• Ilona (1/5): Nearly ruined our holiday - do not stay here!! - Nothing. This was the last stop on our trip and it was a nightmare. They made us stand and then sit in the heat and darkness of a dirty, disused lobby area which resembled something from another era while they fumbled around to find our booking. We were then walked through a large, dirty restaurant zone where everything was dirty, damaged and extremely dated. We were shown two separate apartments - the first was dark even with the light on and no sooner had we walked in that we turned to walk out as the stench of damp and disuse were suffocating. We had no choice but to stay in the other option - what was sold as “deluxe” was staggering poor and felt like we had truly been trapped by horribly false advertising. The space was dirty, damaged and barely fit to spend the night in. We stayed out as late as possible and left first thing in the morning to avoid what was truly a nightmare end to our trip. The attached photos give a glimpse of the disgusting scene we had to deal with. DO NOT STAY HERE.
• Dilsera (2/5): Very poor - The view and the location was good And the food and staff are good But I don't like the room because it was so suffocating with one window and the toilet flask are not working and the water floods easily while bathing ... And the room smells like drainage 😭
• Nikolay (9/5): Superb - Vray good placec, nice view, very friendly receptionists First I enter in roon 17. It was terrible - loud noise from a street, and noise from old fan. Next day I moved to another room, all was beatiful

• Chloe (4/5): Not great - We chose this hotel over others because it seemed to be in a good location and advertised that it had an outdoor pool. However, on arrival we discovered that it doesn't have a pool - they just kept referring to a 'natural swimming area' i.e. the sea. It's also quite a run down and generally depressing place. We ended up cancelling 2 of our 3 nights and moving to another hotel first thing in the morning. I can't say much about the location as we didn't stay long enough to explore it.
• Chris (10/5): Lovely staff, great food, not far from Unawatuna - Staff were absolutely amazing, very accommodating, very friendly. We were the only people staying at the hotel at the time as it was quiet season so was nice to have the place to ourselves. Staff couldn't have done more to make us feel at ease. We turned up with fish we had caught that day on a fishing trip and they were more than happy to cook them for us in that evening. Food was really good and proper Sri Lanka breakfast was delicious. Hotel is in perfect distance for the rope swing (there is a cheaper one 300 rupees pp to the South of the hotel still with the ideallic and background view). Bus to Unawatuna is easy to catch and about a 2 minute walk from hotel, otherwise Unawatuna beach is around 40 minute walk. Couple of other restaurants and hotels around. Beach outside hotel is nice but not really for sunbathing and chilling on. Bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. Room quite basic.
