Guest Reviews
- William (10/5): Highly recommend, outstanding service and stay - The location was great, quiet but close enough to the action. Once you know the way you are 100% fine.
The service from Aziz and his team was second to none, they truly made you feel like family. The advice we received was also very handy as first timers.
The room and riad were great. The breakfast was amazing, didn't have lunch until 2pm one day we had do much.
Definite value for money and i recommend 100%.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location. Lovely Riad with a beautifil roof terrace. Staff are amazing and could not do more to help us. They have excellent local knowledge, tops on the dos and donts of Marrakech. Have a great visit and would definately return. Many thanks
- Theresa (10/5): Magical Riad - Aziz was amazing. He gave us lots of help and advice. The riad is beautiful with a pleasant courtyard, clean comfortable rooms and good showers. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The riad is in a great place - an easy walk to the mail square and near some great restaurants. But the staff are what really makes this place magical.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Peacefull Riad and friendly Staff - Very well located. The Riad was very peaceful and quiet. Personnel was really helpful and friendly. Totally recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Las dos personas que estuvieron allí, nos tratarón súper bien. Limpieza del cuarto y desayuno increibles.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hospitality and kindness! If you need any help, your on the right place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staying here was the highlight of our stay in Marrakech. The facilities are traditional and allowed us to really experience the culture of Morocco which was exactly what we were looking for.
More than just the Riad was the exception service we received from Aziz and Abdul who were diligent hosts, even meeting us by the front door with an umbrella, as we were heading out for dinner one evening, as it was raining. The advice, map drawings and hints and tips for the local customs made sure we had a brilliant stay.
The rooms are well decorated in a traditional style and had large comfortable beds.
The location was less than a 5 minute walk to the main square and with the streets of Marrakech being notoriously difficult to navigate we were not only shown on a map but walked there by Abdul the first time we went to ensure we knew where we were going and how to get back safely.
Breakfast was cooked fresh for us every morning, the food was more than plentiful and a delicious start to the day too!
- Carmella (10/5): - I highly recommend this property when traveling to Marrakech. We were welcomed when we arrived with such kindness and friendliness. They were very insiteful about how to get around Marrakech and what places to visit. Breakfast was AMAZING with fresh fruits, homemade breads and jam. My friends and I felt like it was our home when staying there. Highly recommend to book this hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Riad agréable.
Aziz à notre écoute
Cuisine très correcte, mais un peu chère.
Néanmoins éviter absolument la "chambre" du rez de chaussée.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had the BEST time at this Riad. It was a little slice of paradise in the middle of the hussle and bustle of the Médina in Marrakech. The hosts here make you feel at home straight away and are full of good advise and help whenever you need it. The Riad itself is very pretty and comfortable and has everything you will need while enjoying this amazing city.
- William (8/5): Bill’s Marrakesh stay. - Lovely home converted into a wonderful hotel. Wonderful, helpful staff. Good breakfast.
- Jerry (8/5): - Riad Aguerzame is in a quiet area close to the medina. The staff--Abdul, Aziza, Yassine--were warm and helpful., and wifi is strong. The riad itself is handsome but some things need attention: our sink and shower didn't drain well and there's not much water pressure. The breakfast is particularly disappointing although it was served nicely with the staff's usual friendliness.
- Diana (10/5): - This was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Aziz and the rest of the riad's staff/owners were fantastic, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and worthwhile. We were a group of three friends who were only staying for two nights and thanks to Aziz's recommendations and help with errands (like helping us get train tickets to Tangiers when the train station was too out of the way for us), we were able to make the most of our short time in Marrakech. The location was also ideal for walking to the medina while not being right in the middle of traffic (which is the case for a lot of places in the old city).
I cannot thank Riad Aguerzame enough for all they did for my friends and me. I highly recommend staying here and hope to come back soon.
- Gabriel (10/5): amazing - Very nice riad, lovely staff. I loved listening the sound of Marrakech from the roof top!
I would go back to Aziz and i will recomend his Riad to everyone.

- Ty (8/5): Great Value! - The room is clean and has a classic feel to it. It is located within a 10 minute walk of the main market Jemaa el-Fnaa. Aziz and company are great and are willing to give you any help or advice about the city as possible. If booking excursions, most vehicles will not be able to get close to the riad due to the narrowness of the alleyways and will require a small walk depending on the requested meeting point. I think this place is an amazing value for the cost.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Extremely helpful staff. Be aware, tough, that they don’t accept credit cards!
- maureen (10/5): It's about the people... - We chose to stay in a riad in the old town area, realizing this would be closer to the medina, even though the place would be smaller and less upgraded than a hotel. Aziz and Said and Aziza went far out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable! Without Aziz's guidance and steadfast help our stay would have not been nearly as fun or worthwhile! Heartfelt thanks to Aziz and his staff!
- Shannon (10/5): Amazing staff - The staff was so incredibly helpful. They gave us tea and coffee when we arrived, tons of recommendations of where to go and what to do, and then walked us around the market and to our next hotel when we checked out the following day (this hotel was booked for our last night in town).
- Raffaela (10/5): Great stay for a tourist trip - The Riyad is very comfortable and the staff is super friendly and mega helpful. It is really great for a stay in Marrakesh, because all the tourist sights are within walking distance. The owner also helped us find a carpet shop that locals go to (i.e. not too overpriced). The only issues were that the internet was slow sometimes and that the bathroom stank a bit.
- rosemary (4/5): Riad with great location but that’s it! - We stayed in three other Riads in Morocco and this was our least favorite. We were expecting breakfast to be included but was told that breakfast was an extra charge of 10 euros which equates to $12.22 per day, per person. The person was not that diplomatic when telling us that we had an option when booking on Expedia. I told him that there was no option given and their website specifically said breakfast included. I did not continue with the issue with him. We dropped our bags and went to the market. We arrived back at the Riad later and were told that we could have breakfast in the morning, I told the new person thank you but we had made other arrangements. The staff members were very pleasant with the exception for our greeter on the first night when the breakfast issue arose. The room was clean but there was bad, what seemed like a sewer smell especially in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The towels and washcloths had obviously been washed but were quite dingy/grayish. The water was hot for one shower only. We had personal contact with the owners of the other three Riads but the owners of this one was not present , that we saw, and we were there for 3 nights.
