- Gary (10/5): Perfect and comfortable… really good nights sleep. - Location, room,Staff, food and drinks.
A lovely place that I would return to. The breakfast continental was lovely. The setting was amazing.
Please visit here! The weather !
- Campbell (10/5): We loved this hotel & will stay again - Great hotel, loved the setting & the pool & the food in the evening was excellent Nothing
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Diana (8/5): A cosy corner - Restaurant excellent. Shower didn't work properly and tan randomly in the night!
- sidney (10/5): Well worth it - Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Dinner was delicious. The room was large and the bathroom huge. Even A/C in the room. Definitely on our list for a revisit A challenge to get there as the roads are very narrow
- Keith (8/5): Lovely location . Relaxing stay. - Overall good. Friendly and helpful staff.
Room location ideal as we had a dog with us.
- JEFFREY (8/5): - Breakfast choice - good. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Carbu (8/5): - The room was the dog friendly room for three of us. The sofa bed took a lot of space up and it did make it a little difficult to get around. That was probably the only negative. The weekend breakfast which is cooked by a chef was fab. So on the weekdays where it is just continental breakfast was a bit disappointing. How wrong I was it was lovely. and plentiful. Granola fruit and yogurt, cheese ,ham, croissant, toast and pastries, choice of tea or coffee and fresh juice or water too and to be fair you can add a bacon or sausage sandwich at an extra cost. We really enjoyed it. All the staff we met were friendly, professional and courteous. The hotel is set in a quaint little village and the surroundings are really pretty. It would be a lovely setting in the summer months when you could sit outside in the gardens. Thank you for a welcome stay I didn't realise I could have asked for the swimming pool to be opened and they would willingly have obliged

- Marcus (10/5): Fabulous - Everything 👍🙏
- Marcus (9/5): - Cozy We had to leave ;)
- Elizabeth (8/5): Attractive hotel with lovely Chilterns walks from the doorstep and excellent food - We had the evening meal on both days and it was really delicious and beautifully presented. The grounds are well kept and attractive, the location is quiet and there are plenty of footpaths on the doorstep. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The swimming pool is quite small but fine for two people. Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor
- Neal (7/5): -
- Monia (9/5): Comfortabele overnachting en vriendelijk personeel - Mooie, goed onderhouden locatie.
- Alisha (10/5): A hidden gem - Everything was perfect. The location just beautiful, the hotel clean and the food very delicious. The pool was just the perfect addition and the staff were all so super nice and attentive. Special thanks to Malorie & Sam for making our stay so lovely Everything was perfect. We'll be back for sure!
- sally (10/5): -
- Rukia (9/5): A little piece of paradise. - Room was warm and clean. Breakfast was okay, it was included in the price so fine. The pool was lovely, but they need to make it more clear that it is for residents. The location was fabulous, would be nice to have more information on walks. Breakfast was very basic, but okay... It was a shame because everything else was lovely. I didn't like that the pool area was so busy with drinkers that it felt uncomfortable to go in the pool....These a small things in comparison to everything else. Staff were lovely, room was lovely, venue was beautiful.
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Kerry (10/5): Perfect country stop on route to London - Really friendly staff ,lovely cosy room and welcoming bar / restaurant

- Craig (10/5): - Really nice place, friendly staff and lovely rooms
- Gillian (8/5): Comfortable, would stay again - Nice location, quiet, comfortable.
- Simon (10/5): Tucked away in a beautiful village. - You know how some inns are pubs with rooms tacked on? You know how (probably because the world has gone crazy and business is unpredictable) many pubs and inns are a bit tatty? Not The Inn on the Green.
The welcome from the staff - ALL staff - was warm.
The place is immaculate, right down to the crystal clear swimming pool (!!) and the manicured lawns to the rear.
When I said I'd need to leave each day before the 8am start of breakfast, I was immediately offered a continental breakfast to pop in my room's fridge each evening.
I could go on and on:
- Functioning EV chargers in the large, clean carpark
- Cosy, comfy room
- Stunning location
- THE BEST scotch egg I've ever eaten
10/10 from me.
- Abbey (8/5): Perfect - It’s rural clean good facilities massive bed. Nothing about the property just had live music and with a baby we could hear it but was staying outside so wasn’t as intense.
- nigel (8/5): -
- Laura (8/5): - Staff were very helpful Pool pump made a lot of noise so should be put on a timer to go off at night
- Harrison (10/5): - Nothing, every element was fantastic
- colin (10/5): a hidden gem. - this hotel is a hidden gem yes a bit hard to find but boy is it worth it,the staff are superb especially mallory and Charlotte, and a special mention to chef sam,the food was superb and very good on price location great, rooms great, beer great, don't hesitate in booking this hotel. there is nothing to dislike.
- Francesca (9/5): - Lovely little room, very cosy and comfortable. Great continental breakfast included. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
- Jamie (10/5): Relaxing and perfect, as we expect and always receive. Booking soon again for later in year. - Stay was perfect as it always is. Received room upgrade which was welcome and unexpected. Staff friendly as usual, with breakfast just enouugh to start the day.
- James (10/5): -
- David (8/5): -
- Matt (8/5): -
- Emma (7/5): Comfortable for what we needed as a place to crash for the night. - Lovely hotel in a beautiful rural location. Half an hour to walk to the nearest town, or 5-10 minutes by car. We stayed in their smallest room which was comfortable and peaceful. The shower was hot and powerful and left you feeling nice and clean. Staff were polite and helpful.
Continental breakfast included with the room and could be upgraded to a cooked breakfast on the weekends for an additional cost. The room wasn't the cleanest in places - I walked from my shower back to my bed and my feet were filthy again from the floor, and I could see bits of muck here and there. Generally it was well kept for the most part though.
The heating was also a bit hit and miss. The bathroom radiator worked fine but we couldn't get the one in our room to work so we had a mini heater instead which wasn't ideal when we had big towels to dry, but it did keep the room warm.
The shower itself in the bathroom was very powerful, which was great, however whoever designed the shower clearly didn't factor in water spray and with every shower, the tiny glass divide did nothing to stop the shower flooding the floors (which had a drainage hole in, I'm guessing for this exact reason).
- Roxana (10/5): We upgraded our stay to the suite at the last minute and it was a perfect decision!! Our room was outstanding, the staff - Our room was exceptional! The whole building was stunning Nothing
- Ian (9/5): Lovely place, I would imagine it's great in the summer as it has a pool. Enjoyable - Breakfast was good a full english. A magnifying mirror in the room would have been great
- leah (8/5): Pleasant cosy pub area to have a drink before I went back to my room. Very comfy bed, warm enough and felt safe for a so - Felt cosy, comfy beds and well equipped with enough hanging space and mirrors in room. Shower was a bit small.
- Kirsty (10/5): -
- Andrea (9/5): -
- Jacqueline (9/5): Its was a reall enjoyable stay. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and room and facilities were amazing - Such a beautiful hotel and the pool was great air con was so loud we couldn't use
- Jane (10/5): -
- Oliver (8/5): - Very Helpful Staff,Room exceptional!!.

- sharon (9/5): -
- Nicola (8/5): Comfy and convenient - Great location, spacious bedroom. Very good croissants!! Friendly staff. Not all bedrooms are as nice as each other. The first had a very squeaky bed and an odd emergency exit light on but the second was much bigger and more comfortable.
- Rick (10/5): -
- Helen (10/5): - The staff were excellent help beautiful all round
- Sandra (10/5): Perfect place for a romantic break lovely area would definitely return - Lovely property stayed for a night for a mini break nice food staff lovely Nothing
- Mark (10/5): -
- Dean (10/5): Really nice room and pub , good food and nice staff , will 100% return - Beautiful room , pub and site
- Mattia (8/5): Lovely place where to stay with excellent pub food! - Lovely location with well-kept and clean rooms. The pub nearby is also very nice with excellent food (especially the mushroom burger!). The staff is very kind and helpful! The swimming pool was closed for the winter but I imagine being very nice during the summer. The room was a bit cold, and I had to use the provided portable heater. The breakfast is served from 08.00, so if you are there for work reasons, it is inconvenient; however, they arranged a takeaway breakfast which was lovely.
- Ross (8/5): Love the staff and location -
- bryan (6/5): Should have been better - Lovely place in the countryside Room was draughty and not cleaned very well.
We paid extra for cooked breakfast but was disappointed as it was mostly cold and the woman who served us was very moody.
- Brooker (8/5): Very relaxed, staff brilliant and the room spacious.great location for many good eating and drinking establishments in a - The views, size of the room, staff and continental breakfast included in price No
- Annette (10/5): -
- Adam (10/5): -
- Steven (6/5): Comfortable, but dated - The room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Bathroom was very dated with lots of minor repairs to tiles and grout. Only one small light in the bathroom and no illuminated mirror or window for additional lighting. Breakfast service only available from 8:00am, so as a business traveller it didn’t work!!
- Sophie (10/5): -
- Heaven (6/5): Tired and in need of updating - Pretty inn set on a green in a beautiful area. Helpful staff Unfortunately there was no heating in our room and it was a very cold night. The whole place also looks quite tired with a very pot holed driveway and old fashioned furnishings
- Ian (10/5): - Been here several times Nice clean rooms and helpful stafff
- Jamie (10/5): - Location
- Jamie (10/5): - Location
- Steven (9/5): Perfect place to enjoy a quite birthday with my wife. - Everything here blends really well together. Our room was next to the restaurant/bar. It was a little on the small side but it still suited us and very comfortable bed. Spotless. Dog friendly. Bar is very welcoming. Met some very lovely locals, including a wonderful ex para who kindly bought my wife and I a round of drinks and look forward next time to buying him one back! Its in the heart of the countryside. Plenty of amazing walks apparently. Staff were super nice. Lastly, I love cooking. I also love a Roast. Its by far the nicest roast I have ever had!! My wife and I have agreed to return to celebrate my birthday here again. x No. All good. No complaints.
- Gordon (9/5): A weekend away, to relax and see the area. - Lovely building inside and outside. Very good facilities. No complaints about the property.
- Christine (8/5): -
- Philip (8/5): -
- Shaima (8/5): Little gem in the village - Loved the ambience, the lights really brought out the inns charm
Grounds were well maintained
Staff were really friendly
Location was cute to get to Shower head was a little bit funny in the suite, would spray water
There wasn't any toothbrush provided in the suite although there was bathrobes and shampoos
Mattress was very bubbly, woke up with a bad back
- Jane (8/5): A comfortable stay - A cosy, friendly, clean, small hotel with lovely staff Not very well lit at night in pool & courtyard area, & a couple of steps and slopes, so a little challenging for anyone with mobility difficulties.
- Nicholas (8/5): -
- Graham (8/5): Highly recommend - Easy to find, pleasant welcoming staff, comfortable bed, amazing walk in shower and FANTASTIC FOOD!! they have a great chef so dining here is highly recommended. 5⭐️ In the bedroom there was a green exit light above the door, I get that it’s a safety feature but it was so bright we had to hang a coat over it to get to sleep.
A minor thing and we would definitely stay here again 100%.
- Joshua (10/5): Perfect, will 100% be staying again - Everything about this place is amazing ❤️
- Faraz (8/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Cosy stay with great food, close to Cookham town centre - Loved this hotel - great cosy bar and an easy taxi ride into Cookham. Rooms clean and decorated well - ours had a large bathtub in the room. Loved the heated pool. Nothing
- Laura (8/5): -
- DENYSE (5/5): -
- Faye (8/5): Perfect night away for two! - Room size, Bathroom having shower and bath, Bar and restaurant, garden and pool. Green Exit light on in room all night. Uncomfortable mattress.
- Charlotte (10/5): Welcoming pub stay with great atmosphere - Room was nice and food in the pub was great. Lovely continental breakfast included in the price.
- Ann (8/5): - Clean room...very friendly staff particularly at breakfast. Bar area was a little quiet, but it was mid-week.
Didn't eat dinner there as the restaurant had quite a limited menu for us and again the restaurant was very quiet, perhaps due to low hotel occupancy.
- Ross (9/5): Brilliant - will stay again. - great stay – very quirky place and lovely staff – Louise & Natalie were very welcoming and ensured we were being looked after I scored very low in their Pub Quiz
- Keith (10/5): Excellent hotel and pub - The Inn on the Green was a lovely place to spend the night. The room had everything we needed and having the pub to relax in / have a meal was a real bonus. Would definitely recommend.
- Tristan (8/5): - Excellent breakfast, lovely setting, and some nice walks nearby. It was lovely to spend time by the pool in the morning. There was a wedding party using the pool area on the afternoon we arrived, so we couldn't use it then. This was probably the reason we got a discount on booking, but we didn't know this would be the case when deciding to book.
