• Verified traveler (8/5): - Great property but restaurant was average. Dinner I had there was below average. Salmon was over cooked and served with partially reheated vegetables. Also, disappointing that cuisine was Italian vs Japanese.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely hotel, the staff were great when we rang to say we would be a little bit late for check in. They waited till we had arrived. Our hotel room was very spacious and perfect for our one night stay.
• Verified traveler (6/5): ここに6人は無理 - 普通のアパートをゲストルームにした建物。 ロフトの上は2歳児が頭を打つ高さで、布団を敷いたりも厳しそう。またロフトを作るためにメインのベッドスペースも低くなり、かがむ必要がある。 我々は大人二人、幼児1人だったのでベッド2台で寝たが、6人はどうやっても泊まれないだろうと思った。 口コミにあったので知ってはいたが、IHコンロがあるのにフライパンや鍋がないのは残念。コーヒーやティバッグは十分な量あった。 バスはトイレ一体型のユニットバス。

Só faltou um transporte do hotel para estação, que outros hotéis na região tem, e elevador para chegar no quarto. Mas a recepcionista foi muito atenciosa e nos ajudou na chegada. Durante a hospedagem todos os funcionários foram muito solícitos e nos ajudaram com as informações de transporte. A região é bastante carente de pessoas que falam inglês e tenham informações turísticas do Monte Fuji.

The staff were very friendly, and they have Netflix which is great when you've been travelling for weeks and just want a night in! There is no elevator, carrying our luggage up to the third floor was a bit of a pain.

The room was not cleaned during our stay. There was no elevator, only stairs which made it difficult as we had to carry out luggage up 3 flights.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 櫃檯人員態度差強人意；房間整體非常好 - 一到飯店，櫃檯的一位老先生手指地圖請我們到別的飯店，我們很確定訂的是這間沒有錯，但是語言不通，不知為何要我們到別間飯店。後來一直強調要check in，才拿起入住記錄本查看訂房名字，也確實有訂房紀錄沒錯。 哪有不先確認訂房名字就直覺認定我們不是入住的客人，超級莫名其妙。 櫃檯上了年紀的一男一女讓人感覺很糟，只有一位年輕留鬍子的服務人員，才有感覺在尊重客人 房間比想像中的大、寬敞，有沙發、廚房、微波爐，插座夠多，整體就是舒適，對房間超級滿意。比較不好的部分就是沒有電梯，不過最高也只有3樓，不介意的話撐一下就到了、還有房間的毛巾看起來有質感，但是會掉毛又不吸水
• Yuen Kit (6/5): Super good room. But inconvenient. - We love the room. Clean, spacious, and it has everything. It makes you feel at home. However, it's inconvenient. 1. No elevator. We have to carry the luggage ourselves. 2. The location. It was located half way to the top. We have to rely on cable train to get there. And the last cable train was 7pm. That means we could not enjoy our dinner at outer place. The nearest restaurant open at 5:30pm, and there was a long line before us. So we gave up and have had cup noodles as dinner.
• Hells (6/5): No Idea About Hospitality - It really misses the mark with all the little details for the price. No glasses in room. Kitchenette with no utensils (no cutlery). Went to ask for spoons to eat cereal at 10am and reception was locked and no one around for hours. Asked for extra pillows and was flat out told “no”. Walls are paper thin and we had interrupted sleep non stop in what is advertised as a quiet space. Yes room has balcony however don’t get any ideas about sitting on it. No chairs. Our room was right on street and each time a truck went past the whole room shook. Could hear every footstep of people upstairs. The mosquito zapper was also right outside our room (201) and was particularly annoying along with the all night light. But a bigger issue was NO servicing of room for entire stay. No towels and being humid they never got dry. The room was very clean and close to the cable car, however not enough positives to outweigh the negatives. Very disappointed as there is not much to do in Gora after 7.30pm and it would’ve been nice to end a busy day with a drink on the balcony and a good nights sleep.

• nalem (10/5): Very nice hotel in hakone - We stayed only one night but it was very pleasant. Very spacious room with comfortable beds. The downside was the prices at the hotel restaurant, was expensive for a really small portion but it was our only option as everything closes around 4 pm. Other than that, this place is recommended
• Rare (10/5): A great stay for a great buy - Overall stay was great. Minus the fact that the place was very far from convenient stores or restaurants; the hotel also need a lift. It would've been very helpful especially if patrons are bringing multiple luggage.
• Conner (8/5): - Nice little hotel, tucked away from everything so come prepared. There are convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. There's no elevator, so make sure that you're able to haul your bags up a couple of flights of stairs. The rooms are beautiful and spacious.

• Pierre Lannevil (6/5): Too expensive for what you haveD'ont stay in Gora - Really nothing to do if you stay....Poor restaurants that close too early.... this hotel very far by foot from the only convenience in town....hill to climb on the wayback...staff so so....Go to Hakone-Machi or Hakone-moto both located at the lake Ashi....Much more interesting
• Ann (6/5): - The room was very spacious, and initially clean, with 2 small double beds and a sofa and the location was excellent - 5 minute walk from Koen Kami station and very quiet in amongst the trees. However during our 4 night stay the room was not cleaned at all - no towels changed (and we were only provided with 1 towel each); no bins emptied, no top up of toiletries. If we were staying longer I would have asked for clean towels but each day we expected they would be changed! This coupled with there being no breakfasts available means that I cannot rate the hotel higher.
• Neil (8/5): nice room & outlook + kimonos, limited kitchenette - The room is very pleasant, decor and outlook. Kimono gowns in the hotel were a nice touch and allowed us to take family photos dressed in Kimono. The kitchenette facilities are less than desirable with only disposal plastic cups and inadequate electric power-points / cords to boil water. Facilities were limited to boiling water and a microwave. A hot plate exists but no pots, pans, plates, bowls or cutlery. An exhaust fan over stove area is low and easy to hit head on for anyone over 1.65 m / 5ft 6 tall. If you come by train to Gora, the hotel is up a really step hill from the train station, so best to take cable car 2 stops if you have luggage.
• Richard (10/5): Gem of a hotel in a beautiful area - We traveled to Hakone after 4 days in Tokyo and this was a perfect place to unwind after the big city. This hotel is in Gora, and very vertical little town. The hotel is convenient to the railroad station, if you know about the cable car...we did not and pulled our luggage up two very steep hills to get there! Once we figured out the cable car getting around (and up and down) town was a breeze. The staff at the hotel was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were spacious and neat as a pin.
• Lisa (10/5): Nice clean hotel - We loved the room at the end of the hall 204. Very quiet and clean. The hotel provided clean and new Japanese outfit to wear inside the room and it was beautiful. We loved the toilet with seat warmer and it is fantastic!
• Michael (10/5): Quaint hotel with Great amenities - Hakone is known for its onsen, the Hakone hotel is for those who don't need to onsen experience. If you stay I recommend buying the dinner option. There isn't much in Gora that is walking distance. The place is small only 8 rooms and the staff has a Fawlty Towers feel. But in a good way. If I were to return to Gora I would stay at Hakone Terrace hotel again.
