Guest Reviews
- Glyins (8/5): - Breakfast basically cereal and yoghurt. Milk wax off but soon replaced next morning
- Katarzyna (10/5): - Amazing location, housekeeper really nice! We had room upstairs looking at the mountains and it was amazing. We loved our stay. Recommend Beddgelert any time.
- Michael (10/5): - Everything was perfect! Cosy, central and with a breathtaking view. We couldn't have it any better. Thank you
- Valerie (10/5): - Great simple clean accommodation with continental breakfast on the room
- Tanith (10/5): New Years Eve night over. - A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son.
The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. After a lovely visit to the Copper mines we headed to the Coach house (less than 10 min drive) . At the property, we recieved a very warm welcome from the member of staff who showed us to our room. The room was on the ground floor, clean, bright and airy with a lovely view of the mountain's. The heating was off on arrival and it took a while for the room to warm up - probably wouldnt have noticed if we were not soaked through! The hot shower helped though and once changed it was much more comfortable. The Tv (although very small ) was welcomed whilst it absolutely battered it down outside. Being New Years Eve we didnt eat in locally but opted to drive to Portmaddog to pick up a pizza for the fussy 7 year old. Later in the evening we ventured out and joined in with the celbrations in the village- fantastic community spirit and a beautiful sight despite the weather ha!
The beds were very comfortable to enable a good nights sleep and the continental breakfast items are a nice addition to help yourself to breakfast. A late checkout of 11 also meant no need to rush out early.
The village of Beddgellert is beautiful, and the location of the coach house is just perfect to explore the village.
- Daniel (10/5): Beautiful place - Really lovely room, great Mountain Views. Breakfast was pleasant, a choice of cereal, juice, tea / coffee. Lovely, picturesque, quiet town.
- Matthew (10/5): - Highly recommend
- Ryan (10/5): - Great private location and nice room. Accessible to everything in the town and walking trails. Wish we could have stayed longer!
- Andrew (10/5): - The Coach House is centrally located in a beautiful small town that is perfectly located for hiking or touring North Wales.
- Jo (8/5): Ideal for walking trip - The rooms are in a house nestled in Beddgelert which is set up ideally for a short walking trip. There's 3 pubs, bistro, a corner shop and several cafes to provide for the ambitious walker, and just a few miles (and on the bus route) for the start/ end of a walk to Snowdon or to use the train. The room was comfortable and set up for walkers; breakfast provided in the room ready for early starts, a hot shower to ease aching muscles.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - All was good.
- Moiz (8/5): - Great host, nice and clean.Bedgellert is nice central location for snowdonia.
- Kaye (8/5): - The property was great to stay and enjoy the beautiful town of Baddgelert…. Loved the size of the room … bedding was comfortable … however the TV was tiny and the bathroom had a water leak which wet the carpet in the room … there was a faint damp smell …. Perfect if this was fixed!!!
- Helen (10/5): - The property was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast choices and easy check in process. The host was friendly and helpful. Perfect location.
- Katherine (6/5): Family room - Website said to make contact if you would like to check in at a different time. I did text to ask a couple of times no reply so in the end had to phone. Was basically told no due to cleaners. So not sure why the option was there in the first place. Double bed had extremely soft mattress and pillows which was very uncomfortable and left my back and neck stiff next morning. Breakfast selection was very good and they brought some fresh fruit to us in arrival which was lovely. Only one door key so when my partner left to go for a drink in the evening me and my daughter could not lock our bedroom door as there is no lock on the inside and partner needed key for the front door. Overall not a bad stay for the price.
- Ewan (10/5): - Fantastic place to stay after hiking Snowdon! Clean, great location and nice breakfast touch.
- David (10/5): - We loved our room, the view, the breakfast, drink and snack options were perfect…..
Also, it was cold out and our room was toasty warm.
Our neighbors were a little noisy but otherwise no complaints….
Would definitely recommend
- rhian (10/5): - Regan and Emma were welcoming, kind, and helpful. The room had everything we needed plus more, with a wonderful view.
- Christopher (10/5): - Location was very convenient to grab the bus to the various trailheads of Snowdonia National Park. The town was very quaint, filled with kind people and surrounded by stunning beauty! And the views from the room along were enough to want to come back. Large picture window allowing us to see the sheep grazing in the pasture below the green, craggy peaks ascending into the clouds. Nice assortment of snacks for breaksfast or lunch in the room too. The fresh fruit they brough each day was a really nice addition!
- Nicola (8/5): Lovely stay - Lovely B&B with continental breakfast. Beautiful location and really friendly host.
- Jessica (10/5): Wonderful stay - Beautiful room with an amazing variety of breakfast foods in the room, the room was clean and super comfy.
The location has everything you need along with stunning views. The hotel was only a 5 minute drive to the start of the Watkin path which was the route we used to hike up to Snowdon summit (the wonderful owner’s recommendation). We will be definitely staying again.
- Sara (10/5): - Would definitely be staying again room was fabulous and the extra touches with the choice of breakfast fresh orange juice and fruit in the room was perfect
- James (8/5): - The location was amazing, make sure you queue early for food as limited places to eat
