- lisa (5/5): I had to check out same day as I check in due to the reasons i mentioned above so i couldn’t give a more detailed review - It is an affordable accomodation if you are on a budget. owner is friendly to certain extend. not the closest to the south gate entrance. no fridge and there were flies in the room. halal eateries you will have to walk outside of old town, which is 10-15minutes from this accomodation.

She upgraded us for free because our luggages were too big for the room we had booked. The hotel itself is really charming with its wooden and traditional architecture. Sometimes when people made noises in the neighbouring room you could hear it because the isolation of the walls are not perfect but we nevertheless slept well.

The rooms are very nice (we tested two on different nights), especially the beds that are sooo comfy. The staff is caring, speaks very good english and is really helpful for organising trips around the city (we went to tiger leaping gorges as most people).

The staff are really kind, welcoming and very helpful. Mandy at the reception was very helpful and speaks good English. Everything was really nice, comfortable, cozy and we really enjoyed our stay. Mandy (manager) is excellent at all, arrange tours to Snow Mountain etc...(make sure you go-once in lifetime experience) easy location in old town... Everything was good... I was just a bit over the old town cobblestones and cookie cutter shops...maybe I could stay outside old town next time... the tour to Snow Mountain was a bit hectic I guess it was all lost in translation but got to 4680m so achieved the goal...
- Philip (10/5): Fantastisch - Uitstekende locatie, mooie luxueuze kamer en een heerlijk ontbijt. Mandy, de ‘host’ is allervriendelijkst, spreekt goed Engels en regelde het vervoer naar onze hike door de Tiger Leaping Gorge zeer efficiënt (zelfs met een ontbijtpakket mee!).

- Federico (9/5): very nice hotel - The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it a cozy place to stay while exploring Liljang. The owner speaks excellent English and has provided us with all the information and recommendations we needed for dining and sightseeing. The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is decent, and the shower features a glass enclosure with great water pressure. The toilet occasionally had an unpleasant smell due to the sewer system, which is a common issue in China.
- Amelia Shu Peng (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful host, upgraded our room and helped to arrange for YuLong Snow Mountain tour. Room was cozy and antique with modern bathroom facilities. Located in LiJiang old town, close to South Gate, which seems more quaint and less commercialised than North Gate. Shower temperature less stable, but not too big an issue, it just takes longer time to come to the optimum temperature.
- Amanda (9/5): A homely, welcoming stay in a great location in the old town of Lijiang. - Its character and location were great. Mandy looked after us well and made helpful arrangements for local trips, keeping us well informed. There was nothing I didn’t like. It would be good to have some sachets of tea in the room so we could make a cup of tea.

- Federica (9/5): - This guesthouse is a lovely place in Lijiang Ancient Town, very central but not in the middle of very busy streets. The rooms were nice, clean and very comfortable. Mandy our hostess was super helpful and nice, she helped us arrange our trip and transport to Shangri La and also advised us on beautiful short treks which we could do in the time we had available. Highly recommended!

- yi (10/5): - Good stay + This hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from the south gate of Lijiang Ancient Town. It's a traditional two-story building, and the rooms were clean and very nice. The roads inside the ancient town are paved with cobblestones, so it's difficult to carry a suitcase, but they will come to pick you up if you request. The owner, a woman, spoke fluent English and was very helpful. There is a large, gentle dog at the inn. The accommodation fee was reasonable, and it was a very pleasant stay.

- adele (10/5): - Mandy is the star of this property 10/10!! We have never met anyone so helpful and friendly before and during our travels to over 50 countries. The property is in a central location in the old town. Mandy had plenty of suggestions for trips and restaurants. We were grateful to have our laundry done too. Breakfast is served each morning until 10.30am. Our room was cleaned each day with fresh towels. Good hot shower. Our stay was great value for money!! More options at breakfast with some different fruits. Didn’t like the smoking in the common areas (but smoking is very common in China). A little tidy up of the common areas hiding the cleaning equipment and deliveries (water etc) would make a good first impression.

- Andrea (10/5): Ubicación y trato inmejorables - Muy buena ubicación, en el centro histórico de la ciudad pero en una zona más tranquila y apartado de la zona más transitada y bulliciosa. El trato es inmejorable, la chica de la recepción es encantadora, te ayuda con las maletas y con los traslados a la estación/aeropuerto y con cualquier duda que tengas sobre qué visitar. A nosotros el día que llegamos nos recomendó un restaurante para comer cerca del hotel que nos gustó mucho. El desayuno es muy bueno, te lo preparan en el momento: noodles de arroz con huevo frito, café y té. Incluso un día que no pudimos desayunar porque teníamos una excursión muy pronto, tuvieron el detalle de prepararnos unos sandwiches para llevar. Habitación y zonas comunes muy cuidadas y acogedoras. Nada.

- Theodore (10/5): - Mandy, who runs the hotel, is incredibly helpful and friendly. She organised an airport pickup for us, and arranged for someone to help us carry our luggage through the old town. She even prepared sandwiches for us to takeaway the day we left because we were leaving early in the morning. The hotel itself is a beautiful courtyard building and the beds in the rooms are especially comfy. An extra bonus is the extremely fluffy and friendly Alaskan Husky! N/A

Il est plein de charme mais ce que nous retiendrons particulièrement c'est la gentillesse de l'hôtesse. Elle nous a aidé pour tout et s'est chargée de nous organiser notre journée en dehors de Lijiang mais aussi de notre transfert pour la gare et plein de choses en plus. - Yukari (10/5): この宿のおかげで素晴らしい旅行になりました。 - 夫婦で3泊滞在しました。 麗江古城の南門から近く、 観光スポットへも散策しながら行くのに ちょうど良い距離の場所にあります。 ゲートから荷物を運んでもらえるので、 スーツケースがある場合は迎えのタクシーをお願いするのが良いと思います。 滞在前からwe chatで気遣ってくださり、 到着時はあたたかいコーヒーで 出迎えていただきました。 滞在中はずっと雨でしたが とっても可愛い大きなワンちゃんがいて 美しい中庭をテラスから眺めているだけでも幸せな気分になりました。 お部屋は清潔でアメニティも素晴らしく、 快適に過ごせました。 朝ごはんの米線と餃子は手作りの優しい味で 本当に美味しかったです。 中国語も英語も話せない私たちでしたが、 翻訳アプリで親身に対応していただき ゲストハウスならではの細やかな気遣いに感動しました。 初めての雲南旅行でしたが、この宿を選んで本当に良かったです。 ありがとうございました！ ありません。

- Tomasz (10/5): - The hotel was amazing! Located in the old town and a short walk of main attractions. The room was big and the courtyard is really beautiful. The owner was sooo helpful! Helped us with tickets and saved our trip to Jade Dragon Mountain. Also, hotel offers free breakfast. We were leaving early and couldn't eat it, so we got sandwiches to eat later. Really recommend this stay!
- Guest (10/5): Super cute and nice inn in the middle of the beautiful lijiang old town! Super helpful owner who will do everything for - The location is incredible near the South Gate and in the middle of the ancient town yet very peaceful and quiet. The service was very kind and thoughtful too. Although we didn’t get stung there were some Miskitos in the room on the ground floor, but none on the first floor of the room we booked for another night.
