marvin (10/5): Close to the airport - The hotel is being renovated. The new restaurant is very nice. The food is delicious. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The pool was rebocated recently and its clean. The bathroom/ shower in pool area abd reception were renovated and they are very nice and clean. We asked for another room because that room smelled like mildew, it was on the first floor, when i moved the pillows 2 big spider came out. The other room was on the 2nd floor better than the other one but it was old. It had a phone that didn't work, like who uses hotels phones anyways? There was a lamp that had rust. I hope they remodel those rooms too. Other than that we liked our stay. The staff addressed our concerns immediately and they were very nice about it. The hotel is close to the airport, there's transportation to the airport for $6 for 2 people. The night stay is very affordable, we paid about $63 including tax. Next time we will try the glamping cottages because some have already being renovated. We will stay again

Rudys (2/5): - There was construction going on and they started working with power tools at 6am 7am I complained because the noise or cutting and grinding next door to our room and was told it was approved by manager / before checking out I asked that needed to speak with manager but was told it was off until Monday but they were aware of the issue and there were many complaints about the situation I know they are fixing the hotel and is understandable that they need to work but before 6am on a Saturday/ at least they should had waited until 8am or if I would have been told then would had ask for another room or cancel the reservation No apologies and person at front desk didn’t care Would never be back There is plenty hotels around

I ASKED FOR A REFUND AND THEY TOLD ME THEY'RE GOING TO CONTACT THE OWNER AND TO THIS DAY I STILL HAVE HEARD BACK FROM THEM. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I ALREADY REQUESTED EXPEDIA TO TAKE THIS PLACE OF THEIR LISTINGS. YES, IT IS THAT BAD!!!

There is no sink at the outside bathroom so there's no way to wash your hands (unless you use the shower) after going to the bathroom. The room was fine with AC. Overall the stay was fine - close to the airport. HOWEVER! I PAID MONEY TO COME THERE AND SLEEP AFTER A VERY LONG DAY OF TRAVEL. AT 6:00 IN THE MORNING THE STAFF WAS SO INCONSIDERATE. THEY WERE CLONKING AROUND, TALKING VERY LOUDLY BACK AND FORTH FOR HOURS WHILE I DESPERATELY WANTED TO SLEEP! IT SOUNDED LIKE THEY KEPT HITTING THE WALL TO THE CABIN, THEY DRUG A GARBAGE CAN AND PATIO FURNITURE AROUND THE CONCRETE DECK BACK AND FORTH RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY CABIN .THEY WERE ALL TALKNG LOUDLY - YELLING ACROSS THE POOL CONTINUOUSLY AND STARTING AT 6 AM. THIS WAS EXTREMELY INCONSIDERATE, UNAWARE, AND WOULD KEEP ME FROM STAYING THERE AGAIN. ALSO THE CURTAINS FOR THE TWO WALLS THAT ARE SLIDING GLASS DOORS ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH SO PEOPLE CAN SEE IN THROUGH THE CORNERS OF THE GLASS DOORS. THE CURTAINS ARE VERY THIN AND SEE THROUGH, SO I COULD SEE MEN AND WOMEN CROSSING RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY BED BASICALLY WHICH IS WEIRD AND AN INVASION OF PRIVACY. WALK AROUND THE POOL AND NOT TWO FEET FROM THE BED. THE MANY LIGHTS OUTSIDE AT NIGHT ARE EXTREMELEY BRIGHT AND THE ROOM NEEDS WIDER BLACK CURTAINS! IT FELT LIKE I WAS ON DISPLAY IN THE BED. THE STAFF TALKING SO MUCH STARTING AT 6 AM WAS THE WORST!

Beggxis (10/5): - If you arrive to El Salvador on a late flight and your final destination is far from the airport this is a great place to stay.The rooms are basic and clean.They have a shuttle service that you can request ahead of time that will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel for a nominal fee. If you rent a car through the hotel, the shuttle service is free. Their restaurant had pretty good food and affordable prices. Their customer service was great!

The hotel was conveniently located plus they offered taxi for $6, and I was able to get a breakfast before heading for he airport at 5:15am while it’s supposed to be opened at 5:30!! Super thankful for that. Had a quick and restful night, breakfast and quick drive. All I needed! Thank you.

Yaneth (4/5): - I booked here for the convenience of being close to the airport after a long flight and not having to drive a 3hr drive at night to La Union to visit my family. This hotel is very dated. I turned on the shower and the water was initially brown. The tv picture was staticky when flipping through channels. I had also booked a car and what they gave me was a Toyota that had a broken rear light, many scratches on the car, a couple of dents. I made sure to take videos and pictures of the car. Well when I returned the car, they were charging me for scratches that they said were new and I argued with the front office staff because there were previous scratches in the area they were charging me for. They needed to contact their “mechanic” on the repair cost and I literally asked, is this a joke because this car had all these previous scratches, dents, broken rear light!!! They charge people and don’t even fix whatever is wrong on the car. All in all, I ended up paying an extra $30 on the car rental…I will never stay and get a car rental from Argueta Hotel again. The place looks a mess. parking and entrance carway was not developed and in premises, it seems construction may have been going on for a while, but has stopped and there is materials and debris everywhere. The restaurant is limited, and mosquitos are everywhere and will bite you good. Take your OFF spray seriously.

Anibal (6/5): - I stayed here just for one night because is very convenient to the airport. Staff service was great and they try to help and inform you about the area. The guards, restaurant and cleaners staff are very friendly. Even though the quality of the room are poor and smells terrible, I can recommend stay here for the low price and near to the airport.
Alice (8/5): Ok for one night - I stayed in their economy room which is a cabin, very small but ok for one person for one night. Their pool is beautiful and clean. Their staff were polite. The only complaint is that the “bathroom” is outside of the room, and there is no sink or anywhere to hang a towel or clothes. So you basically have to wrap yourself in a towel after shower and go back to the cabin, while people in the pool can see you. There is also a shared bathroom you can use. The shower did not have hot water. Overall felt very primitive. But if you dont mind its a clean place to stay close to the airport.
