- Thayne (9/5): Very comfortable place overall, would stay again. - The room itself was comfortable, the AC in the window was stronger than most, the shower had good pressure, and the tea was good. Wifi was fantastic. There were a couple bugs, nothing crazy. Shower head needs descaling. The towels weren't bleached so I could see some stains that made me uncomfortable, but were still clean. And the TV was very old and not really usable.

Was not sure breakfast was available although I thought it was on the website and we left early anyway. It took a little effort to adjust the shower and room temperature. But overall slept well.

I loved everything but my husband wasn’t fond of where the location of the TV was. I’m not a TV person so it didn’t bother me at all!!

They even upgraded us due to hotels.com not adding my 5 year old to the reservation. It was a lovely stay. Cleaner than any other hotel or motel we have stayed at. This will be our forever stop on our way to visit family in Nevada. Thank you both for the hospitality!

- Jonathan (10/5): Great place to stay in Sidney - We had a great stay at this motel. We had a late arrival but Karri was kind and friendly upon check-in. We had a peaceful, comfortable rest. The room was clean and adequate and very affordable. The property is conveniently located to I-80.
- Richard (6/5): - This motel has a lot of charm and the price is right. But the bedroom and bathroom are small and cramped. AC/fan is noisy but the room gets stuffy if it's not on. Okay for a night on the road -- probably better for a single traveler than a couple. Careful if you have long legs -- at least in our room (14) doing one's morning business was not easy with the wall right in front of the toilet.

Dining options are within an easy drive of about a mile. The bed was very comfortable, the AC kept me cool: I had a great nights sleep. I will definitely stay here again when I am through the area.
- cynthiar945 (2/5): CLOSED !!!!! - Made a reservation in February 2022 for a one night stay to take place on May 22, 2022. Arrived to find a note on the door that they had left for a few minutes. I called the phone number posted on the door, no answer. Also no answer at the door. Sat and waited for 20 minutes or so. A man just happened to arrive and told us that he was the owners’ son. He said the motel was closed due to a family emergency, for which I’m truly sorry. If you’ve got a reservation, call and check on the status. If you’re just looking around for a place to stay, go elsewhere like we had to do.
- Christina (4/5): - The outside was clean and the motel was exterior was very cute. When we checked in the lady who owns it was very sweet. They are eco friendly but they obviously had just sprayed for roaches and had not checked our room prior to check in. Roaches dead everywhere in the bathroom and halfway dead. We couldn't take a shower due to the fear that the dead roaches that were stacked in the bathroom light and fan were going to fall on us. My sister and I were so tired that we did not bring anything in the room and I laid my travel blankets on the bed. We slept and quickly left. At least it was cheap. Never will go back, ugh.

Definitely dated - popcorn ceiling, old fixtures, carpet and bedding. Our room was two double beds that were very close together, so it was a bit difficult to move around.

- cheryle84118 (2/5): Customer FAIL! - I selected this motel for the good reviews, location and cost. I booked it several weeks in advance for 2 rooms. She was very friendly on the phone and even offered an early check in option. That is the only positive part of my experience. The day we arrived in town I called to see if we might be able to check in early. We had been driving all night (about 10 hours). She said sorry the rooms were not available yet but she would call as soon as they were. That was great and we decided to go park and wait it out over by the Cabelas. About an hour 1/2 later I get a call. (was excited) Only to be told "we are having plumbing issues sorry we have to cancel your reservations" "not our fault". "wanted to give you time to find other accommodations" .....WHAT!! She did not offer options just have a nice day. I understand things happen. But this could of been a 5 star review instead of a 1 by doing one simple thing. She could of said "however, I called around to the other hotels in the area and they will hold some rooms for you for an hour if you call XYZ, at XYZ and they will give you rooms for XYZ. We also got you a discount for the inconvenience. She only needed to take that extra step to help her customer get other accommodations and provided information on who to talk to with a number and what she could of arranged for us. But no, Sorry have a nice day and the best of luck to you was all I got. This was not only very unprofessional it was very inconvenient because I needed to find another motel/hotel that could provide us with 2 rooms but pet friendly too, in a very small town. I was on a budget and with having to pay for 2 rooms many of the other hotel options were not within my budget or had rooms available. Huge customer fail for this motel. My suggestion to Sleep for Less, arrange for the future with an area hotel a back up option if you have to cancel on your customers for any reason. At least give them a place to stay. They don't have to stay there but at least you provide an option with similar room option with maybe a small difference in price.

- Angela (8/5): Price is right for a quick overnight stay - Nice little motel in a small Nebraska town. The price was right - we weren't expecting frills. The service was excellent - personal, friendly and quick. The bed was comfortable enough (the pillows were pretty small though). The bathroom was functional and clean. The room was hot when we arrived, but the window mount AC unit was pretty effective. Only two little grievances - one the hotel could probably rectify, the other not so much. The itty bitty tube TV was mounted in the corner above the headboard end of the bed, so you couldn't really watch tv in any kind of comfortable way. And oh my gosh the moths! There were half a dozen large moths flying around the room as soon as we turned the lights on, and we were woken up in the middle of the night by a cricket *in* our room. Those particular bugs are just a product of the environment and not a reflection on the hotel itself, but they definitely added a dose of excitement to our stay.

The room on the other hand...You get for what you pay for, I suppose. I stayed there one night while moving across country. The price was very affordable. Obviously this isn't a fancy hotel, but they could at least keep up with the cleanliness. The edges of the carpet had dead bugs, not to mention underneath my bed. Cobwebs and more dead bugs. The water was either too hot or too cold. You had to move the faucet very gently to get it to a good temperature. There was a bug crawling in my bed, which made me not want to sleep there anymore. There were a few minor details that didn't sit right with me, but it's what I paid for, I just wish the rooms were cleaner.

Our room did not have a microwave, but they found one to use. I wish it had a tub along with the shower. No air conditioner but a wall heater. A little off the beaten path at 2 minutes from town central, but that made if very quiet.

We had a late check in & some issues with our online booking, but the woman at the hotel was super helpful and accommodating! We were exhausted after a long day driving & just needed a clean, comfy bed. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

- Janice (10/5): - Reserved 5 rooms for family outing. Very, friendly and accommodating. CLEAN, great price. Would stay again. The community was very hospitable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Cute little place, reasonably priced. But every entrance was right into the parking lot. This made an easy entry for bugs. We killed several creepy crawlies in just one night stay.
- angelabutcher (8/5): Clean , quaint , comfortable - This is a small mom and pop hotel without all the frills, but most importantly they have clean comfortable rooms . The shower was clean and hot, the owners were very friendly, would definitely stay here again.
- BrentC744 (10/5): Cozy, Quaint, Inexpensive - Cozy & Quaint, yet every amenity of the other bigger budget hotels, except free breakfast. It is well worth the little bit (2 miles) extra drive to experience the Quiet, away from the frantic Traffic noise of downtown along I-80. Owners were very friendly and personable and the price cannot be beat!
- YFNETM (6/5): Chilly - It was out of the way off the main highway so I almost missed it initially. The room was clean and quiet and it was a decent price, but there was no heat. The overnight temps dipped into the 50's and I needed an extra blanket on the bed to stay warm. There was a heater in the room, but the pilot light was off and I didn't know how to light it. Otherwise, no major problems.
- our70mc (6/5): Over night - Very old and dated but it's obvious that the owners love their little piece of history. We had a small dog with us so our room had old dirty carpet, I felt the need to keep my shoes on. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The gas heating units are sketchy. I smelled "mouse" but realized it must be gas smell so we cracked a window. Wouldn't stay again.

I decided to try this one because of the price and many positive reviews. The owners were super friendly and more than accommodating. They clearly care about their customers. The room was clean, comfortable and allowed me to rest well. I will stay at this motel again.
- thbergs (8/5): Mom and pop cleanliness and comfort. - Inexpensive, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Old fashioned, and a fine nights sleep. Just what we needed. Arrived later, left early, so didn't see anything in daylight. Room was basic and a great value. We would stay again.
- iowatraveler74 (6/5): Friendly, not fancy - Clean and offers the basics that one needs. It truly is economical and they readily accepted our pets. We were appreciative and wished we could have stayed long enough in the morning to take part of the organic breakfast, it sounded wonderful!
- GKP46 (10/5): Wonderful Motel ....Great Value! - I've traveled thousands of miles seeing the USA and this has been one of the best motels I've experienced. Wayne and Kari go out of their way to make you feel at home and that you have a wonderful stay. They have had this motel for 18 years and live on the property. Wonderful people and they work hard to insure you are happy. The motel is clean, comfortable and feels as much like home as they can possibly make it. Well appointed room with refridge, micro, TV with cable, coffee maker, hair dryer, desk with lamp and chair. Excellent A/C, towels, soap, etc. An easy chair, bed spreads that give it a comfy feeling. This is a small motel, park in front of your room, solid stone structure, nice landscaping and outside park-like benches to sit and enjoy the late afternoon/evening. Some reviews have mentioned the trains however every room has a heavy front door, a very sturdy heavy duty glass storm door and being a solid stone one level structure the noise attributed to the trains was truly not a problem at all. I'm a light sleeper and it was never a problem. They do not offer breakfast however there are many places within a two to 4 minute drive to have breakfast or your evening meal . I will definitely stay here again. Great little motel, with a great location being owned and operated by the nicest couple you will meet.
- PatriciaC862 (10/5): We love this place! - Our previous visits to Sidney we have stayed at a conventional hotel with free breakfast, pool, etc etc. While it was an ok stay, two news channels (CNN and Fox- we are Canadians!) blared from one end of the lobby over the breakfast area, and popular country tunes played non-stop in the sitting area. Not relaxing:/ We have two doggies and wanted direct entry to our room. This motel is perfect for us. It is very clean and cosy. Cosy room. No music or loud news networks. Wonderful sweeping vista view. Warm and friendly owners. Great coffee. Relaxing. We love it.
- celestel772 (10/5): Quiet and homey motel - A very homey motel not far from the interstate in a quiet region of the city. The owner was very friendly, and the price was unbeatable! The room was clean, and included a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Definitely recommend if you need a good night's sleep.
- Grant_MacTavish (6/5): Nice for the price - This is a good economy place to stop for the night. Very friendly and helpful owner operated facility. The rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. Decor is somewhat dated but very well maintained. Room is a little tight but fine for a night's rest on the road as the name suggests.
- hollywilson49 (10/5): Fantastic alternative to corporate chain hotels! - We were so delighted to find this little place, a refreshing change to the cookie-cutter chain hotels that dominate I-80 exits! This little motel is two miles up from the Interstate, but a reminder of the small innkeeper days of childhood road trips. Our inexpensive room was very clean, the bed firm enough for the wife with a bad back, and little homey touches that made us feel like we were staying with friends. The couple that owns the place work very hard, applying their creative vision through details such as hand-sewn curtains and flower box color grown in their own hand-built greenhouse. A MUST visit!
