Guest Reviews
- Harun (8/5): -
- Dion (6/5): Cheap in a good location. Poor security though. - Cheap. Underground parking. Pool was nice. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. No security. People walking in off the street. Gate is not locked. It’s basically a backpackers with single rooms. Confusing instructions on how to get keys and get in.
- Samantha (3/5): Regret. Never Returning. Never Recommending - Not much really. Garage door was broken so it never closed and gave thieves an opening to steal cars. Room door was broken and took a lot to open. Toilet seat broken. Water pressure was dangerous enough to peel skin. Nothing was clean. Table had burn marks all over. Broken blinds. Dodgy feel. Photos were strategic to make it look high end but it isn't. Cost was too high for the room.
- Francis (5/5): - Was close to attractions Tried to be charged a 2nd time with the automatic check out as check-in and out is all done online. No face to face contact.
- Christopher (5/5): - AC broken
- Helaena-Marie (2/5): Very Poor but staff were helpful - The staff were very helping and accommodating in issuing a refund for the stay as it was extremely poor. It was very dirty, the shower door was broken and wouldn’t close, the soap dispenser was snapped off, there was someone else’s hair all over the shower, there were stains and marks all over all the walls and furniture. The walls were so thin I could hear the next door room listening to their movie from our bed. Didn’t sleep the entire night due to the above reasons.
- Brianna (1/5): -
- Dylan (8/5): -
- Teqkilah (1/5): - Nothing Creepy, broken door- didn’t lock properly, fridge was broken, no staff anywhere, small
- Natalie (6/5): Needs Updating - Location was close to trams and the staff were friendly There were dirty dishes in the drawer, glass found on the bathroom floor and could have done with a deeper clean
- 박 (2/5): -
- David (2/5): - Aircon was too old blowing warm air Aircon very old didn't cool the room
- Benjamin (8/5): - My son and I enjoyed the pool and the room was tidy and comfy. The water pressure in the shower was perfect The gate broke for parking. But wasn't a real issue
- Georgia (5/5): - Good location and had air con, spacious room Tap was nearly falling off room was a bit outdated
- Kristin (1/5): - Very close to the tram. The jailbirds junkies and sex workers made the place uncomfortable very noisy from 10pm till 5am so sleep non existence. No bbq worst of all people coming in my room when I was out going through my things. I paid but left over 24hrs early as its not a safe place. The management are aware and contribute to the problems. Council and police should be made aware.
- Emma-Rose Henderson (1/5): absolutely horrible. i wasn’t told about the $100 security deposit until the day i checked in, and it’s been a week sinc - nothing everything

- larissa (3/5): I would not stay again and unfortunately i don't recommend!!. - The location. Just 6 minutes from the casino Pretty rundown facility. The A/C was leaking in my from.
It needs a makeover. For $255 a night, definitely wasn't a good value for money.🥺
- zhu (5/5): Ok - Showering water very small
- Nat (5/5): - The staff were helpful and so honest. I left jewellery behind accidentally and they found it and returned to me. The place was extremely run down, but the staff explained this was due to a major upgrade that was pending, which made sense.
- maharjan (3/5): Good location with lots lots lots of cockroaches - Location Lots of cockroaches
- Rachel (8/5): -
- Cailan (8/5): -
- Richard (4/5): Would not stay here again. - Good location close to beach. Lots of things. It felt damp. Carpet grubby and damp. Not the best room in the motel - tucked round the back. Blind wouldn’t shut fully. Window in bathroom cracked. Generally not pleasant. Had to complain but at least they refunded 20% of the cost - like they knew it was bad.
- Casey (1/5): Shit - Nothing. There was cockroaches, dirty cutlery, kids were in the pool at 3am in the morning. Our room had a knocking sound every 30 minutes. Mould everywhere. Do not recommend. No compensation or nothing.
- Elizabeth (6/5): -
- Neil (1/5): -
- Neptali (4/5): Fair - Accessible to tram and near the beach Tenant was noisy middle of the night
- Rachel (5/5): -
- Lawrence (7/5): -
- Rod (7/5): Good value & location - Well located right near tam stop Unfortunately had noisy guests next door
- Julie (3/5): - airconditioning There was no staff anywhere. Our milk was left outside in the sun, and the door was so damaged that it was difficult to lock. Although I had paid in full through Booking.com, I still had to provide credit card details, which had a charge associated with it, and I couldn't check out online, as it would have charged my card again.
- Myrna (7/5): - the shower make a lot of noise
- Brandon (5/5): Average but needs attention to security and cleanliness - Good Pool, Good Location and easy to find Parts of the room were not clean. Need plumbing attention with pipes next door to us as they are very disturbing while they are having a shower. When they turn it on it makes a huge raddling sound in the walls so when we are trying to sleep at night or have a sleep in during the early morning, we can not as it wakes us up and keeps us awake.
We also did not like how the parking gates are not locked up at all times, which makes it easy for irresponsible people to break into cars or smash cars up while we are asleep or in the city doing shopping, especially when the hotel tells us they are not responsible for any damages which means they won't pay our insurance if anything was to happen. It also allows unwanted people strolling around the building at night or day as they can come in by the unsecured gate in the parking garage.
- Arben (6/5): - Pool
- Chantal (9/5): - There was noting else available so we took this for 1 night. Old. Small.
- Brittany (1/5): I left immediately - Literally nothing !!! The BLOOD and URINE stains on the bedding would be a start !!!!!!! The yellow pillows just a stained filthy quilt insert between two sheets , had to walk over massive dehumidifiers/hoses and cables to get to the room there was not a single part in that room that was clean or hygenic and as two female travellers alone at night checking in the suggestive comments from a much older man who supposedly works there was not appreciated either 🤮🤮🤮
- Samantha (4/5): It’s was ok to just sleep for the night - Fridge didn’t work
One of the power points ( next to bed) didn’t work
- Krishang (4/5): -
- Iman (5/5): - No one cleaned our room for 3 days even tho we asked
- Melissa (5/5): Was an ok place to rest but get rid of the deposit scheme. - Location was great Room was tiny as a bigger person I couldn't even fit on the toilet properly.. I didn't like having to pay then leaving a deposit aswell. That deposit still hasn't gone back into my bank. And I had something roll under the bed to find a bunch of rubbish under there that I ended up picking up myself. I didn't like the bo fan in the bathroom aswell as the toilet paper went soggy with the humidity.. the step into the bathroom almost tripped me because I didn't see it. Coloured strip's might help.
- Rogelio (6/5): -
- Chloe (7/5): -
- Pauline (5/5): - Location and comfortable bed. The bathroom needed a very good clean.
- peter (3/5): Disappointed in the property - Not very much. The bathroom shower screen was broken. The staff were disorganised. The property was in general poor repair and it was overpriced for what it was
- Ashlee (5/5): -
- Yuanyuan (3/5): -
- Glen (7/5): -
- Rhys (1/5): - Location Unsafe, not clean
- Cheral (5/5): The TV went half the night next door could hear it -
- Nicci (1/5): - The best part about the stay was we had multiple of our family members stay at the same facilities. The photos on the website and booking.com is not how the apartment/motel is presented. The room was filthy. The air con unit was clogged with visible dust and mould; the mattress was heavily stained. The floors, walls and windows were heavily filthy The bathroom doors didn't shut properly. The pool had broken tiles which my children hurt themselves on. Was unable to watch either TV as the remote had no batteries. I flagged my concerns with reception advising that my children were asthmatic and the dust and mould would be detrimental to their health. Reception advised there were no alternate rooms and that they would resend the cleaner. The cleaner never came. Reception were not onsite over the weekend I contacted the facility at the end of our stay and expressed my disappointment, providing photographic evidence of the filth to be told there is nothing they can do for me.

- Lacey (10/5): -
- Ritah (7/5): - Spacous and clean. The air conditioner and some tv dint meet my expectation.
- Deacon (8/5): -
- Saavedra (4/5): The photos look very pristine and well presented but disappointing to see in person. Nonrefundable so we had no choice b - Location as it is fronting a tram station. The bathroom doors are close to giving up, it detaches when you slide them and I had to fix it every time. Molds in the bathroom, you can visibly see it and smell it. The smell of drainage in the bathroom. Stained doona. Ceiling fan not working.
- Malhy (10/5): -
- Roland (4/5): Not worth the money at all - Staff were friendly.
The pool. Check-in keypad code didnt arrive, wouldnt allow us to check in prior to arrival. Had to knock on reception door, which was locked, until somebody appeared.
Thin walls, single pain windows mean you can hear all passing traffic and outside conversations.
No hand soap in bathroom.
Air con struggled to get cold, I checked the filters and it would appear this unit hasnt been cleaned in a very long time, if ever.
For £195 ($390) I felt cheated. This motel is not in Surfer’s Paradise either, thats a 29min walk away. Its only 3 stops on the tram, but still…
- Shea (1/5): - nothing the property was horrible. had black mould. the blinds would not shut due to a portable aircon. I didnt stay. I had my child with me and didnt feel safe. They did approve a refund. as we checked in seen the room and checked out.
- DMITRII (7/5): - Прекрасное расположение, персонал, готовый прийти на помощь, чистый бассейн. Навязчивая рекомендация пройти check-in online
- Kurbonshoeva (5/5): - location uncomfortable sink, cockroach,
- Alsilo (1/5): There was no hairdray. No shampoo no toothbrush. I couldn’t even take a shower in. - I didn’t sleep in because the room and bed were so dirty There was no hairdray. No shampoo no toothbrush. I couldn’t even take a shower in.
- Hussein (2/5): -
- Lee (6/5): - Beds wore very comfortable Dinning table was very old stained and damaged
- Danielle (8/5): Place met expectations for the young adults who stayed here. - Did not have breakfast None
- Zachery (6/5): If it was $100 a night and if i wasn’t waking up to cockroach’s in my bed - They were available The cockroach’s in the bed and room
- Leon (7/5): - Close to shops and beach The security gates and garage gate were not working properly. The property would benefit from some TLC over DIY fixes.

You’ve charged me $300 that I haven’t received back deposit ..We did not damage anything.Overpriced! Won’t stay again .coukd of stayed crown towers nicer ,, cheaper
- vighnesh (10/5): -
- Rossiter (1/5): -
- Jessica (3/5): There were cockroaches crawling around (I saw two), the walls are filthy as is the shower. There were stains on the bed - The location. Check in was easy The property was dirty and had trash everywhere
- Shrestha (1/5): Never coming back in here for staying. Just avoid this place. - Nothing. My stay at this property was extremely unpleasant. As soon as I arrived, there was a strong petrol smell all around the inn, and once inside, the room had a persistent mould odour. The toilet’s sliding door was difficult to open and close, and the bathroom slide door was completely missing. There was also no complimentary water provided. To make things worse, a constant hissing noise came from the shower even when it wasn’t being used, which was very annoying. The worst part was the noise at night there seemed to be junkies staying next door, shouting and running around throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. The room conditions, unpleasant smells, and lack of safety and comfort made this one of the worst experiences I’ve had at an inn.
- Merly (8/5): I can recommend your place to my friends - The location was nice close to everything Nothing else
- michael (6/5): -
- Ysatis (5/5): -
- John (4/5): - Perfect area Weird smell in the room and aircon wasn’t working so room ended up really warm, ceiling fan didn’t make much of a difference.
- St4cey (3/5): Cheap for a reason - Great location very close to where I needed to be! Rain was really nice. Pretty night view. Shower didn't stop dripping, no extra pillows or blanket, rouggly 10 small cockroaches came out in various places, throughout the night. No hand soap, had to use shower gel.
- Ellie (1/5): Nightmare! Had to book hotel opposite and lost out on our money!! Don’t bother booking there - Close to tram The checking in! Had to check in online but took ages for them to send codes. Called the number on the website and on the door of the reception and it went straight to voicemail. Sat outside for ages with no answers. Ended up having to go across the road and book with the hotel opposite. Not stayed at this motel because we couldn’t get in but by the reviews I’ve seen about it, I’m glad I didn’t!!
- Christian (8/5): -
- Wayne (4/5): - Air conditioning didn’t work.
Foot traffic going passed the door all night.
Car park had rubbish all though it.
Tv was very small.
- Nathaniel (6/5): -
- Rose (3/5): disappointed - convenient location the room that was advertised wasn’t what we got pictures were different
basement had food ,rubbish on top of walls
the sliding doors to room were loose
the aircon needs cleaning had mould didn’t give enough cool air
it was somewhere to stay for a night won’t stay there again
payed before arrival then charged again was sorted by booking.com communication is a must so the visitor isn’t made to feel like a idiot
- Natalie (2/5): DO NOT STAY - Good internet connection I regret staying here, it was the cheapest for the weekend but I should of research, full of mould, cockroach’s, a fridge that dint keep the freezer or fridge cold enough , the tiniest bin and unsavoury guest who makes you feel uncomfortable, 330am in the morning a drunk guest decided that he would knock on every-door yelling abuse which I required my sleep for my medical procedure the next morning, no privacy unless blinds stay shut from neighbour property’s as they can see directly in otherwise, unsafe big step into the shower which can be a trip hazard and if your not careful you can burn yourself on the boiling hot water . I’m still puzzled why there was a Band-Aid on the ceiling fan so dint use it. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything and the corridor we were in meant the doors was constant getting slam and echo right through. The fire station down the road which wasn’t mention that it was in the neighbourhood with call out blasted the sirens which made it impossible to sleep in some morning. There was no power-points next to the bed so couldn’t charge my phone near by as I was awaiting an important medical call. The garage yes was good as it was secure but had glass and other material through out. I found it difficult to check in and located our room as it was down a werid corridor I was unable to add more photos to save others checking in here making a mistake to stay like we did.
- Vanessa (8/5): - The location N/A
- Phillip (4/5): - Good location. Very noisy, Small bathroom, needs pest control.
- Dawn (7/5): - Reception very helpful, location to trams,, Very dated,no smart TV,and only 1 plate and 1 side plate,in the room for 2 guests, but for the price overall was good.no bbq facilities, pool was nice and clean.
