Отель очень скромный, но чистый, персонал отличный, позитивный, готовый помочь в любом вопросе. Хотелось бы улучшить оснащение номера. Например добавить полотенца, т.к. одно полотенце для всего не очень гигиенично. Нет фена, это тоже некоторое неудобство. Вода наливается в бутылку, не совсем понятно откуда ее наливают. Стоит в номер воду давать в фабричной упаковке. Нет самых простеньких тапочек.

• Jeni (10/5): Lovely hotel, great little beach, top breakfast - Such a lovely welcome at this hotel. All the staff were lovely, especially those on reception and Florence at breakfast each day. That girl was insistent we should eat plenty of fruit! Perfectly placed at the quieter end of the town. An easy walk in both directions to nice places to eat and drink. The turtles didn’t come to play while we were there! We’ll need to go back.

This was the 12th out of 13 accommodations we had visited in Sri Lanka over a month and was easily the most expensive and easily the worst equipped room. Also disappointing breakfasts: we have had some beautifully prepared breakfasts during our visit to Sri Lanka and this breakfast was poor in comparison. If it had not been for the delightful staff the score would have been lower. The noise from the street (main road from Galle to Matara) and ocean made for four sleepless nights for is, as light sleepers.

• steve (9/5): Great location on Mirissa beach - Location was great, at the end of the beach so it was quiet with great views. Beach bars and restaurants only a short walk away. The hotel restaurant was very good, great food and lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was really nice. Room was clean and comfortable with a comfy bed. The view from the balcony was nice, we could see along the beach, and also saw turtles right by the hotel in the ocean. It’s been mentioned several times but a fridge in the room would be a massive improvement.
• Natalia (10/5): - Познакомились с этим отелем случайно в 2022 году, тогда было мало отзывов рискнули и поехали, испытали полный восторг, локация, вид, шум моря,отличные завтраки перекрыли старенький ремонт. С тех пор мы заезжаем каждый год и с каждым разом отель становится лучше и лучше! Теперь ко всем старым плюсам добавился ремонт, надстроили новый этаж, расширили кафе( очень вкусная еда там). Лучшее место Унаватуны вдали от шума оживленных улиц, наверное,единственное ,где нет толпы на пляже. Вообщем , Sun’n’sea наш любимчик в Шри Ланке❤️

• Charlotte Viktoria (8/5): Wir würden wiederkommen! - Die Lage ist Traumhaft, der Blick aufs Meer 🌊 Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns als Familie willkommen gefühlt, hätten gerne noch eine Nacht verlängert. Die Pizza, aus dem Holzofen - „Tiger“ Prawns, Chili und Limette mega 🍕 🥰 Das Brot zum Frühstück ist zwar auch „nur“ Toast, wird hier aber tatsächlich selbst gebacken. Die super super laute Toilettenspülung. Wir konnten Nachts nicht spülen, unsere Kinder sind davon wach geworden. Auch das Mobiliar müsste teilweise mal erneuert werden.

The hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Recommend staying here. Restaurant was good too, as was breakfast. Nothing!

Personel dokłada tutaj kolejne wartości.Smaczne jedzenie w restauracji dopełnia szczęścia.Prześpij noc ,zostań trzy dni a zakochasz się w tym miejscu!!! Do oceanu 5 metrów, do plaży gdzie możesz spokojnie pływać 15 metrów.Szum fal i bliskość oceanu daje spokój , z tarasu zobaczysz żółwie.

Svegliarci ogni mattina con la vista del mare è stato incredibile. L’albergo si trova proprio sulla bella spiaggia di Unawatuna, perfetta per i nostri bimbi. La nostra camera era grande e pulita, i letti comodi e la colazione super. Abbiamo anche mangiato una pizza deliziosa che non ci ha fatto rimpiangere quella italiana. Un grazie speciale a tutto il personale, per la grande gentilezza e disponibilità. Dulcis in fungo l’albergo ha anche una storia interessante: la sua fondatrice, Muharam Perera, lo ha costruito con pazienza e tenacia, e con il suo amato albergo è sopravvissuta e rinata dopo lo tsunami del 2004. La perfetta metafora della forza, intelligenza e resilienza di questo meraviglioso paese che ci portiamo nel cuore.

• Оводкова (10/5): Комфортабельный отель прямо на берегу океана. - В отеле были второй раз. Специально ехали в это место, так как это один из лучших отелей западного побережья. Признали это, поездив по другим отелям и сравнив комфорт, удобство расположения, пляжи и кухню при отеле. Не раздумывая бронируйте. Здесь сделан хороший ремонт, отель расширяется, появился третий этаж, лаунж-зона наверху. Завтраки на выбор из 6 вариантов. В стороне от тусовочных мест, поэтому тихо. Кроме Новогодней ночи, она была веселая, громкая, салютная). Хозяйка отеля контролирует отельную жизнь, почти каждый день бывает здесь сама. Номер удобный, сейф, полотенца для пляжа, терасса, особенно на первом этаже - с лежаками - отличная. Пляж и океан в этом месте комфортный для плавания, больших волн нет. Лучше и желать нельзя. Звукоизоляция отличная, если шум океана непривычен и мешает, можно плотно закрыть двери терассы. Иногда проплывают черепахи, их появляющиеся головы, можно увидеть из окна или с терассы. В общем, если нужен спокойный, комфортный отдых - рекомендую, особенно хорошо для семей с детьми. Хочу сюда опять). -
• tarasen (10/5): - Расположение понравилось. Рядом магазин по продаже спиртного, но в нем холодных напитков нет, а в отеле отсутствует холодильник. И это минус. Завтраки хорошие, заказываешь по меню. Номера просторные. Море рядом, на террасе можно пользоваться шезлонгами, что мы и делали. Персонал очень приветливый. Рекомендую.

• Monika (10/5): - Klid v hotelu, umístění na kraji pláže, milá obsluha (od krásné recepční po obsluhu v restauraci a paní majitelku). Skvělé snídaně (výběr z několika jídel - vajíčka, ovesná kaše, francouzské tousty, jogurt s medem, palačinky, curry) a ovoce. V hotelu nám nic nechybělo. Z jídelny bylo možné pozorovat želvy a viděli jsme je každý den i při plavání. Děkujeme za hezký pobyt všem a zdravíme Sisilu a Florance, kteří se snad neumějí mračit. Nic

Provides beach towels. Close to Galle Fort by tuk tuk and theAmazing turtle beach A socket at the table for a kettle. Some tea/coffee sachets can be kept in the room. For the floors upstairs if anything is needed there is no way to contact reception unless you go down or call from your mobile. In a family generally all dont take Sri Lanka sims. Towels though very clean can be replaced with newer stock. They look pretty old.

Mr Ameen the Manager was so prompt in answering and resolving our queries. A little walk and restaurants. Gets pretty quiet at night. Beautiful waves sound. Dining area atmosphere is too good sitting by the waves. Its time to change to new Towels and sofa covers for a fresher feeling though they are very clean. Bread is just too fresh the local curd is amazing. Food menu can be updated. Bottled mineral water in the room. A socket at the table for a Kettle. Guests generally arrive very tired. Some tea/coffee /milk sachets with cups would be nice. Also an intercom or a button to connect to the reception would be be great as there is no way to connect with staff down unless you go down yourselves.

Polite staff, good restaurant onsite. The only thing missing from 100% was that there was no fridge in the room. The hotel was about 10 min walk away from all the restaurants and bars, but I would rather see it as a plus.
• Irina (8/5): - Отель стоит прям у океана. Шикарный вид с балкона. Да, шумно, но нам был в кайф слушать шум океана, спать не мешал. Место у отеля уединенное, с другого конца залива, что просто отлично, т к на другом конце полный треш (толпа народа, десятки пришвартованных лодок, непонятные люди и т п). Мы ходили на пляж рядом с нами (5 мин.), который называется Banana Beach. Он олдскульный, но там очень дружелюбный и услужливый персонал. Вечером купали прям у отеля. В номерах сделан косметический ремонт. В целом нормально. Нет холодильника и чайника. Тихий вентилятор и мощный, мы даже кондей ни разу не включали. Завтраки в ресторанчике внизу по меню (у нас был включен в проживание). Не очень разнообразно, но вкусно. Фрукты стоят без ограничения. Кофе норма. Кстати, на 2 этаже находится кухня. Очень чистая. Также огромный плюс - это персонал. В ресторане работают невероятно улыбчивые и доброжелательные мужчина и женщина. Они даже выходили с нами попрощаться, когда мы уезжали. Периодически были тех. проблемы в номере, но они мгновенно решались метрдотелем. В ресторане, к сожалению, не удалось поужинать, но все хвалят. Вообщем отель советуем. ps прочитайте историю основательницы отеля. впечатляет. нет чайника, нет холодильника в номере

В метре от океана (пляж подходит для купания, на патио в отеле хорошие лежаки). Фена изначально не было, выдали по запросу. Ежедневная уборка, замена полотенец. Хороший ресторан при отеле. Слабый вайфай. Скромные завтраки. Изначально было только по одной небольшой подушке на человека, но по запросу принесли ещё две.

It does not have a fridge, but we did not need it. The hotel provides a beach towel. They provide only one bath towel per person (there is no small towel for face), otherwise all good. The kettle and electrical adapter were provided under request. Only one bath towel per person, and sometimes the water in the shower is not very hot

• Andrew (10/5): - Very friendly, welcoming, professional staff. We were greeted with a refreshing drink on our arrival. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with an outstanding view of the sea. We ate a delicious breakfast served by wonderful Florence who has worked at the hotel for many years and we had lovely chats with. We chose to have an evening meal at the hotel which was excellent, I had the house special which was an extremely tasty vegetarian dish. Overall we highly recommend this hotel, we had a great stay.

Семейный номер с шикарной террасой. Убираются и меняют полотенца по запросу. В номере нет чайника, фена и холодильника. Но я попросила, и дали в номер чайник и фен. Холодильник использовали на кухне общий.

• Roger (6/5): Litt under middels hotell. - Hotellet har en flott beliggenhet, men elendig frokost. To egg med en kald pølse var det vi fikk. Første dagen var det ikke varmtvann i dusjen om morgenen. I tillegg ble ikke rommet redd opp og ordnet til tross for at dette ble bestilt. Flott beliggenhet og hyggelige mennesker trekker opp, men service og fasiliteter trekker ned.

• Bakshi (10/5): Best option in Unawatuna! - Fabulous stay! Rooms are nice, clean, balcony with amazing view, staff is very nice, food is excellent! Right ON the beach; the only hotel with such an advantage! Beach is also shallow enough to enjoy and waves are softer to relax in. A turtle did appear and were seen during 2 swims. Hotel has a nice rooftop top; unobstructed views! Nothing.
• Grant (9/5): Perfectly placed at quieter end of beach - Tucked away at the quieter end of Unawatuna Beach this hotel is just perfect. You can easily walk (around the beach (or tuk) if you want to party. Rooftop bar is coming soon, hopefully it’s open by the time we come back, because we will. Loved this place so much.

• Camille (9/5): Most amazing view and great clean bedroom - For me this hotel was absolutely ideal and had everything I was hoping for. It is not fancy but super clean and comfortable, and the view is the most beautiful you can imagine, right over the sea. I also loved the beautiful waxed concrete bathroom. They provided beach towels in the rooms which was super handy. The breakfast was very nice as well. 5*
• Jana (8/5): Unawatuna beach view hotel with nice breakfast. - Large hotel room with view on the Unawatuna beach and sea. Small beach in front of the hotel. Good breakfast in the restaurant.
• Judy (9/5): Superb - Lovely views, fab attentive staff, large, clean rooms and Kasy was wonderful organising a Christmas banquet, homemade pizzas, taxis and safari trip.
• Richard (9/5): A well run hotel, with a great view of Unawatuna beach. - A great position overlooking the rocks and beach. A good breakfast and a good sized room and bathroom with a very good shower. Their Pizza wasn't bad but not as I would normally prefer it. The staff were all very polite and friendly. Very nice to lay out on the sunbeds in the shade of the trees and with the sound of the sea in the background and although there is no pool, there is a handy shower nearby to wash of the salt water and sand and to cool you down . A lovely walk from the hotel to the other end of the beach and back will take about 40 minutes. The road at the front of the hotel is rather busy and noisy and can be a bit of a distraction when using the restaurant. But, we didn't notice it while in our rooms, nor while on the sunbeds.

Recently renovated and has a nice open, airy feel downstairs. The hotel is sandwiched between the sea and a very busy road, so quite noisy at night.

• Heath (9/5): Incredible views from the rooms and the restaurant. - Incredible location right on the eastern end of the beach. Lovely sunsets Staff were very friendly and always accommodating. The rooms were modern but minimalistic, spotless and with good aircon.
• Michele (10/5): - We enjoyed staying two nights at Sun N Sea in early April. We enjoyed both the view of the beach/ ocean as well as the food. We were able to walk along the beach and into town easily. The manger helped us find a store which sells a computer charger. We had accidentally left ours at home. The beds were very comfortable and we all enjoyed surfing lessons.
