• Jordan (4/5): The facility overall lacks in comparison to some other hostels I’ve stayed at in AUS but the staff were so so delightful - The location was great, the staff were so so lovely and the idea behind these capsule sleep quarters is very cool. The mattresses were very thin and the pods get quite hot during the day so cooling them down and getting comfortable for the night is a larger task than you’d want it to be. I also feel the frosted glass of the shower doors should be a solid material instead for better privacy.

• Hang (10/5): - Wow I was amazed how clean the hotel was. Staffs are very friendly. Price is reasonable. Bed is comfortable
• Samuel (6/5): - Location is good and staff are very friendly. Air-conditioning is good in the pod and plenty of space for luggage storage. Beds uncomfortable as very thin mattress and poor pillow - so not the best night sleep. Toilets and showers could be a bit cleaner as not the best.

• Paige (8/5): A very convenient and cost effective stay. - Convenient. Private area. Super close to central station and any transport I needed to go on my adventures during the day. The PowerPoint in the capsule meant I could charge my devices overnight and during the day. Loved that I could securely store my suitcase and my backpack in the locker and in my pod without having to worry about other people accessing it. Showers and toilets very small and didn’t feel very hygienic. The fridges smelt as there was old uncovered food in there.

• Veronica (7/5): - Capsule was clean, modern, felt safe. There was a safe inside, tv, charging ports, big locker and capsule locks automatically when shut. Staff was nice and very responsive. Great location, very good value for money. Pretty quiet, lots of privacy. Barely saw anyone in my room. Limited check in period, bathroom on level 2 needed a scrub on its floor, level 4 was clean. Didn’t know I needed to request/ pay extra for towel and check in was closed so I didn’t have a towel on my first night. Felt stuffy inside, at Occassion they sprayed very strong fragrance.

Poor execution - Location was perfect , privacy during sleep instead of curtains compared to other hostels and dorms, staff were amazing specifically Yulia, she was very helpful and accomodating, friendly and kind. Not clean, felt and looked old, outdated and dirty, the guests didn’t respect the kitchen area or even respect the noise environment, I tried contacting the hotel through phone, email and through booking.com and not one single reply. Toilets / bathrooms tiny and with no lock, not enough rules and regulations surrounding hygiene and sanitation. It didn’t feel right staying there.

• Annika (4/5): - Det var privat med bra lås för väskor och i kapseln. Det var också väldigt enkelt att checka in sent och checka ut tidigt. Bilderna på rummen var väldigt gamla och mycket av möblerna hade blivit skadade eller gått sönder sen de togs. De hade också gått genvägar vid bygget som gjorde att det såg väldigt billigt och otrevligt ut i sovsalen. Det var även mögel i badrummet amt duschen. Jag glömde även en sak efter utcheckning och fick inget svar när jag försökte kontakta både på booking och genom mejl samma dag av ut checkning.
• Joshua (7/5): Great location for Sydney - Great location and cheap stay the pods are not the most comfortable or sound proof but in all can’t complain with the price. Shower and bathroom facilities shared so cleanliness wasn’t the best at times until staff could get round to cleaning them.

• Ella (3/5): - Lovely and helpful staff, great location, cool beds. I feel bad for the people who work here, and felt angry at the way they were treated by some guests. They were only ever helpful and lovely to me. Bathroom facilities were unhygienic, small, and there’s no way to dry hands. The kitchen was often dirty with scraps and flies around. Many rude and inconsiderate guests. A bad smell lingers around the whole place. Communal areas are ugly and unpleasant. Considering how small the individual capsules are it’s surprising how little effort is put into communal areas and facilities.

It‘s not the owners fault that the guests are weird, but they still allow certain things to happen. - It‘s located nice and central Very dirty, weird & aggressive & noisy guests. One russian dude kept urinating in the trashbins and threatening other guests Also: it‘s not possible to switch off the lights in the main rooms. So there is always light coming into the pods. Very annoying if you like it dark. The pods are incredibly warm and the place gets a lot of street noise also

Tranquilo, cómodo, con bastante privacidad, y las cápsulas son muy espaciosas. Se puede regular el aire y las luces. Comodas de acceder. Los baños son muy chicos y la verdad que dificulta usarlos.

• Madeline (3/5): If you are happy with simply having a bed to sleep in, despite the unpleasantness of the facilities, then this may be th - A fun concept and idea for the aesthetics. The facilities were far less appealing than their appearances in the photos. From the moment I stepped in the building, there was an unpleasant smell. The room, the capsule and rest of the facilities had an unpleasant odour. The whole building looked in such a state of disrepair, despite efforts to cover it up. The amount of mould in the bathroom and laundry facilities was concerning, and seemed a likely health hazard. I simply wanted to leave as soon as I had arrived. I suppose you ‘get what you pay for’.
• Jack (5/5): Cheap. Cheep. Cheep - For the money you pay it’s not to bad. But brace yourself. Pods and lockers don’t exactly lock. Cards can open other pods and lockers. Pods are clean but the building is old. And a tad run down show blocks are clean. But no where to hand your stuff or a bench so you items don’t get wet. Great if you just there to crash after a concert or need a short stay. A little bit run down. Not secure. Showers need hooks / shelf.
• William (5/5): Promise in advertising not fulfilled- very disappointing. - The bright newness in the ads has worn off. Decoration is now shabby and cleaning of areas outside capsules poor. Air conditioning in capsule too fierce. Individual capsules need to provide control inside capsule that works. Bed linen needs additional sheet. No towels provided. Need to inform on check in that they are offered @ $5. By time realised reception was closed. Men's bathroom not available and locked on my floor = highly unsatisfactory meriting reduced charge. All bathrooms open and kept maintained. Reception open for full hours advertised. Major improvements in cleaning. Walls resurfaced. Rough wooden wall covering replaced with serviceable materials. Ability to close capsules but provide access to fresh air not air-conditioning.

I hope they read and fix the below The mattress & Pillows (Too thin), The wool blanket wasnt washed! No reception at Night! A pod's alarm started ringing at 4AM which woke up the whole room! Tiny Toilets & Showers! It barely fitted me! Am only 180CM 80KG! Not Clean enough and the whole place needs a renovation The air condition in the pod is too loud! No coffee machine/ Vending coffee machine. I tried the capsules in different cities and that was the worst

Fyra badrum för alla kvinnliga gäster vilket var alldeles för lite. Smutsigt på golvet i rummet och toaletterna var helt okej men kunde ha varit renare.

The elevator itself is full of mold and you might get a lung infection before reaching the room floors - see photos. There are a ton of homeless ans hobos ppl staying in the property common areas. The kitchen area is disgusting and smelly. Has cockroaches. The bathrooms despite efforts of staff are nasty. Pods though fancy are not cleaned well. There will be a wet smell - not surprising since it is a fully enclosed box. Airation is not great. Just a single setting blower on top like a bus.. The blanket provided is nasty. Bring your own. Money saver yes.. but get ready for post stay trauma.

Showers very dirty, mould all over the ceilings. The door to my room did not lock. I was given one under sheet and one thick blanket that definitely was not washed. The aircon blasts on cold. My plug socket did not work in my pod. The pod smelt very bad as well. Toilets are disgusting. Very dirty old hotel. The capsule hotel is a bit more expensive but so much better. Avoid this place!

She stays in one of the capsules in the only lady's room 202. Maybe improvements in the toilets and bathroom 🚻 too small an not enough ventilation. So it had a bad smell kinda lingering

• sambB7877XU (2/5): Don't book a room at Space Q, book Germs instead - I stayed at the Space Q Capsule in early 2026. The Space Q is terrible. it's like sleeping in and around a rubbish tip. There is Germs every where. homeless people walking around naked. it is the worse accommodation you can ever stay at. The hotel industry must have standards. when it comes to Space Q, standards have been checked out the window. i got sick at the Space Q. I was out of commission for 2 weeks. The state government must focus on closing this place down. potential death can occur from germs and diseases. if you are game enough to book at Space Q after reading at the horrible reviewed, trust me before you check-in, make sure you get a tecnis needle shot against all diseases. There are male room only, and female rooms only. That does not exist. female prostitutes always come in to the men's pods and you can hear them having sex with men in the Pods. How sad, iv never heard that you need to pay $5 for a town at the worse hotel in Australia. i have never seen dirtier bathrooms than Space Q. you open the bathroom door and all you see is mud on the tiles, how disgusting Space Q,you win hands down. You are crowned the worse accommodation in the world. Shut this place before someone seriously dies
