• Deep (4/5): OK-ish City, Great Stay, Not So Great Staff/Location - The room was very well designed.. Had absolutely everything, absolutely no complains there.. but... 1) Location.. Not sure why I ended up booking this location, quite odd place from bus station, and very far from Quay. 2) Staff. I needed an early morning cab to airport, and seeing the oppurtnity I was told that i need to give 2.5 times the rate :)... I btw manged to get one, from my contact. Next, I was for sure charged around £20 extra.. and no one cared to address or explain it.. anyways, I gave up :)
• Nick (7/5): Reasonable for a one night stop. - Convenient location for the town. We were picked up from the airport and asked to pay 20 US, which was reasonable. I expected to pay the same for our ride to Jolly Harbour the next day as the distance is similar. But when we enquired we were told it would be 50 US ! We picked up a taxi on the street which charged 20.

• Michael (9/5): I had a pleasant stay and got help from the staff were needed. - I liked the friendliness off the place and the staff. It was well maintained and a safe place to stay in. Don't know maybe a timer on the air-conditioning.
• Per (1/5): Undvik detta ställe! - Inget fel på rummet. Ägaren tog pengar från mitt kreditkort efter vår vistelse! Han har manuellt skrivit in siffrorna och sedan tagit en godtycklig summa. Han bedriver även en taxiverksamhet men höll sig undan när vi skulle betala taxiresan kontant. Han har tagit en extra summa för en annan taxiresa där vi hade ett överenskommet pris. Även vad gäller boendet har han lagt på en summa. Så priset vi fick från Booking stämde inte.
• ajinta (8/5): Quiet little place - Friendly owner, clean place, comfortable bed, basic kitchen appliances in the room, as well as in the shared kitchen. Nice little outside seating areas. Quiet location, walking distance to the ferry. You can also rent a car from the owner should you need one. Not much space in the room to move around, the on suite bathroom was a bit uncomfortable (really just a lil plastic box in the room, kinda see thru and if you wanna take a shower, everything gets wet and the room gets humid) so we opted for the shared bathroom in the hallway. The fan in the shared kitchen didn't work and there aren't many plates/bowls etc.

• Random (4/5): Lovely apartments, but a few problems and clarify everything upfront and double-check all cost. - N/A The apartments were very nice and well-prepared when the maid was working, but the service left a lot to be desired. I booked three apartments for six people over two separate stays. The owner arranged a taxi but arrived with a four-seater, blaming licensing issues, despite Tortola being full of larger vehicles. He also informed us, only at pickup, that our family would be split up because previous guests extended their stay. The alternative apartment was not "close by" as claimed but required a cab ride. The rooms, all of which were booked for 2 people, had 1 towel and 1 flannel. We were to learn on our second stay that you have to ask if you want more. During the first stay, we had no hot water and a blocked toilet; during the second, there was no water at all later on the first evening until the next day. Some in our group booked a trip to Stingray City through the owner for $60, but were later charged an unexpected $160 for transport. After that, we found a professional six-seater taxi driver who charged half the owner’s rates. Upon checkout, the owner tried to get me to sign two credit card receipts for an unrecognised amount significantly higher than the rental cost, claiming it was payment. I pointed out that he had been paid in January, the amount was different and he had provided no details of how he reached the amount. He persisted until I pointed out that, if I signed the receipts, I would in effect be approving a further payment (of $1200) at which point he backed off. In short: lovely apartments, but be careful and clarify everything upfront and double-check all costs.

• Herbert (1/5): just a horreur - This owner is a thief, he pretexted the rooms where all rented, drove me to another locations, and asked me to pay more, when i said, i do not agree, he threw me out of the house and i had to walk about three miles, to fond a police car, who helped me to find another hotel, his excuse that the credit card didn't work is invented!! Prices in Antigua are higher than San Francisco or New York City. Reasonable cost. Daily housekeeping by Jasmine, a very friendly person.
• Hana (2/5): TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - Would NEVER stay with this host again! - Clean room with decent amenities. Reasonably close to the centre. Host was an hour late picking me up at airport even though I messaged and emailed 3 times with my arrival details and was told he would be there. I wanted to take my own taxi but he told me to wait. When he eventually arrived that hour later - and without any prior warning or communication - he tried to take me to a different accommodation from the one I had booked. Apparently my original room had recently been fumigated but the other location was way out on the outskirts of town and twice as far from the centre than the original place. It would have been a huge inconvenience. A big argument ensued and I was finally brought back to the room I had booked. I got the keys and went out but when I returned I couldn't get into the house because the host had failed to tell me that I also needed a door code! So from outside the house I tried to call and message him but no answer. I ended up having to go around to the back of the house and knock on another guest's window (luckily they were in) to let me in. The host eventually showed up but not until an hour or so later. He agreed to refund me $20 for the botched pick-up but then cancelled my reservation on Booking.com so that 'he doesn't lose money' (he said) and (I think) also probably to avoid my posting this review. On top of all this the hot water wasn't working and of the two showers I took there I only had hot water for max 2 minutes total. (The other guests said they experienced the same.) All in all this was a truly awful experience and way overpriced given the almost no hot water situation, terrible pick-up service and overall dealings with the host. Oh, and did I mention the neighborhood roosters making noise outside from about 4am onwards ... ?

• Janice (1/5): A night of hell - stay clear!!! - This was a one man show - On arrival the owner of the property was the only "staff" I interacted with. The toilet was locked and I had to call the owner to unlock the toilet door. There was little toilet paper for use - the owner had to come the next morning to bring toilet paper. The sheet on the bed itched like crazy, letting me know that they were dirty! I got no sleep on that nasty sheet and had to go for an early morning sea bath to rid myself of the itchiness. Thank goodness my stay was for only one night! This stay cost TT$ 681. plus TT200. for shuttle service (Pain in USD 120.00 total) a tidy sum for such poor quality facility and service - Never again!!!

• Jiri (3/5): Not cozy and not eko - It's not in the downtown but you can walk to the downtown Well, I have quite mixed feelings about this accommodation. It's not cozy at all and it's not budget at all. But perhaps almost everything is extremely expensive in Antigua. Definitely, everything is expensive in this property and I had a feeling of a greed there.

There was no complementary tea or coffee one could have on arrival or in the morning. If you are going to this property and will need a drink please remember to pack your tea, coffee & coffee mate 😕😊 as you can’t just pop round the corner for a drink. Property manager Prince was very pleasant, helpful and kind. Oh and remember your two pin adapter (flat pin) to change your phone if required. Would I stay there again yes if I can have my tea/coffee & breakfast in the morning 😁.

• Verified traveler (2/5): AVOID!! Hotel Charged Me Twice - The owner charged my credit card twice for a single booking! The booking was listed as payment to be made directly to the hotel. They took the full payment at the time of booking. They then put a hold charge of the full amount on my card again at the time of check in and when I checked out they processed the payment. So I have paid twice for the same booking. I also paid for an airport transfer at the time of booking but I waited for 45 minutes at the airport and nobody arrived and they would not return this payment either.

• Calvin (1/5): Bad - bed to sleep on THE HARASSMENT FROM THE LIASON!! Harassed friend who was helping with bags to room to show ID and was basically spying on my movements through the security cameras. WHY THE HELL MUST NO ONE WAIT ON THE PREMISES WHILE YOU GET READY???
• Pundit Ravi (4/5): - While the place was clean it was most definitely not what expected. It's a house with 3 bedrooms, kitchen toilet and bath which means you've booked just a small bedroom barely able to move around and you have to share the bathroom and everything else with all the other renters. Not ideal at all

• Albert (5/5): ANUBANU - The place was clean and abit comfortable and quiet. Not too far from town. I was over charged even though I was the only guest. Requested breakfast, taxi, kitchen. £361 given price but there were hidden charges which I didn't get a bill for??? £403.53 why. I didn't like the fact that I paid an extra $ 25 US for taxi just to be shared with others. I didn't get what I requested ie breakfast, taxi... So I am requesting a refund!

• Monica (10/5): Perfect location for a good price - Location, cleanliness, my host Prince was super nice, god bed/madrass, tv with Netflix, air conditioner, calm place in Antigua The crickets outside the house. Could't sleep. Had to use hearing protection (Prince provides it to you). The neighbor has to cut the gress.

• Mariela (4/5): - Only about the surrounding noise, it could be justified by the location right into the city. But the biggest problem is that YOU GET MUCH LESS THAN ADVERTIZED. We booked for "a studio, including complete bathroom and a private kitchenette".That was a lie ! This place has 3 bedrooms, two of them each with a small fridge and small micro-waves (like any bedroom has elsewhere), that SHARE a common kitchen with no dining table, but just a narrow counter instead. There is a picnic table outside; but under bad weather, you end sitting on your bed with your plate on your hands. And concerning the "complete bathroom", it's rather an added glass cubicle of 1,5 m2 with a toilet and a shower that splashes all around. We met other guests whith similar complaints about having found NOT WHAT THE PLACE ADVERTIZES. Antigua-and-Barbuda offers plenty of nice accomodations, managed by honest owners. But steer clear from that EKO-COZY reef !
• Sooparlie (7/5): Top value for money. - Excellent for overnighting when compared with others for locality, transport and convenient proximity to St. Johns.
• Gus (7/5): Good place to stay - Great staff, clean and comfortable Far from everything, car is needed if you choose this location
• Nicole (6/5): My stay was comfortable - The house was clean and modern. Not given enough towels. Only had one towel in the room and it was 2 of us. No tea or coffee was provided.

• George (3/5): A one star stay if you are in a budget. - It’s an okay place for the cost but the location is not. The bathroom stall toilet shower combo inside the room did not like. Inappropriate if sharing room. No vent. The room has two beds but they only make one bed for you. They asked More money to have second bed made. Created an unpleasant argument. It’s a shared house, there was another party in the other room.

• Jacqueline (10/5): - Absolutely the Bed!!! Prince was a Fantastic Host! As we entered into the doors we noticed how clean it was. There after we saw the amazing ceiling fan along with a AC and beautiful colours inside the unit. The bed was sooo comfortable. We would definitely Stay there again and assure anyone that likes a extremely clean place and a great bed Eko Cozy Guest House is the Place 💯

• John (10/5): Exceptional - The staff are awesome, especially Mr Prince, he did everything to make our stay very accommodating, he picked us up from the airport, he's in time, also he gave us a lot of options regarding tours, you can use his taxi services or take a bus at the west bus station if you are on budget, the guesthouse is right in st John's, no taxi needed to go anywhere in st John's. Our stay was beautiful. Nothing

• latine (10/5): Pleasant Stay - Had a pleasant stay. I appreciated the owner's diligence in maintaining a clean environment. Also, the owner was responsive to any arising issue which wasn't many. The homes' location was within walking distance of the places that I wanted to visit. Walking distance to the heart of the tourist area but wear decent shoes for walking. The only negative were the locks, of which there were three and none were marked so it was always trial and error until I memorized which key belonged to which lock.
• Romeo (8/5): Antigua Business trip - Overall was a good accommodation, friendly owner, description of multiple beds needs to be precised that you have to pay for the extra bed in the room ! Owner also has a car rental so we rented with him one-time. Location was very close to everything we needed to visit downtown for Our business trip. I would stay again.
• Toulon (5/5): I won't book it again. - the bed that's it. I was very much surprised when I walked into the room and saw the face basin and the toilet is inside of the shower itself. So when I am showering the toilet is getting wet on my side and the face basin is right in front of me where I am standing under the shower. I have been traveling for work for the past 17 years and have never come across something like this. I must say, the comfort of the bed was very good. I had a small kitchenette in my room. Also, I was not expecting to have workers painting and doing renovation right outside of my room so much so that when I walked out of my room the scent of the paint hit me right in the face. My advise is that if you are doing renovations to your place, hold of on all bookings until you are done because everyone might not be able to take the scent of that cemical. If someone is living on the island they can book a room there but not if you pay for a flight to travel.

• William (7/5): Convenient spot for a short stay - It was definitely in a good spot. Lots of stuff around and easy to get to the airport. Definitely a good value for the island. Neighborhood is a little loud. Was fine for a one night layover, but wouldn't want to stay longer.

We booked a room for 3 with a child as the specific reason the place was booked because it said children will be free. When we came he acted surprised like he didn’t know we booked a child. Breakfast was also to be included as per our booking confirmation.. He advised that breakfast was only included for one person and we booked for 3. I am not satisfied with our stay and we would like a refund for providing/advertising false information regarding the stay.

• Anonymous (8/5): Good stay, although quite a few mosquitos. - The property was nicely decorated. Good air conditioning for the really hot days. Not much too not like. Just a lot of mosquitos and they came in regardless of whether the door was open or not.
