Ann (9/5): We would love to do it again! - Elena, the property owner, met us at the train station in Camucia and drove us to the house and showed us how everything works. It doesn't get any easier than that! Thanks Elena. The veranda has a view of the valley below and gets the afternoon sun so it is lovely. Beds, bathroom, closet, are all very nice. It's a bit of an uphill walk to the main piazza but then, the whole town is a bit steep as anyone can see from photos. It was good exercise and well worth the effort to spend time in lovely Cortona.
Julie (10/5): Perfect for a relaxing holiday! - Beautiful scenery, peaceful, comfortable, the host was exceptionally kind and picked us up from the train station. The town is picturesque and quiet, the apartment has a beautiful terrace, comfortable beds and is close to all sights. We would stay here again for even longer next time! We had some difficulties figuring out the thermostat/heat but managed to get it working. As it is a very old, small town you need to be mindful of electricity use and hot water use. This was no problem for us but people expecting a Western hotel experience may find this a challenge. We simply didn’t run appliances at the same time and kept showers short and it was not an issue. The beauty, kindness and peaceful surroundings are worth it.
