- Besnard (10/5): - L'accueil est super. La cuisine également. L'auberge est très bien aménagée. Authentique. Pleine de charme. Brahim est aux petits soins pour nous. Nous avons passé 3 jours extra. Balade en dromadaire. Havre de paix. Absolument rien.
- Grzegorz (9/5): Cudowny - Mieszkasz w ogrodzie palmowych z kozami :) Można w namiocie, a można też w lepiance z łazienką. Klimat pustynnego kampingu.
- Indāns (10/5): - Warm welcome, very laid back and chill atmosphere. Owners very friendly. Nice to hang out in the evenings in the courtyard till late.

- Susan (10/5): We had a fantastic time! We're very grateful for all your help making this a really good trip. - We absolutely loved staying at Auberge la Palmeraie. It is a beautiful peaceful place amidst palm trees and also an ideal base if you want to explore the desert or get away from a busy life in the city. Our host, Ibrahim very kindly ferried us to and from the bus stop and the whole team looked after us, providing delicious meals and tea and were very helpful whenever we needed anything. We didn't stay long enough.
- Ola (10/5): I wanna come back - Im so in love with this place that i wished i could spend here a couple of weeks. Its a perfect place to relax and appreciate the surroundings of nature. Lack of internet in the rooms seems to be an advantage. No such thing
- Hanchun (10/5): A magical experience in a local auberge near the desert - We really enjoyed our stay in the auberge! Ibrahim, Brahim and Mohammed are a wonderful team, they made us feel at home! We love the friendly and local atmosphere at the place. The music played by Brahim and Mohammed around the camp fire, the Tajin and soup prepared by the auberge are out of the earth (the best one we had in Morocco!!), truly exceptional! The room is simple but very cozy, we had everything we needed. We also became friends with their dog Booby, who liked to play with us and enjoyed our accompany. We booked a 2-days-1-night tour with Ibrahim and it was the best decision ever! We had a complete dessert experience with 4x4 drive, camel ride at the sunset, camping and sand quad on the desert, delicious meals prepared with fresh ingredients on site. We chatted the whole night by the camp fire with our dear guides and listened to their magical music. We were in a good location and far away from other tourists. We climbed up the dune in the night, lied down and enjoyed the quiet moment with millions of stars just above our head. We couldn’t imagine a better experience! Will definitely come back for another stay! Nothing, everything was perfect!
- Tina (9/5): Superb - Accommodation is basic but has everything you need for a stay in the desert. Don’t expect a riad but a authentic, superfriendly and helpful stay at Ibrahim’s auberge.
Ibrahim will do all in his power to help you make your dreams come true. We came to Mhamid without booking anything in advance with a family of 4. He fixed us quad rides, arranged a trip to the desert and camel rides for better prices than you find online. It was a pleasant stay.
- Moore (10/5): Great place, great people - Great locale, wonderful staff who came and met me at the CTM BUS station so I wouldn't have to find the place on my own at night.
Super warm and sincere welcome. Tea, conversation and music followed.
Room was great- clean, comfy spacious.
Shared bathroom was clean and well organized.
Nice little table just outside of my guest house was perfect spot for breakfast the next day, which was delicious.
Great option for a very authentic trek into desert but I had made other plans or I would definitely gone for the six day option. Spoke to a woman who had returned that day and she was just raving about the experience, how private and removed the trek was from town and how wonderful Mohammed was during the entire trip. She also said it was the best food shed had her entire time I'm Morocco. That I hadn't booked more time to stay as well as take the desert trek!
- Elisabeth (10/5): Exceptional - The auberge is kind of wonderful hideaway. Very quiet, with simple, but very clean and cute rooms.
The food was amazing ( ate my best Tajine of our whole marrocan trip, breakfast delicous and rich). The two guys who run the auberge do an excellent cooking.
Also booked a private tour to the desert, which for me turned out to be perfekt: away from the big camps, alone under a quiet sahara sky and my guide Mohamed played the guitar after a tasty meal at the camp fire... Although we couldn't quite communicate in a common language we had a funny time.
After sunrise I sat there all alone at the highest dune to listen to the silence of the desert.
Couldn't have been better. Nothing
- Ariane (10/5): L'auberge palmeraie is a perfect place to be :) - its a magic location.
- Fn (9/5): Superb - This was a really beautiful place to stay. With different authentic types of accommodations. The hosts are very kind! And as a bonus a adorable little puppy.
- Manuel (10/5): fanatastic staff - great experience
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julian (7/5): Very friendly and authentic experience with good breakfast - Very friendly owner and staff. They offered to pick us up from the bus station which arrived late evening and took us to the accommodation. We sat down with the owner and were offered tea and had a chat before going to our room. The room was small and basic with a separate bathroom. The bed had a mosquito net around it which was welcome. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Good wifi signal outside but not in the room. Plumbing in the bathroom didn't work.
- Robert (10/5): A few days of relaxing and a desert adventure - I hoped to relax for a few days, and it was great for that. Meals at Auberge Palmeries are great. One evening there was fantastic music in various Moroccan styles. I had also hoped to go to Erg Chigaga and they also do very flexible trips there. Wonderful! The desert bivouac was much nicer than I expected.
