• Corton (10/5): homely and cosy - loved the atmosphere, it transports you to traditional kyoto pillow was a bit strange for me, it hurt to sleep. maybe offer a substitute? the onsen was dirty too, hairs and bits of grime
• Christian (10/5): Alles suoer. Kann ich empfehlen. - Klasse Ryokan. Das Zimmer selbst ist sehr spärlich und schlicht eingerichtet, was mich nicht gestört hat. Ich hatte kein eigenes Klo oder Dusche sondern habe den geteilten Bereich verwendet. Die Klos waren sauber und zu den Duschen kann ich nichts sagen, da ich den Onsen verwendet habe, der genau das Richtige nach einem langen Tag auf den Beinen war. Der Onsen selbst ist auch sauber. Das war auch das erste Mal, dass ich in nem Futon geschlafen habe. War schon recht hart, daran muss man sich erstmal gewöhnen 😅 Man muss im 23 Uhr wieder beim Ryokan sein, da dieser dann schließt und man nicht mehr reinkommt. Das war mir bereits von vornherein klar und hat mir nichts ausgemacht. Die beiden Frauen die den Ryokan leiten sind auch meganett.

• Maria (8/5): - Struttura datata ma molto pulita in pieno centro, a pochi passi dalla stazione centrale. La stanza è molto grande e dotata di tavolino, armadio e minifrigo. Ho sempre trovato vuoto l'onsen, acqua molto calda, c'è anche una doccia normale. Personale molto gentile, mi hanno permesso di lasciare i bagagli prima del check in e dopo il check out. La connessione internet funziona a scatti. Il futon non è dei più comodi ma c'è di peggio, se siete alti non ci starete completamente sopra, io sono 1.68 m e avevo i piedi al pelo. Niente di grave.

• Lucrezia (8/5): Pleasant journey but the hostel has restrictive rules - The room was clean and the host really thoughtful and kind Take into consideration that from 11pm to 6:30am you cannot enter and go out from the facility!!!!!!!!! It's the first time I ever hear about this rule! So if you want to stroll in the evening you would need to go back earlier.
• Jess (10/5): Traditional gem just a 5 min walk from Kyoto station - yukata pyjamas and onsen included! Very good value. Highly recomm - Very happy I found this little cute traditional gem so close to Kyoto Station (5 min walk). It’s surprising as it feels away from the hustle/bustle despite being so close to it. The futon bed, yukata and obi, tatami mats, indoor slippers (plus bathroom slippers), onsen bath, lovely woman/staff, cleanliness and thoughtful Japanese decorations contributed to a wonderful and simple stay. There is a tea set, a kettle/thermos, TV, tissue, wardrobe and towel provided in the rooms. Could barely hear any noise from other guests as there is a double room door (room door and indoor slippers area door), which was great. Loved every bit. I stayed at more expensive and elaborate places before/after, but this place 100% had the best value for money in terms of traditional stay, service, location and comfort 🥰 thank you so much. One of my favourites!
• Feau (10/5): Can't get better value for such a clean, safe and welcoming environment. - It was a 5 minutes walk from the train station. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Honestly can't get better value for such a reasonable price. Heads up: curfew at 11pm but after a FULL DAY of walking, we were ready to head back and rest.

The ladies who run the place are very friendly and approachable. I couldn't say proper goodbye that day to them, as I was rushing to catch my Shinkansen. Just to let you ladies know I caught the train just 2 mins before departure 😃 Thank you for your warm hospitality

They allowed us to leave our baggage, which was ve - It’s very close to Kyoto station which is very good after a long walk. The appliances and toilets are a bit old, but they didn’t affect our stay. However, there is a curfew, which could impact your travel plans, especially if you prefer to leave early and visit popular spots.

• Thi Hien (10/5): I definitely will choose this one again once I visit Kyoto. - Great location, only around 200m from Kyoto station. It looks a bit old but very tidy, the room was clean everyday. The staff also very friendly. Because it’s old Japanese style building, sometime the sound proof is not that good.

• Norika (10/5): 駅から3分、懐かしい旅館 - 駅に近い。昔懐かしい雰囲気は一般的なホテルでは味わえない良さ。お風呂も布団も気持ちよかった。タイル張りの洗面流しは、ずっと残して欲しい遺産認定という趣き。古いけれど清潔感がある。 お年寄りなど階段の上り下りは大変かと思った。

• Waring (10/5): Lovely stay in a great central location! - The staff were really friendly and the Ryokan facilities were really nice. It was all good and they let us leave our bags at the property. Note the bathing hours are only in the evening and the property locks up at 11pm.

• Taishi (10/5): 大正時代の京都旅行 - 京都駅や祇園東山に程近く、交通の便も良いため、宿泊前後の京都旅行の拠点に最適。荷物を預かってもらって周辺のレンタサイクルを借りると、快適に嵐山や金閣寺、伏見稲荷大社などの神社仏閣を巡れます。 安さに対して期待しすぎですが、部屋内に洗面台やトイレがないのは知っておくべきです。
• Sylvain (10/5): Such great value for the money. - So well located, right in the center but calm and authentic Japanese. The hotel is closed from 23:00 so you have to be back on time and it was often frustrating because Kyoto nightlife seems fun.

El límite de hora a las 23:00 apenas lo notarás ya que estarás desde muy temprano descubriendo kyoto y para vida nocturna tienes Osaka y Tokyo. 1000% recomendable sin duda.

Lovely to come home after a big day exploring the city and have an onsen waiting for you downstairs! The onsen is public but we stayed for 4 nights and always had it to ourselves. Staff are really lovely and always have tea and biscuits in the room for you every evening. Simple, clean & relaxing, couldn't have asked for more! All positive

As senhoras que nos receberam foram sempre super queridas e atenciosas. As fotografias no Booking não fazem jus ao quarto - é muito melhor do que nas fotos. Foi o alojamento que mais gostei na minha estadia no Japão e voltaria sem dúvida.
