Würde also empfehlen Badeschuhe mitzunehmen.
- Brent (10/5): Wonderful amenities, gorgeous location. - An amazing location with incredibly friendly staff and immaculate facilities. I was a massive thanks to Virgilia who was so incredible! Wr had my daughter’s 16th birthday whilst there and she helped organise dinner and a cake. Anything was never too much trouble from taxis to questions. What an incredible asset she is.

- Ejsmome (10/5): Felt like home with a sunset view! - We just spent 9 nights at Moorea Beach Lodge and couldn't be happier with our choice. We had a beach front bungalow and watched sunset right from our own deck every night. They serve a lovely breakfast every morning, and there are fabulous restaurants close by. We did not use the bikes (although available), but did enjoy the kayaks. There was great snorkeling right in front of the lodge. The staff was helpful and wonderful, and there was a great, shared kitchen that was kept incredibly clean. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend as well as return without hesitation!

- jan (10/5): I think this was my first 10 rating ever absolutely superb - great room
super compound with secure parking
right on the beach
great sunsets
clean rooms with all amenities
ample sunbathing
free kayaks and bikes
lots of great restaurants in the area
breakfast is great make sure you reserve restaurants (they are busy)
the snorkeling is not best in front of the hotel but a 200 meter walk solves that
it could use "do not disturb signs" on the doors as cleaning is early
- luxeecotravelwheels (10/5): Jewel of a place to enjoy Moorea if ypu like quiet - My second time and definitely not the last. We spent one night in the beach bungalow and the rest in the family bungalow, perfect for sharing with our young adult children. This lodge is magical and a haven of calm, peace and beauty for someone looking for a pure nature Moorea experience, (if you want parties and lots of food options this isn't the place), and to truly relax. We spent an unforgettable week doing very little other than enjoying the lodge, the view and this treasure of an island. Claude the manager is incredibly welcoming and helpful. I am a mobility impaired traveller who travels with help- the lodge is not technically accessible due to steps leading to the room and dining area, but it was do-able for me with help and the family bungalow was perfect for our needs.
The lodge is small, with mostly bungalows for two either on the beach or in the garden. The garden itself is small but lovely, plotted around a huge banyan tree where we read in the hot afternoons. There's a nice breakfast served but no other meals. You are close to multiple shops and restaurants where you can takeaway- we did that and also cooked in the communal open air kitchen, a lovely experience and way to meet other guests and feel as if you're truly living on Moorea.
Location is the quiet side of the island, but island is small so not hard to get anywhere. We did a lagoon tour with Captain Taina but I believe the lodge will begin offering their own tours soon which I'd love to try.
All in all a truly special place for people who want to relax and enjoy Moorea.

- Sonal (9/5): We had an amazing stay. The property is basic but an amazing view and location. It’s also in the less touristy part of t - Our view was amazing! It felt very special to be there. Nothing

- Kristine (10/5): Amazing property with Wonder staff, will definitely stay again. - The property was beautiful and secluded, with a beautiful beach front views. Honeymoon bungalows were spacious even though we were told they are fairly small. The common area with the kitchen was great. Property was very clean. We got to see a lot of wildlife in the ocean from the shore. It's a perfect place to disconnect. And the staff was wonderful. Even though property doesn't have a restaurant or a bar, you do have a common kitchen and grocery store near by.
Only downside were the kayaks that were missing plugs and overfilled with water, which made them super unstable of you went out far into the ocean.
- Trish (10/5): Comfortable beautiful great location wonderful dining experience and good price - Everything!
- Graham (7/5): Beautiful and quiet place close. - The location was beautiful. The room was comfortable and spacious and the bed comfortable.
It was wonderful to have the kayaks available at all times. The grounds were kept immaculate.
The women who prepared and led the crafting of flower crowns were great and all who participated were so impressed! The arrangement of the kitchen was awkward at best for preparing and consuming one’s own food. The idea of washing and drying dishes used is unsanitary. It would be better to have guests load a dishwasher since not everyone would adequately wash dishes used. Often the cups, glasses and cutlery had to be washed prior to use.
The staff working in the kitchen and serving were not interested in guest interaction nor was smiling in their job description.
- noamaye (10/5): Perfect for relaxing and getting out to explore! - The Moorea Beach Lodge is a wonderfully secluded, quiet spot perfect for relaxing, yet close enough to walk to lots of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Delicious and hearty daily breakfasts with yummy fresh pastries and coffee/tea/water and kitchen access are available throughout the day. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating and seem to genuinely care about their lodge and their guests. We stayed in the "honeymoon" bungalow and the room was a bit on the small side with limited storage for hanging wet items to dry, but otherwise this was a perfect stay. The beach was lovely with great snorkeling and sunsets right from our room! We also took advantage of the on-site car rental and they made it super easy to rent directly through them. I highly recommend the Lodge all around and would stay here again. I hope we can visit again soon!

- Sandra (8/5): Beautiful place, lovely people, great location - Lovely welcome and your through the property and facilities.
Great location for sunset and nearby shops and restaurants.
Lovely little extra touches to make the accommodation stand out from the ordinary.
Generous inclusion of amenities and extras.
Well thought out and effective systems for guests, eg fridge space in kitchen as well as mini fridge in the room. Some road noise due to being so close, but just a minor thing I had not anticipated.

- Jennifer (9/5): Spectacular location, perfect for relaxing - Perfect location in a slightly quieter part of Moorea. Snorkelling straight off the beach, and the breakfast on the veranda overlooking the beach was fantastic. Staff were very helpful, even driving out at night to direct us to the property (we came from the south, rather than the north, which caused much confusion!). The area is nice and quiet, and in walking distance to some shops and eateries. A car is helpful to get to various tourist attractions and other sights. The ability to use the kitchen was great too, when we couldn’t face the idea of leaving the beach!
- Denise (6/5): - The kayaks were nice and convenience of being right on the beach. However, we splurged for a beach front room, but could not enjoy it at all in the evening due to the fact that it was swarming with bugs - termites and mosquitos. Could not sit outside on the deck by the beach. Tried to microwave food in the common kitchen and was swarmed by bugs. We had 3 rooms. In one, the room temp was too hot so the AC wasn’t working as well as it should. And the ceiling fan didn’t work. The roosters crowing nearby kept me awake from 2-5 am. What could have been a nicer stay was not restful and was physically uncomfortable in the evening due to bugs, noise, and heat.
- Tania (9/5): - The location, being able to step outside and be right on the beach.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem That we couldn't stay longer as they were booked out.
- Iwan (10/5): Amazing - Location Nothing
- Fearless19448288293 (10/5): Totally enjoyed the Lodge and its staff! - This lodge was absolutely wonderful! It was steps from the water with lots of interesting fish and rays. Easy to get in and out for snorkeling. There were complimentary kayaks and bikes. We wish we another day to use the kayaks to enjoy the fish up close. The bungalows were modern and had A/C. There is also a common kitchen you can use and your own refrigerator space. The included breakfast offered made to order eggs, pastries, bread, delicious juice, and a variety of cut fruit. The female working at the desk (I unfortunately do not rememberher name) greeted us so warmly and gave us a very informative tour of the hotel The Lodge is lucky to have her!
- Alessio (9/5): - Great location and wonderful beach. Good breakfast and very friendly staff. Shared kitchen available with free coffee and tea A bit too small rooms

- X1604ZOdonnaa (10/5): Have to Experience this Hideaway - What a wonderful hideaway in a marine garden of stingrays, sharks (friendly ones) & turtles. The service was super warm & wonderful, food was excellent and of course the views were unprecedented. We were in our yacht however you can hire a boat or grab a water ferry, not to be missed.
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- karenhAva33 (10/5): Tropical Retreat - Beautiful lodge in a beautiful location! Clean, comfortable, lovely staff! The guests during our stay were mostly quiet which made it ideal for retreat and self care. Sunsets are spectacular here! Optional day car rental was super convenient. The manager/host Claude was kind, thoughtful and helpful! Thank you Claude! Hope to be back!
- Regier (8/5): Very good -
- Katii (9/5): Would definitely go back. - We loved the snorkeling, exploring with kayaking, watching the sunrise/set and the great restaurants around the area! (Highly recommend the Italian restaurant near by) Wish the room size was a bit bigger for what you pay.
- 449kierans (10/5): A little piece of Paradise in French Polynesia - This place is a little piece of paradise. Located right at the beautiful small beach with direct access to the stunning lagoon you simply cannot help but fall in love with this resort. We were met at the airport and driven to the resort where we were greeted by the wonderful Virgilia who manages this small, intimate resort. She was super friendly and very helpful - arranging car hire, recommending paces to visit and where best to eat on the island. The breakfasts were awesome and freshly made for us (to order) every morning by the very friendly resort staff. There were kayaks and snorkelling equipment for our use to explore the stunning lagoon and small islets dotted around. There were bikes available also but we chose to hire the car (recommended!) The resort has a large relaxing guest lounge, small library and open kitchen for guest use together with fridges assigned to each of the units. Best to book one of the lagoon fronting villas. You will not be disappointed. Many thanks again to Virgilia and the rest of the staff for making our stay so special and memorable!!
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- fdoamerica (8/5): Best location on the island for those looking for tranquility - Hands down, this lodge offers the best beach and lagoon access on the island—no other property even comes close. Located facing due west, it boasts the most stunning sunsets on Moorea. The atmosphere here is peaceful and serene, providing a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Papeete.
The staff are fantastic, available from 7 AM to 3 PM, and the small bungalow rooms are impeccably clean. Each room comes with cold A/C, a small fridge, and wonderful hot showers, ensuring a comfortable stay.
While breakfast isn’t included, it costs about $50 for two. We found that the best snorkeling happens early in the morning, so we opted to skip breakfast and bought our own eggs and bread. The lodge kindly allows you to cook in their kitchen, and they even provide space in the refrigerator for your items. It’s a small touch, but it made a big difference!
- 599eds (10/5): Wonderful week at Moorea Beach Lodge - Everything about Moorea Beach Lodge was just as the description and photos advertised.
The location is ideal. Shopping, restaurants, and beaches are all close by.
However, the best part of our experience was meeting the people who work there.
The staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome!
- Sheron (10/5): Had an awesome stay and would definitely stay there again! - Loved the seaview bungalow and the friendly staff. Also loved that we were only a few steps away from the beach! There was nothing we didn't like.
- luxeecotravelwheels (10/5): If you want calm and quiet, this is it: one of the most charming, memorable places I've stayed - Lovely place to stay for a couple or family seeking calm in Moorea. Peaceful locatioin far from the busy area, but near a clear and amazing snorkeling spot. They serve a lovely breakfast with fruit, breads, eggs overlooking the incredible lagoon. The bungalows are dotted around a tropical garden with an old banyan tree and are quiet and peaceful but well appointed. We had the family bungalow, large enough to cook in, but if not you can use the common kitchen. There is a stair to the room but inside, this bungalow was totally wheelchair accessible with a flat shower and lots of turning radius. The furniture, decor etc is Polynesian and I personallly loved it, found it very tasteful. Welcoming and helpful staff and manager. We missed breakfast once as we were talking to our son and they opened the kitchen to provide us coffee and breads. Definetely coming back.
- kjitaly (10/5): An ideal beachfront getaway on Moorea. - The Moorea Beach Lodge is a cozy 12 bungalow property on the beach. Each bungalow has a large bathroom, safe, fridge and a comfortable king bed. Done units offer a sitting area in add or a day bed with a trundle. Featuring a large meet up space inside and outside, your own fridge in the shared kitchen, a comfortable bar where you and your friends can sit by the water and watch and listen to the water.
The staff is very accommodating and very pleasant. They take the sand and grass daily. A lovely place to stay.
There’s breakfasts are pleasant and more than enough food to get you through that first morning snorkel.
There’s a couple restaurants and grocery stores nearby that you can take a stroll to. The Concept coffee and drink bar is also nearby.
- Hamilton (10/5): We will stay here again, should our future travels take us to French Polynesia! - We loved staying in a beach front cottage and the amazing water views. Spotted a stingray from shore! Great place to snorkel and hang with friends. They made it easy to rent a small car from the lodge that we rented to explore on one day of our stay, otherwise, we utilized taxi service or walked. Onsite bikes could certainly have used some attention.
- searcher4444 (10/5): Wonderfully welcoming and relaxing. - The manager was delightful and completely helpful, as were all staff. The accommodations are very private despite being 10 units in a relatively small area. The lagoon immediately in front is wonderful for swimming or kayaking ( kayaks and bicycles available free of charge).
We will definitely return. Mo’orea is much calmer and more accessible to water than Tahiti. But as our guide said “Tgere is no party on Mo’orea, so if you need that, maybe Tahiti or Bora-Bora.
- Darius (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (8/5): Relaxing stay on a very quiet white sand beach. - Liked our beachfront bungalow on a quiet white sand beach. Communal kitchen to make provided tea or coffee. We didn’t eat the breakfast approx $25.00pp Room was rather small but manageable for the 3 nights
- Perkins (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helene (10/5): Fabulous and relaxing holidays - The relaxing atmosphere. Chic while very calm.
Location is great. Service excellent and facilities fabulous. Nothing
- Lesley (7/5): Good - As the island went into a total blackout before dark on our first night, it is very hard to give a fair review. The staff are lovely and the facilities good. I understand from the lodge manager this blackout was the first he has experienced in over six years on Moorea. I would have thought they would have had torches or some other lighting in such a case but nothing. Someone came around in the dark and gave us two tiny candles and said to be careful - he didn’t bring anything to light the candles and we are non smokers so that was useless.
- Carolyn (10/5): This is a great resort with a large private space and then full run of the kitchen if you so choose. - Location was excellent. Kitchen facilities were great, lots of fridge space. Coffee in the morning was as bonus. Lots of parking. Kayaks were fun. Snorkeling was great. Lots of room in common areas. A minor complaint to be sure, but none of the loungers had cushions. Maybe it's a hint to get your butt out of the lounge chair and do something else. lol
- Emilie (10/5): Absolutely perfect stay - My beach bungalow was gorgeous and very comfortable.
The staff was lovely and made me feel like home.
There is a snorkeling spot nearby but I was happy to see rays and sharks at the beach in front of the hotel.
The common spaces are gorgeous and it was nice to have a shared kitchen to meet other travelers.
I loved this place. Leaving this paradise.
- Erik (10/5): A really great place with a kitchen for communal use and good kayaks and the perfect sunset views. - The communal kitchen is great for cooking! The kayaks are in great shape for long outings and you can reach all the best snorkeling spots from the property within 30 min of paddling.
- Wyatt (9/5): Highly recommend! We felt like we got so much value for the cost. - We LOVED Moorea Beach Lodge. It's a really small hotel with only about 11 rooms, so it felt very intimate. It was fun getting to know other guests, but it also felt extremely private and quiet. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, spacious, and clean daily so it was a pleasure to use (especially with restaurants being so expensive and having such slow service). It was also great to have car and scooter rentals on site. We decided not to rent a car for the week, and instead did a day rental on a day when we wanted to go explore other parts of the island. Definitely more economical and convenient! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were accessible on WhatsApp to help with anything we needed, including transport and reservations. The rooms are definitely on the small side with limited space to store clothing, but they're very clean and cute. Location could be better. We loved that the little town center was in walking distance and gave us access to restaurants, a small market and some shops. However, good restaurant options were limited and we found a lot more options on the north side of the island. We also noticed that the water was that striking tahiti blue further down the beach, but it was a bit murky right in front of the hotel. Not exactly sure why that is, but it definitely made the snorkeling and swimming a little less appealing.
- Jeanette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Starbecks (10/5): This place is a piece of paradise. I loved getting lost in the moment here. - Great location, beautiful room, amazing staff, great facilities. Perfect. Nothing.
- Zaida (9/5): Superb -
- Adrianne (9/5): We had a fabulous relaxing holiday - Location, cleanliness, location and lovely beach Understand maintenance needs to be carried out but perhaps a late check out would have been a nice gesture to compensate for sitting amongst building works
- Jeffrey (10/5): Paradise on Mo’orea - Everything about this lodge is amazing. Check in is easy and the staff is absolutely amazing. Our room (4) was the perfect location to the beach and community room. Plus, you get pretty good internet in this room. The breakfast chocolate croissants and fresh fruit were just amazing!!!! And the reef out front is paradise. Believe me, there is nothing to dislike.
- Anne (10/5): Would love to come and visit soon again. All the management went above and beyond to make our stay - Breakfast was delicious. Fabulous view on the beach We loved everything
- Katy (10/5): Exceptional - Great breakfast. The most amazing location and view
- Christy (10/5): Pick this place first. You will love the views the people and the location. - Exceptional facility, location and staff The clean crispness and the fantastic beach and rooms
- Katy (10/5): Amazing - The most stunning view from balcony and from inside the room. Clean room, super soft towels. Staff we lovely, free access to the kitchen with tea/coffee making facilities and really lovely breakfast. We had the superior bungalow as a splash out on our honeymoon and it was worth it. We were very sad to leave
- Maura (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqueline (10/5): I had a wonderful stay and being able to use the kitchen facilities was great. As a solo older female traveller I prefer - It’s quite unique in its design and lodge amenities.
Also its proximity to local restaurants & shops, Nothing.

- Carol (10/5): It was hard to say goodbye to such a lovely stay. - Moorea Beach Lodge is one of the loveliest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are fantastic and the location on a pristine and accessible lagoon was gorgeous. The assistant managing the front desk consistently went out of her way to help us and make our holiday memorable. The hotel is a short walk to a village with a choice of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and shops. Moorea Beach Lodge has superb kitchen facilities that are available 24 hours to make good quality and free coffee and tea and to cook meals if wanted. The view from our beach bungalow was exquisite. The hotel has gorgeous spaces inside and out to relax and the modern beach decorative style was comfortable and classy. It is a fantastic and stylish alternative to cookie cutter big name resort complexes that cost five times as much. This hotel offers a very comfortable authentic experience. It's a beautiful and charming low-key resort with excellent water access and I cannot fault Moorea Beach Lodge. Sometimes we had to reconnect to the free wifi, but that was not a big issue.
- Katherine (8/5): Very good -
- Stefan (9/5): Thank you! - Very nice complex with free coffee, an additional fridge and a fully equipped kitchen. Location is great and in between scooters and car to rent or the free bikes you can get anywhere on the island. Free kayaks get you to Coco Beach to swim with reef sharks or rays.
Very nice staff and knowledgeable about possible activities. Room are a bit small and with two suitcases it can get a bit crowded, but you will manage.
- Jackie (9/5): Superb -
- Suzanne (7/5): Laid back, easy living - Beautiful, convenient, and well maintained. Was walking distance to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Ants. Whether you have food or not, ants will find their way to bungalow #3-especially during rain storms.
- Barbara (10/5): - This is a smal, intimate , boutique hotel. Rooms are smashed but we had a bungalow facing the beach. Gorgeous! Other bungalows face the garden and actually are much cheaper but just as nice. Guests have access to a huge, well furnished living space and patio with a view of the beach. You can also use a state of art kitcnen.
- Fernando (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (10/5): romantic get away - property was in excellent condition and with in walking distance to several nice restaurants. snorkeling was excellent just right off the beach at property. sting rays visted us every morning. highly suggested as a alternative to the highly priced resorts.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
