• martineU_1989 (10/5): A little paradise - We stayed here with our family at the end of April and the beginning of May, traveling with our 9-month-old baby and our 2-year-old son, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience. The room was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. Every detail felt carefully thought out. The breakfast was truly amazing, with something new to enjoy every day, which made us look forward to coming down each morning. The cappuccino was simply heavenly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with everything, always going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable, and they made our stay with small children easy and enjoyable. The property itself is immaculate, like a small paradise. It is peaceful, quiet, surrounded by greenery, and everything is so beautifully maintained. They truly made our holiday perfect, and we would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

Room was lovely (in the tower!). Staff were really friendly and helpful. Thank you Francesca for looking after us in the evening! One small thing, would have liked a kettle and tea coffee making facilities in the room. Although I hasten to add, they went out of their way to supply whenever asked.

• David (10/5): Brilliant boutique hotel a short drive from San Gimingano in Tuscany. - We loved the Molino di Foci for its style, individuality, location and basically everything! Everything is in the very best possible taste from the decor to the bed linens to the pretty gardens with swimming pool and lovely terrace. The owner Luca and his wife have lovingly restored the building to a gorgeous, boutique hotel which is surprisingly affordable. The breakfasts are exceptional. The best we had in our whole touring holiday. Fantastic pastries, fruits, cereals, nuts, continental meats and cheeses, many types of bread and unlimited hot drinks. They will even rustle up a light snack in the evenings if you've had a long day out. It's extremely hard to find fault with such a lovely location. The one thing that would have made a difference would be if they had a tea/coffee making facility in the bedrooms. You can get drinks made for you during the day if you wish but they are charged extra.

• Giuseppe (10/5): Gioiellino di tranquillità ai piedi di San Gimignano - Struttura molto bella, ristrutturata, con un giardino curato e la sala per le colazioni che, con la sua vetrata totale è molto luminosa ed ha la vista sul verde. Non abbiamo potuto provare la piscina dato il periodo a cavallo tra inverno e primavera, ma ci torneremo. Stanza spaziosa, letto comodissimo e bagno ampio e pulito. Personale cordiale e disponibile, colazione completa, con a disposizione sia opzioni salate che delle deliziose opzioni dolci, come la torta con ricotta aromatizzata all'arancia. Da aggiungere un mini frigo in stanza, con qualche bottiglietta d'acqua ed eventualmente succhi di frutta/bevande. Riempire con ghiaia/breccia la strada sterrata, almeno nella parte più vicina alla struttura, in modo da ridurre la polvere che si alza col passaggio delle auto, dato che il comune non permette l'asfalto

• Silke (10/5): Wohlfühloase mitten in der Toskana - Sehr leckeres Frühstück, frischer Obstsalat, Käse, Wurst, Kuchen, Gebäck - alles, was das Herz begehrt! Die Gartenanlage und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt, ausreichend Parkplätze am Haus vorhanden (nur die Zufahrt - ca. 1,5 KM - zum Haus ist durch den Schotterweg etwas staubig). Die Eigentümer und das Personal sind alle sehr freundlich. Wir haben gleich bei der Anreise einen ausgedruckten Plan mit Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten / Parkmöglichkeiten / Restaurants (für Florenz, Siena etc.) erhalten. Perfekt! Das Zimmer welches wir hatten, war ausreichend groß, alles vorhanden (Klima im Sommer), Sauberkeit top! Am Montag, Mittwoch und Freitag gibt es ein Dinner zu welchem man sich bis 11:00 Uhr anmelden kann - alles hausgemacht - das haben wir leider versäumt, da wir lange unterwegs waren und außerhalb gegessen hatten. Ruhige Umgebung, trotzdem nah an San Gimignano (ca. 4 KM).

Lo stress della giornata è svanito grazie a un’accoglienza calorosa e professionale. Abbiamo approfittato del ristorante, con cibi gustosi dal sapore di una volta, freschi e preparati con amore, serviti sulla terrazza, con una piscina meravigliosa. Riposo eccezionale nella più completa tranquillità. Colazione ottima, con prodotti freschi e gustosi e torte appena sfornate. È stato l’albergo dove avremmo voluto restare molto di più: sicuramente il migliore della nostra vacanza in Toscana! E siamo stati anche in alberghi molto più costosi… Ci rivedremo presto, continuate così!

• Michaela (9/5): Ein wirkliches schönes Boutique Hotel mit herrlichem Garten und Pool mit herzlichen Menschen - Sehr schöne gepflegte Gartenanlage , sehr leckeres Frühstück und das Personal immer sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet( Comfort Dreibettzimmer) aber für eine Familie mit einem größerem Kind zu klein. Auch das Bad könnte etwas größer sein.

• Jenna (6/5): - Overall, a decent place to stay near San Gimignano with lovely surroundings. The property has a beautiful garden and pool are and the breakfast was decent. That said, I was frustrated with the check-in process, the receptionist was also helping in the kitchen during dinner hour, so I had to wait quite a while to be checked in. Additionally, there was no one available to help with luggage, so I ended up carrying my bags up to the second floor myself. If you’re looking for a peaceful countryside stay with pretty grounds and don’t mind a bit of self-service, it’s a fine option. But service could be more attentive and organized, especially at check-in.
• iandB2377KP (10/5): A great place to stay - We had a fantastic time in this hotel, Luca and his staff go over and above to make sure everything is superb for their guests from the rooms, the pool and gardens to the superb food. Our suite was magnificent, cool with AC, and a separate lounge sitting area. Its located only 5 minutes drive from San Gimignano but Luca offers lots of advise and tips about other places in the area to visit. An absolutely magnificent hotel, superb accommodation and guests are made to feel very special.

• Avery (10/5): Das Zimmer, der Pool waren gepflegt und sorgten für einen rundum angenehmen Aufenthalt - Das Zimmer war mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet und viele kleine Details trugen dazu bei, den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm zu gestalten. Der Pool war sauber und gepflegt, und die tägliche Instandhaltung sorgte dafür, dass alles in einwandfreiem Zustand blieb. Die “Bar” hatte lange geöffnet und rundete den Aufenthalt perfekt ab Manchmal war es schwierig, den Pool zu benutzen, wenn andere Gäste längere Zeit Ballspiele im Wasser spielten. Es wäre hilfreich, klar zu kommunizieren, dass Ballspiele beispielsweise nur außerhalb des Wassers erlaubt sind

The setting is beautiful, the location to San Gimignano is perfect. It is extremely quiet and clean and breakfast was delicious. We came back mid afternoon for a break and the staff made us pizza too! I would not hesitate to stay here if you want to enjoy your stay as much as you enjoy beautiful San Gimignano.

Tagsüber Getränke oder Snacks an den Pool oder Essbereich liefern lassen. Abends Menü, man wird verwöhnt. Das Team ist so freundlich und nett. Die Zimmer modern und sauber und werden jeden Tag gereinigt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

• K8022UWdeeb (10/5): What an amazing stay in Tuscany’s Molino di Foci! - My husband and I so enjoyed our 10-day stay with Luca, Heidi and their entire staff. From the time we checked in, everything was personalized and perfect. Luca personally explained the hotels amenities; provided a helpful map that captured suggestions on where to visit, and personally escorted us to our room. Each morning, there’s a variety of breakfast items beautifully displayed and guests can enjoy their meal on a fabulous porch overlooking the pool or in a gorgeous solarium ( glass enclosed room). There are an abundant amount of ‘snack’ options which really are light meal offerings available throughout the day and three times a week there is a 3 course meal guests can purchase and enjoy. We booked through AirBnB and frequently use this platform in Europe and America when traveling. Luca and Heidi are exceptional hosts and their property is outstanding. I would strongly recommend others to plan a stay at Molino di Foci. The property is close to many cities: Florence, Siena and endless number of towns and villages and yet is secluded and quaint.

The food was absolutely delicious, their Tuscan nights were amazing, some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Breakfast was nice and I liked the way it was different ever day. The garden is so lovely and our hotel room was lovely. We’re gutted to be home, we will definitely return. San Gimignano is only 5 minutes drive away so great location. Nothing. The only downside was there were no taxis to take you to San Gimignano but it’s easy to drive and park so wasn’t an issue.

O problema é que a partir de certo horário da noite a administração do hotel é fechada e não fica ninguém pra atender os hóspedes, como aconteceu comigo. Se você precisar de qualquer coisa, como prato, copo, um abridor, etc…esqueça a portaria fica fechada. E na minha estadia o ar condicionado não estava funcionando direito. o quarto ficava sempre muito quente. Reclamei, mas me disseram que não tinha o que fazer. Isso é ruim, porque o hote tem uma boa infraestrutura, com piscina, um jardim bem legal com muitas flores começando a abrir. Na Sei se é coisa de temporada, mas essa foi minha impressão.

• Tamas (10/5): Amazing place with heartful hospitality - Very nice location, beautiful panoramic view, close to San Gimignano (just a few minutes drive to the parking area next to the city gate). The owner very kind, speaking several languages, very helpful with informations (called the museum to get the closing time to help us able to visit in the evening or not), suggesting restaurants, circling their location on a free map. We got a room upgrade free from him, allowed us to choose ground floor or next floor room. The room was so nice, so comfortable, with adjustable heating system (we were in November), so panoramic view from window. The breakfast was amazing, our best croissant in our life we found there together with the best coffe we had during our Italian vacation. It should be a perfect place for summer holiday also, beautiful garden and pool they have. Sure we will go back soon! Everything was perfect! Nothing to mention, only good experience we had there!
