- Pastis_51 (10/5): Wunderschönes Zimmer direkt in der Altstadt. - Wir haben dieses Zimmer als sehr schön empfunden. Die Grösse war für uns sogar zu gross, da wir leider nur eine Nacht hier waren. Da könnte man problemlos länger bleiben, finden wir. Perfekt fanden wir auch die Lage. Da wir mit Auto unterwegs waren, war uns bei der Zimmer Wahl auch wichtig einen Parkplatz zu bekommen, was hier super funktioniert hat.

- Diego (9/5): Charming B&B in great location - The Front Street Inn is a charming B&B in a fantastic location in Wilmington. Our room was spacious and quiet, and the bed was large and comfortable. On-site parking is very convenient and easy. Nothing to call out.

- Henry (9/5): Nice experience in a historic property with a hopping expresso garden- unique experience! - Great location, great vibes, great environment, fun activities. A historic property; generally well-maintained. The staff, throughout the property was exceptional- friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and efficient! The room we were in is probably up for remodeling. The historic room had a non-functioning whirlpool. It had two sinks but only one was operational. The TV reception lost connection several times. The room was otherwise well-appointed , roomy and comfortable.

Even too pics to show off how nice the room was. Every detail was thoroughly considered. Once you get used to navigating around coffee customers to get your luggage in, you’ll be fine. Hotel located right in the thick of everything. Coffee shop located on sight was great!! Having to weave through coffee shop customers to get to room. Coffee shop is very busy because it’s excellent

- Craig (7/5): Ok, but could have been better. - Fabulous rooms, lots of space, well appointed Incredibly noisy from the bar and coffee shop area. I was in a front room, and it felt like the other patrons were in my room with me. Sound insulation would go a long way here. And it’s not just at odd times. From the time the coffee shop opens until around midnight when the bar closes, it’s constant and unpleasant. Definitely wasn’t comfortable with the idea of this as a romantic retreat - if I could hear them, they could hear us. Not great for such an otherwise wonderful place.

Christmas decorations made it perfect! The check in experience. We we given an early check in but no details about a concierge. We fretted for a few hours on how to get into our room since we had the early check in. The entrance wasn't clearly marked. We also didn't realize that it was nearly self service until the concierge showed up.

The coffee and pastries available were disappointing. Coffee not to my liking. Pastries - too limited in type. suggest adding a few muffins and bagels. Given we arrived the day of the fire at the Greystone nearby, I became sensitive to the limited exit onto a wooden (in need of some upgrade) porch from our second floor room. some thinking about fire safety and exits is needed. I'd be very conscious of that if re-booking.

The check-in staff and wait staff were very friendly and efficient. The bed was very uncomfortable in the Hemingway room. Could feel the springs in the mattress and was very uneven. It was very noisy being on Front Street at night making it difficult to sleep.

Everyone recognized us and congratulated us and were so accommodating. Thanks everyone for making our weekend even more memorable. We can’t wait to come back and stay with you again.

- Anne (8/5): Nice location for couples getaway in downtown! - The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Pretty courtyard for coffee or evening drinks. Parking right there. The light coming into our bedroom from the lights at entrance that were on all night made it feel like sunrise all night. There were shutters at tops of other windows but not that one window. Indoor curtains could be an alternative.

- Ernest (10/5): The Front Street Inn is in a beautiful historic building but did not lack in modern amenities. - Coffee and pastries were a la cart. We liked eating in the garden area behind the Inn. Sam, who checked us in, was wonderful! The lights outside our window on the parking lot side were bright at night. It would nice if they could have been dimmed after the cocktail bar closed.
- rwfenn (4/5): HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT - Our room was unique + comfortable Should have brought my bed pillow since the pillows were too high for my arthritic neck. Bottles + cans were dumped around midnight. Music played loudly til after11pm. We could hear people walking by + talking together. A car kept circling the block speeding up right by the Inn. Coffee is so delicious. For the cost of one night we thought one Danish or a croissant would be free. Only one cup of coffee is free. We will not be back.
- Christine (10/5): 5 star stay! - The Inn is beautiful - we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights there. The Amsterdam suite was amazing and super comfy (and quiet). The Concorde staff were so friendly as well as the valet. Loved our stay and we will be back!
- alicegT1168RW (4/5): Won’t be back. - Only stayed 2 of the 3 days I booked. Lovely old building, but have no idea where they got 3 stars as they advertise. No one on site to help if you have any questions. No ice trays in the dorm refrigerator and no obvious ice machine. Notes from management left in the room tell you not to smear your make up on their expensive sheets or they’ll charge you $100 for extra cleaning. Only breakfast mentioned was in the adjoining coffee shop I could buy muffins. The blankets or bed covering were like the flat blankets from the hospital. I slept as much on the couch as I did the bed, partly because the head of the bed is nearest the door and I didn’t feel comfortable like that and there was no tv in the sleeping area and I am used to going to sleep with tv. I booked the Jacques Cousteau room. Other than photo prints of rivers and lakes and one ornament that looked like a deep sea diver’s helmet, there was little to the ambiance. Why the figure of a dog seated doing the Buddha pose?! 🫤 Not a fan. Sorry folks. I was looking forward to a relaxing break, but I returned home a day early and hundreds of dollars poorer for the experience.

- Steve Henry (8/5): Automated. - Shower pressure ridiculously strong. Was able to adjust it down only with difficulty. Segovia room. Suggest a different type of shower head. A place with a first class coffee shop on premises ought to at least offer a free cup in the am.
- Rusty (10/5): Great Location - Great service, people, location and overall experience! The room itself could use some TLC. Also, to order from the Concorde, you have to walk to the register. It would be awesome to have a QR code for the room to order. Overall a great stay and we will definitely be back!
- wandaboker (8/5): Beautiful but no customer service. - First the good points - really cool renovated building, exposed brick, high ceilings, tasteful decor. And it's clean. The only staff we encountered is the young man managing the parking lot, but text instructions on how to enter our room with a code were easy to follow. Disappointed that we had to circle the block 3 times trying to figure out where to park because the parking lot was roped off without any signage to say " hotel guests stop and ask the attendant to let you in!". We had to park in a private home parking lot and walk to the hotel to ask where we park for the hotel. Having a kitchenette in the room is great but there weren't any dishes or cutlery available, not even a spoon to stir coffee in the paper cup provided with the Keurig. No one is on hand to answer questions or provide an extra coffee pod, or whatever you may need as a guest, except for the parking attendant who was very sweet, but obviously limited in his ability to help guests. The hotel seems like an afterthought to the adjacent espresso bar to be honest. Which is a shame because they've clearly put a lot of thought into the renovations and decor, and the location is excellent, a block from the Riverwalk.

- Jean (6/5): Location, location, location and outstanding coffee shop - disappointed with suite for price. - Pros: Location, location, location. Free Parking. Ease of checkin, Concord staff was helpful and informative. Outdoor area in back was nice. Free coffee. Bed was comfortable and linens were nice. Very clean. Room was not as advertised. The bath area was locked so we could not use bath, the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. The bathroom sink did not drain properly. I would have expected in a suite that these things would be in top working order for the price that we paid to upgrade. The value of this hotel is just not there for ill maintained baths and the overcharged prices. I will still in that location but probably not that particular room again. No staff at desk to answer questions was also a downside.

The room was large and we'll appointed ( on the basic side) but nice. Definitely a piece of history which we like. Fantastic coffee shop and martini bar downstairs. Very helpful, polite and attentive staff. It was all good
