• Alison M (7/5): Nice garden, clean pool, decent room with clean bathroom. - Location was fine although drivers (Bolt & Grab) couldn't find it easily. The garden was lovely and the birds in the morning were delightful. My personal preference is to have light coloured sheets because I find it hard to tell the cleanliness of dark sheets and towels.

• Geoffrey (10/5): I was only there overnight in transfer to Lao, but really enjoyed the lovely owner and staff. Whenever I might go back t - A little oasis just outside the city. Beautiful grounds and friendly people. There is a bar and restaurant serving European and Thai foods

• Paul (8/5): Little Gem could do better - Great pool staff food and the boxer dog from the owner big room decent power in the shower Beds rock hard 😤 stayed in Room 9 and the air-conditioning was so weak and placed in the wrong place of the room bed frame was held together with tape not great

• Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - Pet friendly resort Owner was proactive in keeping my dog safe by giving us a room with a gate and showing me where my dog could play. Great for solo travellers over 30 because of the friendly atmosphere.
• Emily (9/5): Superb - This was a wonderful place to stay (apart from the excessive smoking) everything was clean, the pool and the rooms. The staff were everso kind and welcoming - it really is a home from home! The owner, Jan, shared swiss cheese with us and gave toys to my son as soon as we arrived. The staff were all really helpful and nice! Almost everyone there was a heavy smoker - and the venue is in a way that the smoke just feels like it is everywhere. I could smell it at breakfast, when swimming ete. This wouldnt be an issue if you are a smoker, but for me as a non-smoker with a kid, I wasn't used to it and it was too much for me.

There is a harmony in every way, swimming pool, bar and restaurant tables, decorated with taste by Thai paintings, spacious rooms each with its private terrasse, nice teak furniture, fridge, even an equipment to charge phones, and above all, people of course, Swiss and Thai, ready to share their love and knowledge of the joyful Issan culture as well as the culture of peasants work.
