place is in the middle of nowhere, so there must be some facilities at the hotel to keep the guests entertained.

Great staff; spacious room with patio; nice pool; beautiful garden / park on the banks of Kwai River; excellent location; short drive to Kanchanaburi; excellent meals; great place to relax and chill. We stayed a Tuesday & Wednesday night, and there were only a few guests.

Fiona (8/5): Fun but relaxing stay - Very quirky set-up (with a bit of a Beatrix Potter theme) but huge, clean comfortable bungalows, massive swimming pool and great location on the river. The staff were very accommodating despite speaking hardly any English (and our Thai being very poor). The Thai food was fantastic - stick with this (as the Western food wasn’t good). There’s Table Football, Air Hockey and a games console which the kids loved. Plus inflatable toys for the pool….which we had to ourselves most of the time. The breakfast buffet was a little full-on for the kids (pretty much everything Thai and spicy) for the four mornings we were there….but it certainly encouraged them to try new things….pork porridge!!

Remote. 12km from Kanchanaburi and not where I expected according to the blurb on booking.com but overlooked because such a lovely place. Advertised for international guests but no English language channel on tv and dinner in the restaurant was a bit of a disaster, food came piecemeal and drinks not at all! So to sum up, bring your own android box and head into town to eat in the evening.

I enjoyed the resort very much but it was due to the staff that this is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Jkgmuc (8/5): Highly recommended to explore Kanchanaburi and Bridge River Kwai. - We were the only guests so there were restrictions on the services. But the staff made up for it with special extras. Although the restaurant was closed, the chef was brought in to cook dinner for us. Instead of a breakfast buffet, we were served a nicely arranged breakfast on our terrace, so rich that we couldn't finish it. Highly recommended place to explore the immediate area of Kanchanaburi. Staff is very poor in English.

The restaurant was first class - had dinner and breakfast there and it was very crowded at dinner showing it was popular in the area and justifiably so because the food was tasty and good Thai quality ..... loved all the food and breakfast had lots of choices with great food too (Thai and western). The suites beside the pool were just perfect for our family as the kids spent a long time swimming in the pool which was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had an excellent night's sleep. We will definitely be back to this resort when we next visit our family in this region of Thailand.
RogerE505 (8/5): Best river resort / Worst restaurant in the region - Let’s start about the resort/hotel: - secluded / quiet spot by the river (good to avoid mass tourism) - clean / modern / well decorated (very romantic) - comfortable king size bed (5 star quality) - nice little pool while we loved the hammock on the river at sunset, see picture - friendly staff - well priced, good value for money, though you would need to come by rental car like us as it is 20mn from town However, the restaurant/food was the worst we ever experienced in Thailand: - not tasty, not fresh, poorly cooked Thai food - western food was even worst, not eatable hence we asked for refund which the staff could understand with a smile - you would eat better quality at 7-Eleven microwave dishes! - just disgusting, explaining why nobody was eating here for lunch and 2 tables only at night To conclude, as long as you don’t eat here, this is the best place in Kanchanaburi 😀 we loved it! In regard to the food, the positive side is that we lost 1kg during our stay - great if you are on a diet...

In this resort, you have the feeling to be inside a new brand and luxury villa with pool and the Kwaï River view. The garden is wonderfull. River view and pool view. The garden is flat and very well maintained. He has many species of trees. This resorts is nearly new and everything is very clean (garden and rooms). There is a fresh and natural atmosphere. The colors are in the spirit of the nature and the river. Ideal for the couples (very calm and romantic) but also for families as it's very secure with a very nice pool (salt treatment) and a large flat park with green grass and many toys and banches. This hotel is not big and that is good too for privacy and calm. Bedrooms are very large with bed, sofa, table (and brighten with high ceillings and new air conditionned and fan). The staff is honest and still ready to help. The breakfast is huge and delicious. The restaurant is very good and large menu. The location is perfect to visit Kanchanaburi. Not far the center. Price is reasonable. I recommand 100 % this resort.

The staff spoke very well. The food was clean and fresh. The most important for me was a clean room, the atmosphere was nice and the pool we liked was a salt water pool. noz19 (10/5): Lovely Place, right by the River Kwai - This place is a little detached from Kanchanaburi, but it is well worth that sacrifice. We were in a Junior suite - very comfortable, plenty of room and spotlessly clean. Happy smiley faces everywhere from the staff who cannot wait to help you - with anything (nothing smutty! ). The head receptionist spoke the best English and she took personal responsibility for us as we were the only Europeans there - to the point where she would stay up until we were back at the hotel in case we needed someone from the hotel to come and get us. Travellers with kids will enjoy the pool and the hotel inflatables.
ajinkyaihm1 (10/5): Hidden gem in kanchnabhuri - I have no words to explain this resort and mainly it staff ..hats off to the each one working there. It’s a small 20-25 bed resort near the river on Kanchanaburi but this property is so well maintained as if it’s a star deluxe property. We took a 2 bed suite and had all the details with Decor in the rooms .The swimming pool and garden was beautiful. As our family was vegetarian they took an extra effort to make sure some stuff is available for us . At check out they had a small picture soviniere ready for us and with a warm smile . I definitely recommend this hotel for everyone just to experience the hospitality

The rooms were spacious and very nicely decorated, and the grounds beautifully landscaped. It seems to be relatively new as we saw that they are building a dock against the river and there was nothing showing signs of wear. The staff was very friendly, but English is not commonly spoken. One girl was available during the day who could speak English, but we managed. The pool was nice, right in the middle of the grounds with soft music playing during the day and evening. We only had the included breakfast. There was a local and western choice. Tried both, recommend the local. Very quiet, I think there were only a couple of other guests there. Highly recommend.

The pool was nice and clean but very close to the houses so you could not really making loud noise. There was area where you can walk to the river and enjoy the view. However; the breakfast lines were not that veriety, and if you don’t have a car yourself it’s hard to get to the resort as it’s quite far from the city.
