Guest Reviews
- Nikolov (9/5): peaceful and relaxing stay with a nice view from the rooftop - location is very quiet compared to the rest of marrakech, hidden entrance and peaceful atmosphere everything was amazing except one unexpected interaction with a giant brown cockroach!
- Wouter (9/5): -

- Maria Helena (10/5): Great experience to stay in a typical riad. - The location was excellent, easy to get to the restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious with juice, coffee, tea, bread, pancakes, honey, jams... Everything was really nice.
The host was very attentive and knowledgeable about Moroccan History. On google maps it doesn't show the address properly, but they have someone on the road nearby to guide you.

- Omayma (10/5): - This riad is lovely and very close to Jemaa el fnaa square. Very convenient to everything especially the souks. Breakfast is provided by the lovely staff. The riad is clean, private and aesthetically pleasing. I highly recommend!
- Monique (9/5): Superb - Nadir is a wonderful host. Delicious breakfast and provided a washing service free of charge. We had a beautiful room and the riad is nice and quiet and very well located to access the northern attractions in the Medina. A few things need some maintenance.
- Butel (10/5): Clean, quiet, comfortable, beautiful, helpful - We had a fantastic time at Nadir home, the location was perfect walking distance everywhere we wanted to go, it was quiet, clean & so beautiful inside. The breakfast was also amazing & Nadir is such a kind and helpful host. He helped us get a taxi from the airport and stayed up until 11pm to help us find the property by meeting us outside and walking with us there. Would highly recommend staying here!
- Sona (9/5): Superb - The location of this riad was excellent. It's a few steps away from major sights like the Ben Youssef madrasa. It's located at the end of several long, narrow alleys so may not be easy to find in your own but I was able to navigate it easily after the owner showed it to me for the first time. The riad itself is beautiful, well-kept and clean. The room was comfortable too. The owner was super helpful and courteous.
- Ruby (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely owner, great breakfast and very scenic It’s quite hard to find
- Coralie (7/5): Good -
- Zita Kaluba (10/5): - We had a wonderful time there. The breakfast was delicious, and the host was very friendly to us. We always felt safe during our stay.
- Chelsea (10/5): - Quaint, traditional Moroccan guesthouse in the medina, near attractions, dining and plenty of shopping, medina-style. Nadir was a great host, quickly providing WIFI info, suggestions for nearby dining, and a delicious breakfast, freshly prepared. I felt safe, secure, and thrilled to hear the call to prayer in the morning, a unique experience.
- Yenka (10/5): - Beautiful home, Nadir is very kind and welcoming.
- Christopher (10/5): - Loved the traditional feel of the road was so beautiful
- Juliana (10/5): Amazing stay in Marrakesh - Perfect place to stay in Marrakesh!! The traditional room is big and the style is impeccable. The breakfast was also very good. The owner was always available for us to answer questions and give recommendations. The location was exceptional, in the middle of the old town but very calm.
- Gwóźdź (10/5): Exceptional - We spend at Nadir home 7days. Place is very clean and owner amazing. All time they take care about us and help with every problems. We feel safe and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Hotel is situated in very good area close to most touristic attractions. Highly recommend ❤️
For me 10/10
Hope to see you soon again. Everything was perfect
- Rita (10/5): Would definitely recommend! - Nadir’s home was perfect for a 2-day visit with my parents. The place is peaceful, beautifully decorated and immerse in the heart of the Medina.
The breakfast is simply delicious, with lots of Moroccan flavors.
Nadir is a great host, it was a pleasure to meet you and we’re looking forward to come back. Although it isn’t easy to find, the fact that is a “hidden” Riad helps it to be very silent.
- Leigh (8/5): Very good -
- Bilal (10/5): - Amazing stay. Very welcoming host.
Will definitely recommend.
It was slightly difficult to find the riad at first, for which you just have to call the host. He will kindly guide you.
Convenient - very close to madrassa ben Yousuf and musee de marakech. 15 mins walk to souks and jmaa el fnaa
- Stevie (8/5): We had a lovely time and our host Abderahim was very helpful and courteous - Generous sized and varied breakfast
- Barry John (6/5): - The Nadir Home is basic accommodation compared with other riads I have stayed in.
Firstly, it's very difficult to find, down a long series of twisting alleyways which turn into low tunnels at some points (not very inviting). Returning after dark was not too bad for me and my adult son, but might be more trying for lone women or anyone with children. In the late evening, the souks are full of youths offering to 'guide' you and then demanding money.
The breakfast is as basic as the property. Coffee and a few pancakes/toast and jam/honey. Er, that's it.
The shower is a handheld affair and there is NO LOCK (at all!) to your room.
That said, it was clean, the beds were comfy and the host was reasonably helpful (although his English is limited).
- Georgia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oleg (10/5): Great location, traditional home, simple and very clean. - Friendly owner Abderrahim and always willing to give you extra information and help on anything you ask.
He will be able to arrange taxi for you (ask in advance) or if you are coming on your own, just pass his number to a taxi driver and he will precisely explain the driver where to go and then pick you up too.
Location might seems difficult from start, but this is because you are not used to and you never will if you dont live if Morroco, as its nothing to compare to this very unique city. After one day you will easy find this place as everything is near by.
Greeting from Cyprus
- Edgardo (9/5): Highly reccomended - Delicious Moroccan style breakfast. Host is the kindest person ever. Location in the medina is very convenient, a bit complicated to find in the beginning but once you know the way is ok. The whole medina is quite overwhelming but that's what you expect when in Morocco, innit?
- Isabella (5/5): Once the repairs for the entrance will be completed it will be easier and more practical to access. - It was clean and central. Unfortunately due to the effects of the earthquake the way to enter the Riad is a bit complicated. The owner did stress to call and he would meet us to guide us through but we missed the message ! Once we knew it was easier 🙃
- Rita (10/5): Nadir home - The riad is in the center, where nice, friendly staff.
It was our first riad in Morocco, where good impression. It's a bit difficult to find it first, we had some help from locals.
- Adam (10/5): - Abderrahim was a fantastic host. Very accommodating.
- Viktória (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): - Nadir Home Riad is beautiful and full of chatacter in both the rooms and communal areas. It is tucked away and peaceful. I had so much space in my room for just myself as the room also included a lounge area. The host went out of his way to help me get to where I needed to be for the following day. I would definitely stay here again.
- Roger (10/5): - This riad is excellent in all aspects except one thing. The owner is a very kind man who is gracious and welcoming.
The apartment itself is wonderful. As a solo traveller, I had four small rooms all to myself: a bedroom, two sitting rooms, and a private bathroom. It fulfilled my expectations of a traditional stay in Marrakech. Absolutely beautiful.
The breakfast was simple and tasty.
The only downside of this property is that it is quite hard to find. On my first trip to Marrakech, I arrive later in the evening, and I had to find the place after dark. It is down a long, low-ceilinged alleyway that is tucked away in a corner. It does not show up properly on google maps. The property sent me a message to this effect, but I still did not have an adequate map and had trouble finding it. However, once I had arrived, everything else was perfect.
I would highly recommend this property, and I will definitely stay here again if I return to Marrakech.
- Joanne (9/5): Beautiful, friendly and comfortable - Our host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful even got up super early to walk us to the taxi pick up for the airport. The room was so beautiful and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. We only stayed one night on our way home, but wished we'd stayed longer.
- Charles (2/5): Will never stay here again - Not much Did not feel like a guest but an inconvenience. Have stayed here many times but never again. Owner was upset about a stain and he took daily pictures of our room and punished us by removing back cushions from the lounge. Terrace was not set up for guests. We booked a grand taxi thru him and was way over charged. He quoted 1200mad to Essouira. Our return trip back to Marrakech has been booked for 700mad.
- Parik (9/5): Lovely quiet and small riad with a great host. - It was very quiet and clean. The riad is very nice ans small with attention to detail. Interior was super comfortable and just the way you imagen one riad should be. There was an unpleasent smell in one of the batgrooms.
- Grāvele (10/5): Exceptional - We had an overall good experience. We were the only ones with our friends in the Riad, and it was very calm and felt very private. The host always made sure we had a great breakfast in the morning, and our rooms were cleaned every day. Additionally, the host helped us organize a taxi back to the airport and provided advice whenever we needed additional information about Marrakesh. I would advise anyone sensitive to noises to take earplugs, as the prayers started very early in the morning
Bravo
- Treefrogs (9/5): Superb - We were treated very well by our gracious host. Nothing was too much trouble. He walked us across town the first day to show us where everything is and helped us buy sim cards. Beautiful home in the heart of the Medina. The bed was only accessible from one side.
- Lisa (10/5): - Very safe and nice people
- Saba (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (9/5): Superb -
