• Jean-Olivier (5/5): The cons outweigh the pros. - The staff was nice and helpful and the hotel is located 6 minutes by foot from the Tayrona bus station in Santa Marta. The jacuzzi was out of order, the street where the hotel is located is sketchy and quite noisy (nearby store blasting music), the pillows were uncomfortable, the sheets and comforter were too small for the size of the bed (it looked like single bed sheets placed sideways on a full bed), and there was debris on the pillows and floor.

No me resultó satisfactorio tener que colocar una toalla en la puerta del baño para contener el derrame de agua hacia la habitación. Asimismo, la oferta de desayuno carecía de variedad, manteniéndose constante. Considero que hay margen para la mejora en estos aspectos

Que no hubo señal de wifi en la tv, que los fines de semana es muy peligroso salir, ya que a media cuadra de ahí hay borrachos y toda esa zona a partir de las 8 o 9 pm se vuelve demasiado desolada, puede prestarse para un robo o cualquier otra cosa

Contraté un Uber y en pleno 4 de enero al fin encontré un apartestudio. Cuando pedí el nombre y contacto del Gerente, me dieron en un papel rsgado y escrito con boligrafo un nombre y 2 teléfonos. Ya bote ese papel. La atención fue pésima. Y me descontaron de mi cuenta cerca de $600.000 pesos colombianos. ADEMÁS DE UN ROBO FUE UN DESCARO Nada me gustó y me robaron de mi cuenta casi $ 600.mil pesos. No merezco eso de un Hotel afiliado a Booking

• Daniel (10/5): Un día y una noche en un hermoso hotel✨🌴 - Las instalaciones son muy cómodas y limpias, el personal súper amable y atentos todos, el desayuno delicioso. Todo estuvo 20/10, desde que uno llega se siente la vibra hermosa, súper recomendado.

The room and bathroom are minuscule, with peeling wallpaper and poor drainage in the shower. The published list of facilities promised a bit more than what was actually available.

• Daniela (2/5): Terrible customer experience - Nothing especial to highlight. Ok hotel, but the area around it is not that great. We arrived very early in the morning to the hotel ( around 7 am) and we wanted to do earlier check in for which we had to pay extra and we were ok with it given that it was very early. However, they expressed that this was not possible as there was no availability which we understood as its out of their control. Around 1 pm they called us that a room was clean and available but that I will still have to pay the extra rate because it was considered as early check in ( notice that normal check in time is 3 pm) . I found this as a terrible customer experience being so close for regular check in time and it cost nothing to the hotel to give us the room couple of hours earlier.

• Omar (10/5): I'll definitely book again!!! - 1. the staff, they are so kind and very helpful 2. the food, everything made from scratch and all you can grub. 3. the location, close to parque de los novios, good stores, Street food and the beach (all in walking distance) 4. the room was very clean, smelled good. 5. the Jacuzzi's are working, they have two terrace one on level 5 (food and Jacuzzi are on level 5) and one on level 6 ( level 6 for the best sunsets). 6. they have a bar on level 5. nothing, it's a hidden gem!

Surroundings were not the best ones, but I always felt secure perhaps that. Also sometimes we experimented some kind of bad smell in the shower, but the water was good, so maybe was related with the drain.

• Carlos (10/5): La Perla en Santa Marta - The restaurant/bar/breakfast area it's one of the highlights, all food is of so good quality and it tastes incredible. The hotel personal it's so attentive and they will help you in any way possible and also give you a lot of recommendations. The installations were always clean and the hotel had a modern design that makes you keep an eye to the small details all around the lobby, corridors and balcony. The only part was that booking.com did not add the TAX and it did cost more than it appeared on this website. Maybe this website can help me on this matter.
• Sally (8/5): We loved watching the sunset from the rooftop bar and the breakfast was good up there too. - This was a very nice place to stay in Santa Marta. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the staff super friendly and helpful. It’s about 6 blocks from the heart of the town and we always felt safe walking. The location was very quiet though. The shower door didn’t close all the way so water leaks out, but was fine with an extra floor towel.

It's only a short walk from the sea front. Honestly this is difficult, I am going to be picky, there was a small leak in the bathroom but it didn't inconvenience me. • Nico (10/5): This is your place to stay in Santa Marta. what a delight! - I seldom give a ‚10‘ but this hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The facility is brand new and the staff was exceptionally friendly and forthcoming. Reception, restaurant & jacuzzi service, cleaning - they all did their best to give us an unforgettable stay. Location is near the city center and beach. The rooftop bar/restaurant is worth a visit even if you are not staying in the hotel. I can‘t think of anything to improve. Please keep up the good work. I will definitely return and also recommend further.
