- Donald (10/5): - We stayed in the Lincoln room which was very nice. The Inn is walking distance from many shops and restaurants downtow. It is located on a hill and there are many stairs during the walk downtown.

She has generally concerned about our ability to get to the third floor and helped us relocate to the coach house. One TV didn’t work in the space and the lighting in the coach house was pretty dim. The breakfast was good and she was willing to accommodate our special dietary needs. I do feel like some aspects of the house and yard could have been cleaner. Parking can be a challenge.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Charming, but not the most comfortable - It's a cool looking place. Friendly and welcoming staff. I felt like our room was kind of musty and the best and pillow weren't the most comfortable. There are nice porches and balconies to sit out on in nice weather. And you can easily walk to Main Street if you don't mind a million stairs. It's an old place so there aren't a lot of outlets for your devices.

- SHANE (10/5): Wonderful stay in a Galina mansion. - We spent the weekend in the Blackhawk suite. We were greeted by inn keeper LeAnn upon arrival and given a short tour and lead to our suite. Or suite had multiple rooms and was very spacious and clean. We used the new jacuzzi at night and got very peaceful sleep. The morning breakfast was delicious with breakfast casserole, ham, sausage, fresh fruit and pastries. Do not pay attention to any negative posts. We had a wonderful stay in this historic property. I would highly recommend it to anybody wanting a unique couples getaway.

The room (Roosevelt) has no operable windows. The stairway is beautiful, but frightening. The place needs updating, paint, etc. The good parts were the art on the walls and the good breakfast.

Our room had so much charm and character. Our host, LeeAnn was very helpful and accommodating. Best part was the Hot Tube out back. My wife and I bicycled all day in the hills of Galena. Nothing better to enjoy the hot tube to relax from a hard day. Thanks for a great experience.
