Perfect location less than a block from historic Duvall street, but quiet inside. Staff is super friendly and focused on what it takes to make the stay fun! Highly recommend!

Robert (10/5): Perfect Couples Getaway - We came for a two night first time visit to Key West. It's a great Bed and Continent Breakfast place. Great staff and we lucked out with an early check-in after a sunrise drive from Miami. We accidentally missed an item in the room while checking. Got a text from the managers who offered to mail it. That's was a great offer because orher places would have just held it and kept it for themselves. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. It was a great place to stay.
Leah (8/5): - This property is incredibly charming and impeccably decorated! Love the bright colors. Staff is friendly and breakfast is tasty. The size of the room we got, which was the one just outside the pool, felt very cramped. My husband and I kept bumping our legs on the corners of the bed to walk from one side of the room to the other. Also, the reed diffuser in the room had a suffocatingly strong scent. Parking is limited although the guest house does make an effort to give a map and clear directions as to how to get to the designated parking spot.

We were only feet from Duval Street for easy access to shops/restaurants. The room was beautifully decorated and quiet at night even though we were so close to Duval Street. I would definitely recommend Marreros for anyone looking to stay in Key west!

Frangina (10/5): Historic, modern, and eclectic - This place is right off Duval street but not loud or crazy. Everything was in walking distance, we didn’t move the car once! The place is beautiful, just like the pictures! It still has all the original beauty of the house and yet it’s still so modern and eclectic. Since it was a home just know there are imperfections that make it unique. The bathrooms are not super updated and our door to it didn’t shut all the way but we worked with it. Everybody was super nice and welcoming and I would 100% stay again. If you’re on the fence about staying here just know it’s a wonderful choice and you’ll love it!

The staff were all very friendly, and the pool area, although small, was nice to take an afternoon dip. They offered free water/sodas and there an honor bar with beer, wine, etc. The hotel itself has an antique/eclectic feel and pretty well cared for. Cons: The room was nice, comfortable enough (although the bathroom is dated) but for the price, it would have been nice to have daily housekeeping (I did ask). All in all, great place to stay and so convenient to Duval shops, restaurants, marinas, etc!!

Pool is cozy and secluded. Overall excellent stay. Highly recommend it.

Great staff, beautiful historic building with a comfortable sized pool. Located half a block from Duval St, but away from the noise of the bars. Andre (8/5): - This is an old mansion which is very unique. Happy Hour at 3pm. Our room was very comfortable for the little amount of time we were in it. You can walk to most places or rent a scooter to get around. Only downside was the remodeling work they where doing but it was off season so that is best time for them to do it.

Cassidy at the front desk bent over backwards and more than compensated for the inconvenience. The beds were super comfy, the saltwater pool was amazing, happy hour was generous and longggg! The location is great. We parked when we arrived and didn't get back in the car until we headed home. I would stay here again.

Brian (2/5): It Sucks - Absolute disaster!!!! The idiots never told me how bad it was gonna be. Id love to read the stupid irresponsible owners response to this. They decide to remodel the place while letting "guests " stay at the same time. I booked 6 nights, didn't even make it 4. I demanded a refund but got the whole runaround about how i had to do it through hotels.com. i had workers in my room while i slept, no showering for at least 1 night, hammering after 8 pm added to the stupid BS they told me on the phone. I was told there would be noise during the day and no pool and painting when i was "warned " about it on the phone.That was all i was told. I got only 2 nights refund but deserved a full refund. The new owners are horrible, irresponsible and ignorant. If you stayed here before you wont understand this but its new now and the losers who own this place now dont care. Key west is an awesome city, dont stay here, Stay somewhere else!!!

Honor bar by the pool, clean rooms with A/C and fan (in the room I was in). Cable tv channels if you need them. Literally everything is within walking distance (restaurants, groceries, bars, etc). Scooter, bike, and golf cart rentals are walking distance as well. 5 out of 5 stars
Ashley (10/5): 10/10 Recommend - Room was super nice and clean. Loved the balcony and just relaxing out there. Only thing to know ahead of time is there are only a few reservable parking spots for the hotel. If you do not get one there is a parking lot close by behind the hotel so no big deal. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do so that was a huge plus!

Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice and interesting landmark home/mansion. It is a lovely old mansion. There is a lot of character and an interesting history. They have maintained the character of the home, which is over 130 years old. In our room, the bathroom was a bit small. However, it was more than made up for by the friendly staff and staying in a cool historic mansion.
Donald (6/5): Nice location poor A/C - The location was perfect to enjoy the activities on Duval Street. The staff was very nice and the pool was beautiful. The issue we had was the A/C in the room did not work well. This issue caused the nights to be unpleasant due to the high temperatures.
Kyle (8/5): Perfect low-key accomodations! - Excellent location! Half a block off Duval. Auxillary off-street parking available first-come-first served at a cost of $25. Super friendly staff, very accommodating. Our room was the smallest I've ever stayed in with a shared bath, but we only slept and showered there anyways. Nice continental breakfast, cold a/c, quaint accomodations. Nice, private backyard pool area that is open 24 hours. Will definitely stay here again, but will upgrade to a second floor room or private pool house with a private bath.

Sara (10/5): Feels Like Staying with Friends - Excellent stay! Marrero's Guest Masion feels like a B&B and is classic Key West. The accommodations are a bit dated in some ways, but the warmth of the staff, the convenience of the location, and the beauty of the mansion more than make up for it. It feels more like staying with friends than staying in a hotel. Parking was close and easy. The location could not be better - as close as you can be to Duval Street without the craziness right outside your door. When booking, make sure you know which room you're getting - they are all different. We (intentionally) booked a very small room and were very happy with it. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to return!

Verified traveler (10/5): - I so enjoyed Laura & Cassidy. They were always willing to help and guide. We were in Key West for a wedding. Other couples staying at various places , spoke of moldiness, dirty sheets, dirty rooms. I was so hsppy to report our clean roons and property.

Check in was easy, and we really liked the pool and breakfast. Our only complaint would be the bathroom in our room was TINY, but still functional and we enjoyed our stay.

And the location was perfect. Just 1/2 block off duval halfway down the strip! Comfortable beds, and cold ac. The breakfast was nice as well!

Verified traveler (10/5): - I spent two nights at this beautiful historic B&B mansion with a friend. We were so thrilled with the grounds, the home, the pool area and the staff. Wine Happy hour everyday at 3:30, a beautifully setup continental breakfast each morning, taken on the viranda, if so desired, and so conveniently located to Duval street, that you don't need transportation to enjoy the action. Our room was quaint and very small ( our choice to make our budget work), but have no complaints about it, really. I rather enjoyed the loft bed! Our stay was a real joy, and we would definitely stay there again. The 21 and over requirement for staying there was a plus, lending itself to a relaxing, quiet experience! A

Samita (10/5): Will definitely be back - The room was very beautiful and just what we need. The establishment was very beautiful. The service was very great. Cassidy went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I had to work the day of my arrival and she makes sure I got a great spot and checked me into my room as early as I could. Lauren is also another wonderful staff. She helps us with everything on our departure day.
Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was amazing, especially Laura! The first room they had us in the AC did not work properly so they immediately upgraded and moved us into our new, beautiful room. Location is centrally located to Duvall street. We literally walked everywhere! It is a B&B so breakfast was included; however, I would say grab breakfast elsewhere. Their breakfast is more of a continental style with bagels, muffins, cereal, etc. and did not seem that fresh. All-in-All, I would recommend this this property for a weekend trip.
MsTatikut .. (10/5): We like our time there - Over all we r happy customers.We did enjoy our room 12, next to the pool(guest house). There was something wrong with our bed, it was a drop in the ocean compare to fun what we have had. Wonderful pool, warm water in it. Quite house .Clean.Nice decoration around the pool. Amazing location!!!!

Building itself is very cute and provides quite a few amenities. It is an old building so some of the rooms are an awkward in between size, the floors lean a certain way, etc. Aside from that, the staff was very kind and helpful.
