• David (10/5): Great location in a beautifully reimagined old building. You must check out the rooftop ! - Its location and quaint features. Not in the old town but just across the Mozart walking bridge. Not really a problem but be aware access within the property is via fairly steep stairs, so could be an issue for some getting luggage to and from the apartment.

• Nicole (9/5): Perfect stay in Salzburg - The location was excellent for getting around Salzburg. Down a very cute historic side road on the other side of the river from the Old Town but totally accessible to everywhere. The bed was really comfy, shower nice and strong. The kitchette is tiny but manageable. We were able to cook simple meals when we did not want to go out at night. Supermarket was nearby to purchase most things we needed. Whilst we didnt see Kersten very often, she did help us with our bags on the first day which was nice and she replied quickly to any requests for travel advice. Would definitely stay there again. The staris to the apartment could be a challenge to some, especially with large suitcases but considering the building was built on the side of the rock face it made sense. Small but annoying, the handwash dispenser in the bathroom is difficult to use and made a bit of a mess.

• Alan (9/5): Great stay in a historic apartment in Salzburg - We recently completed a three-night stay in the ‘Green’ apartment on the third floor. This unique property is built directly into a cliffside—a feature strikingly visible in the bathroom—lending the space immense charm and character, complete with beautiful exposed wooden beams. Kerstin was a fantastic host, providing great communication and allowing us a very welcome early check-in. Beware the steep staircase. The room was exceptionally neat and tidy, featuring great linen, towels, and reliable WiFi. The kitchenette is well-equipped for a short stay, and we appreciated the provided tea, coffee, and milk. Entry is managed entirely by codes, removing the worry of losing keys. The location is excellent—close to shops, attractions, and restaurants—and the building offers a lovely roof terrace and plenty of visitor information brochures by the main entrance. There was some minor noise audible from neighbouring apartments during our stay but nothing major.

No bedside table or shelf. The bed was really high. The shower room area was very snug. Thankfully we were on the 1st floor as getting the cases up the stairs would have been tricky. • Helen (10/5): Loved our stay here. - This beautiful property is perfectly located in a beautiful part of Salzburg with easy access to all areas of the city which are largely accessible by foot. The apartment was clean and well equipped with lots of bars and restaurants a short walk away and with an outstanding, if rather expensive steak house right next door. There is a lovely roof terrace at the top of the house for guests to use as well. The washing facilities on the ground floor were an added bonus. Highly recommend this property. The stairs were quite hard work at the end of lots of walking around the city so I would only recommend this property if you’re quite fit and active as the stairs are quite steep however the owners are very clear about this when you book. It didn’t spoil our experience of staying here and probably helped keep us fit.

• Thomas (10/5): Excellent Apartment Enjoys Lovely Salzburg View!! - We enjoyed everything about this apartment and its location, especially the view across the river! The staff is wonderful and willing to assist with any help you may need. Thank you! 😊 Nothing to dislike but just a little bit of advice: I am 6’4” (193) tall and the doorways here were not built for someone my size. Please be careful especially if you wake up at night for a visit to the bathroom. Also (as often mentioned) the stairs are tricky if you have any mobility or lack of strength issues. If you are fit and can manage your luggage up the stairs then by all means do so and enjoy!

• Timothy (9/5): Lovely and needlessly expensive - Really think this booking through beforehand. Central, absolutely charming street with medieval dimensions. Rooms -- our group had 2 -- were spotlessly clean and everything from lights to hot water to the dishwasher worked as it should! Great beds, sparkling linen, clearly a well-managed property! That said, it is not an exaggeration to say that the house would never be approved as a hotel in most cities in the West -- the ceilings in the stairs are low while at the same time, the steps are challenging for the able-bodied and very likely a no-go for anyone with a mobility issue. The roof terrace was not accessible for half our group, which meant the others were presented with an awkward choice. That said, the rooftop is quite lovely. No street parking on Steingasse or Imbergstraße. Part of our group have very slight mobility issues that usually do not create obstacles but make public transportation very challenging, so we had a car. Parking in Salzburg blew our budget for discretionary purchases and the Salzburg City pass isn't being honored the way Salzburg's tourism board thinks it is. Basically worthless.

Die Dachterrasse bietet eine mega Aussicht auf die Festung Hohensalzburg. Die Matratzen sind leider schon etwas durchgelegen, aber ich mag auch generell sehr harte Matratzen.

• Sara (7/5): Rustic quaint apartment Close to city centre - The apartment is very quaint with rustic wood beams and the washrooms have been updated and very nice. The stairs up to the apartment are horrendous with large bags. Very steep and narrow. Also the apartment is located on a street where the cabs will not drop off so we had to go through 5 cabs before we could get one that would drop off close by. Otherwise an easy walk into town.

Wonderful and responsive staff and fantastic facilities. We stayed in the Copper Room which accommodated our family of four well. We even had a view of the castle from our room! This didn’t bother us too much, but be mindful of the stairs (steep and narrow) if you have difficulties with stairs or lots of luggage. There is no lift.

It had everything you need and owners were great. We are at their restaurant Trattoria Domina which was divine. We would stay here again if in Salzburg. • Lisa (10/5): A lovely stay in a first class apartment! - It was a beautiful apartment located with easy access to everything - perfect for the Xmas markets, the Schloss and the cathedral. The beds were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room and it had everything we needed. When we arrived and when we left, we were unexpectedly met by Kersten - she is so lovely and very helpful, answering our questions about local places to see and eat. She explained everything we needed to know about the apartment and she, and the young men who were cleaners, helped us with our luggage. It is hard to think which things could have been better as we had everything we needed and more!

We visited in October, and the apartment was well-warmed and equipped. It had a huge, comfy bed, a couch, an exquisite kitchenette, and an overall atmosphere that felt excellent. Highly recommended for those visiting this beautiful city.

• Hanna (8/5): - Super zentral gelegen, tolle Dachterrasse und bequeme Betten. Kommunikation im Vorfeld war super. Für ein Wochenend Trip perfekt. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt als Gruppe nicht geeignet, nur ein Badezimmer und Küche zu klein. Aber perfekt für Kurzaufenthalt.

• Monika (10/5): Top-Ausgangslage für ein Salzburg-Wochenende - Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral, die Innenstadt ist fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, die Ausstattung war für unser Familien-Wochenende mehr als ausreichend. Das gesamte Gebäude ist durch die Lage am Berg sehr originell, auch die Dachterrasse mit dem phantastischen Salzburg-Blick bot uns gemütliche Stunden. Keine Kritik, weil baulich nicht anders möglich: Das Stiegenhaus ist sehr eng & der Aufstieg in den 4. Stock beschwerlich. Die Aussicht (Blick auf die Hohensalzburg vom Bett aus) macht das aber wett.

• Mark (10/5): - Built in 1540, but modern bathroom and sleeping area. Excellent owner/ host. Amazing view (both day and night) of the Hohensalzburg castle. On a narrow cobblestone street. Felt like “old Europe). Being a historic building- no air conditioning or elevator. But if you don’t mind taking a few stairs and sleeping with open windows it is worth it!

• Alison (10/5): Beautiful apartment - Beautiful large apartment situated in Salzburg ( we stayed in the rockstar suite) with a stunning view of the castle. All amenities in the apartment including tea/ coffee and small milks. Very comfy beds. Travel light as a lot of steps to carry case up, not suitable if you are disabled.
