- Karen (8/5): Mooie omgeving, gedateerd en grootschalig - De Lobo Lodge is grootschalig. Ligt in een prachtige omgeving. De lodge zelf is wel wat gedateerd. Helaas was het zwembad tijdens ons verblijf in maintenance. Diner was prima verzorgd, alleen zaten we met maar 3 tafels in een hele grote (volle) ruimte. Als je buiten de periode van de grote trek komt, houdt er dan rekening mee dat er niet heel veel weggetjes zijn om te rijden (op tracks for africa staan er meer) en op de borden worden circuits aangegeven, maar deze zijn veelal niet begaanbaar (je kan van daaruit wel in ongeveer een 1-2 uur naar de Mara rijden). Dat maakt een verblijf van meerdere dagen minder interessant.
- Nancy (2/5): - The property has been closed for two weeks and we were not notified until we got there in the middle of the night we need an explanation and refund. We were left in the middle of a national park stopped by rangers because its illegal to drive in the national park in the night putting us at high risk and not knowing where to go at that time of the night it took another 5 hours to get to the nearest hotel arriving at 2in the morning and having to pay a ranger for escort I will be making an official complain

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely location but a bit far from Mara River. Decor was stunning. Staff very helpful manager very accomodating. Food was soso. Didn't get to use the pool or gym etc.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is an amazing property built in the late 60's. Very rustic and built into a rock mountain with fantastic views over the Northern Serengeti. You must appreciate rustic and that not always will you have power and hot water, it is very very remote and difficult to get to. I'm an adventurer and this was my favorite of all the places we stayed, but not for everyone. It could use some maintenance, but overall the food was great and is a one of a kind accommodation. We booked and paid for this through Expedia but had difficulty when we got to the property in that they didn't have our reservation on the books. They required us to pay at the desk in cash, and provided a receipt. We are working on our refund from Expedia for our credit card payment.
