• Arlyn (9/5): Wonder view, great value just off the main road - less than 10min walk to the beach. - View of the ocean from the third floor patio, just off of the main road, AC very cold, room was spacious, included silverware and dinnerware, beds comfy. 98 steps was a bit challenging with heavy luggage. Needed to request the room be cleaned.
• CundK (10/5): 4 Nächte auf Boracay - Wir waren 4 Nächte auf Boracay und es war traumhaft. Dank vorgebuchtem Transfer über 12 go Asia vom Caticlan Airport bis zum Hotel, war die Anreise mehr als easy. Am Airport angekommen, wurden wir sofort von dem Unternehmen in Empfang genommen, mit dem Van zum Pier gebracht, die Zoll- und Bootsfahrtformalitäten für uns erledigt und auf der Insel sofort bis zum Hotel gebracht. Wie waren früher als geplant vor Ort und konnten schon einchecken. Dank der Van Fahrer wurde unser schweres Gepäck glücklicherweise die 128 Stufen bis in unser oberstes Zimmer gebracht. Das Zimmer selber war sehr sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und hatte einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer von der Terrasse vor unserem Zimmer. Uns hat es an nichts gemangelt und wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Can't believe this place has a rating over 9 and is considered "superb." - Nothing Place was hard to get to with a bunch of stairs just to get to the "office," which sucks in the heat and humidity. Rooms are small. Location of the place looked like a war zone with demolished buildings and wreckage everywhere. The thought of having to walk down and up those stairs every time you wanted to leave the room was overwhelming. We decided to just eat the loss of the cost of the room and switched to a much better hotel!

• Ian (6/5): Great location, plenty of daily exercise getting to and from the room - Large room, great view Quiet location We were warned that there were 95 stairs up to the hotel. As it turned out there were 129 stairs to our room. Certainly gave us plenty of exercise going ip and down 3-4 times a day. No breakfast available so that added an extra go on the stairs each day. Guests definitely need to be relatively fit!!

• Penelope (8/5): Very pleasant stay and attentive staff (only met one, the delightful Len, in a full week). - In spite of the many steps (which I found out about only after booking and paying) the location is good near many excellent restaurants, the room spacious, the view magnificent. They have solar panels that run the fan and lights during a brownout. They provide fresh water via dispenser, not plastic bottles. They changed my sheets and cleaned thoroughly after only four days! Also appreciated the detailed instructions how to get there from the airport. No basic offerings for morning coffee or evening cold drinks. Air con too small for the room, even during habagat (not the hottest time of year). Intermittent internet (perhaps island wide?) which wouldn’t be an issue for most people, nor would have been for me were I not there to work.

Will definitely book again when back on the Island There are a few steps up to the apartment but you have to do a little leg work for the best views. And I needed a bit of exercise ;)

• Daniel (10/5): Bellissima vista e mare stupendo - Vista bellissima, stanza enorme con balcone ancora più grande della stanza!! Gentilezza e disponibilità della proprietaria davvero apprezzabile. Situata in una zona perfetta, una volta fatta la scalinata attraversate la strada e siete già di fronte a Willy’s Rock in station 1, area sicuramente più rilassante di quello che troverete camminando 10 min più avanti nelle altre station. Niente in particolare, ma posso capire chi ha problemi a fare i gradini, che realmente sono una 90 ina, ma non sono alti. Per trovare la struttura la prima volta, io ho dato indicazione Coco Mama (ristorante) e li di fronte c’è una stradina , e dopo 50 metri c’è la scalinata! Una volta fatto sarà sempre più facile!

The room is well ventilated and washrooms were huge and clean. We loved the fact there were cloth dryers. Too many stairs to reach up so not suitable with heavy luggage. If you're travelling light then this is really good place.

• Eldar (7/5): Quite okay - Aquarius terraces are located in a quite convenient location, it's only 3 minutes away from the main road and white beach. Nearby you find some cafeteria and restaurants for a brunch and some spa salons if you want to have a massage. The rooms are quite spacious and well equiped. You shall take into consideration that to get to the Aquarius you have to climb the steps which are equal to 5 floor building. From negative points I can only remark the absence of any soundproofing. The dogs are barking in the night, almost every night, in the surroundings and it's hard to sleep.

Never saw anyone working there and no response on messages. Drinking water was empty all 3 days I stood there. Ac didn’t work but no help for that. WiFi the same.

• Lorenz (9/5): Conquest of Paradise - You have to climb your little paradise. But once you are there, you don't want to come down anymore. For sure the most spacious room you will find on Boracay. When you have a heavy suitcase, you will have to work for it.
• Julien (8/5): Great location, but no easy access - Nice room with a lot of space, big bathroom with easy access to warm water when using the shower; Very good location, only a few minutes walk from the beach, nice view to the sea from the terrace. The property can only be accessed by foot and via a very long stair with a large number of steps (the lower part of the stair is quite steep, too!) This can be extremely exhausting when carrying a heavy luggage, but most of all for persons with reduced mobility - I didn't notice any elevator or anything similar to go to the rooms.

• Christian (7/5): Decent hotel ideal for solo travellers or families/friends who are on a budget but want to stay near the beach. It w - The room is very spacious and had a huge balcony area. It’s perfect for families or friend groups. The amenities are decent with a decent view of the beach. Wifi is fast. And it is super close to Station 1 White beach. The stairs… you’ll need to walk up a very steep hill with more than 100 steps to your room. It is cardio everyday. Not ideal for elders or people with mobility issues. The pathway is also kinda dark at night but generally safe.
• Aran (8/5): totally enjoyed it and would certainly do it again - The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room and the view was awesome, its a great location and i would certainly go there again. I felt that as an establishment that everyone really cared. I was tired and grumpy when i got there but i left very chilled out and relaxed. two things hahaa there's always something. the 90 stair walk up to the resort is not so great and the out door patio could definitely do with having an overhead fan to help alleviate the heat and humidity. I live in the tropics back home so i am used to it but i know others from non tropical areas would struggle. I have been 42 years in hotel and marine tourism industry.

• Omar (10/5): Exceptional - It's the perfect place to stay in Boracay, Only 2 to 3 minutes walk to the beach. And close from station 2 and all kinds of restaurants. The room is so spacious and comfortable. The view is just amazing. The staff is so friendly. Everything was just perfect. 100% recommended.

• Will (9/5): Comfortable stay, with lovely views. - The room was very large and comfortable, with a lovely view of the sea from the terrace. Location wise, you are only 2 minute away from the beach on foot and there are cafes and restaurants nearby. If you want to get to the busier area where the market and more restaurants are, you need to walk for 10-15 mins or get a tricycle. Although the position is very good, the hotel is located at the top of a series of steps, so it might not be the best option for someone less mobile, but no issue for us in our mid 30s, when you get to the top you are rewarded with a lovely view of the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was very welcoming.
• Galina (9/5): Hotel is comfortable and situated close to the beach - Perfect hotel! It's really close to the beach and less than a couple of minutes away from good restaurants with their own lounge chairs. Comfortable room and really clean The long ladder before the entrance of the hotel isn't a problem for a young family (at least for us :)). However, it can be inconvenient for somebody else, so please be careful. The AC is a little noisy (probably due to it not being a modern model). I'm not sure if this is a problem with the hotel, however, during the week, we experienced power outages at least three times. They weren't for a long period, usually about 30 minutes.

• Donaleen (10/5): Great place for budget goers - The thing that I like the most about this location is that it is quiet at night. Resorts on the beach can get noisy at night making it hard to get to sleep. Also the rooms are spacious and well equiped for the traveler who plans on staying longer. It has a kettle, dishware and utensils and if you need something else all you have to do is ask. While the location is quiet, this would not be a resort for someone with mobility issues. There are approximately 100 stairs to go up to get to your room. Also after the sun goes down the stairs are not the most well lit. Occasionally there are brown outs and the resort does not have a generator. Finally, make sure you have an adaptor with multiple sockets as there are limited plug-ins in the room.
• Daniel (10/5): 10/10 highly recommended - We had such a great stay here! The room was spacious and cozy, the bathroom was huge and had great water pressure, and the patio had a nice table with an unbelievable view. You would be hard pressed to find another spot overlooking the island like this. As in other reviews, take note that there are many stairs that lead up to this property, but it is 100% worth it if you have no mobility issues. Also, and perhaps most importantly, the staff here is super kind, attentive, and make for such a welcoming stay. Thank you guys, see you again some time :)
• Lars (10/5): I would love to come back again. Highly Recommend it! - I really liked the room and the outdoor area. Nice big bed and the room and bathroom is big. Very nice view over White Beach. Very easy walk down to the beach, restaurants or whatever you need. Free exercise when going home. Very friendly and service minded staff/owners. I really loved this place.

Owner was super nice and even let us check out late for no extra charge as there was no one reserved for that room that evening. The view from the rooftop terrace is hard to beat. Some of the best views I have witnessed in many years of staying in hundreds of places around the world! I loved staying here, as did the 3 friends that were with me. The staff were so friendly and helpful too! Providing fresh water, towels, bathroom supplies and information when we needed! I would definitely recommend Aquarius Terraces and I will definitely look at staying here next time I’m in Boracay!

Place is spacious, clean, and it has a terrace and an area to dry our clothes. Staff are very friendly and we were allowed to cook in their beautiful kitchen. The place feels home. Nothing much. Most guest would not like the stairs going up since it was a lot of steps. But I like the exercise. :) My family don't though.

Value for money The steps going up the property was quite a challenge for my elderly mother but for the youngsters and me, it was quite a great exercise.

• Esther (10/5): Exceptional - I really love the place, overlooking the Boracay Beach. So beautiful area esp when you are on the rooftop or renting the top floor with the balcony. Dinner in a balcony is awesome with the reflected colors of sunset on the sky. The beach is just walking distance, only the problem that would not be good esp for the seniors are going up the stairs because its a little bit higher than ordinary hotel stairs, but once you get to your room its a different feeling. The staff are so nice and kind. I would love to come back again if given a chance to get a long vacation from work. Thank you Boracay!

Hard to get to, need to climb steep and dark stairs, need more solar lights coz there was blackout and no lights in property, blanket was thin so it was cold at night…need thicker comforter sheets. Add more lights outside and around garden and balcony areas.
• Leann (9/5): A perfect place for those who wants to relax. - Definitely a home away from home. We liked the room because it is tidy and cozy. It has the perfect view of the beach. For sure it has also the perfect view for sunset and sunrise, too bad it was gloomy when we visited boracay. The rooms are equipped with kitchen wares. Plus they have a water dispenser outside where you can get or refill water anytime. Also the hotel is very near to the beach. Staff that is courteous and supportive most especially ate Len who assisted us during our stay. The location was lovely and well worth the cost but the hotel's staircase hahaha. Since there are many steps to go to get to the hotel alone, climbing them can be a little exhausting, plus there’s no light at night.

• Laarni (8/5): Very good - We like the rooms, they're so spacious, we can move around the room comfortably. We also like that we can see the beach on our terrace, it is so relaxing. There's also a hot & cold shower. The stairs to the hotel.. 😆 it's a bit exhausting to climb the stairs as there's a lot of step to go to the hotel alone plus the stairs to our room which is on the 3rd floor. Also the ceiling light in one of the room is not working good thing that there still a bedside lamp.🙂

• Darryl (6/5): Beautiful Mediterranean style lodging - When we got to Boracay, we were dropped off and had to look for the hotel as there was no sign to let us know where the hotel was. When we found where we had to go, we found that we had to climb a lot of steps up to the room. The first night was OK, but the second night, the electricity went out and there was no water since it had to be pumped up to the hotel. The second night, the A/C went out so the manager got us an electric fan to cool us down. All in all, I can't recommend this place.
