Hasta ofrecen clase de yoga (recomendable) gratis por la mañana. Muy buen desayuno. Para ir y recomendar y volver a ir! La señal de wifi en la habitación podria haber sido mejor; pero es un detalle al lado de todo lo bien que estuvo la estadia.

• Markus (7/5): Excellent and very new and clean place to stay at a fair price, only breakfast is a bit substandard. - As it is a rather new Hotel, the rooms have been up to date, very clean and comfortable! Hotel and the Rooms are built in a classical looking Newari Style and are very well equipped. Due to its location it is a rather quite place to stay! Hotel is at the edge of Thamel in an area where lots of new hotels have been built in the last years, not in central Thamel, therefore you need to walk a bit in the evenings to get to all the restaurants and bars. Breakfast selection and amount is a bit poor/substandard compared to other hotels in the area.

Friendly and extremely helpful staff, beautiful garden, good service, rooms are beautiful, I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Kathmandu!! The room doors are very loud when they shut and as guests are coming and going it can be sometimes quite loud at night!

• Dia (9/5): The best place for a pleasant stay at Thamel, Kathmandu. - I booked two nights at Nepali Gahr one before and one after my Everest Base Camp trek. The second night I got a free upgrade the the suite room and it was exceptional. Staff is very welcoming and kind, food was great and the overall experience was amazing. Highly recommend. Nothing. Really.

• Madella (10/5): Love warm style of the property. - The venue has a fantastic old style vibe. It is an island of peace in the middle of a chaotic city. The property is very stylish and there is nothing tacky or garish to it which is a welcome break from the general feeling of being in Kathmandu. Staff is kind and polite but that is quite common for all hotels in Nepal.

• Jiayu (9/5): Nice honeymoon stay at Kathmandu - It was a very nice hotel in the heart of the Thamel area. The staffs are very nice and kind and decorated our rooms and even made us a cake for honeymoon celebration! The breakfast is also delicious! Strongly recommend!

• Alison (9/5): The Nepali Ghar is a traditional Nepalese hotel and the customer service is excellent. - The staff were all very friendly and told us some history of the hotel. We liked very much that we were upgraded to a suite. Before my stay I had lots of questions after I booked and the response was fabulous. My partner is 6 foot high so the shower could have been higher as he had to crouch.

• Sarah (10/5): Best hotel in Kathmandu - Everything about this hotel is impeccable - the staff, the rooms, the restaurant, the facilities. It's a quiet and friendly oasis in the middle of the loud and busy city. The hotel kept our bags for a couple of weeks while we went trekking in the mountains, and even offered to let us re-book a non-refundable reservation using credits when we thought we would be delayed out of Lukla by a day or two. In the end we made it on time for our original date and enjoyed some well-deserved luxury. We loved our stay here and would not hesitate to go back.

A real oasis, with a lovely garden to escape the noise and bustle of Thamel. Lovely rooms with Nepali features, so much more pleasant than a chain hotel. Excellent restaurant and very good breakfast. Staff really friendly and helpful. Everything was great

• Gordon (10/5): - The hotel was excellent. New, clean, with an old world charm. Would strongly recommend to anyone. Kathmandu is a highly congested city with poor infrastructure. This, however, has nothing to do with the Napali Ghar Hotel which is a wonderful oasis in the midst of it all.

• Kasey (8/5): - Amazing hotel and once I got my bearings and tackled the busy a Thamel streets, the hotel was excellent location. I loved my stay and the staff were helpful. The only thing I would take note of is the soundproofing of rooms - there isn’t much. I had a room overlooking the street the hotel is located on and got a free show from the pub opposite. Traffic however does quieter down and start up again at reasonable hours. Further, I could hear the guests in the room next to me enough to make out whole words. And lastly - the door alarms! If you don’t shut your door properly, it’ll alarm after a moment. Maybe a gentle reminder to guest that closing your door needs a bit of an extra push would help here as after a minute, the beeping is frustrating.

• Anna (10/5): Exceptional - An authentic masterpiece in Thamel. I stayed for a 4 nights in a room Kailashkut Suite, it was extremely comfortable, I just disappeared into the room. All the staff are very friendly and responsible. The breakfasts are delicious on the patio, but I went to restaurant GAIA for breakfast to meet friends. The Hotel is close to everything important in Thamel: streets with traditional goods, pharmacies, nail salons, store with high-quality cashmere, kind of European coffee shop Himalayan Java, best restaurants (I highly recommend visiting the restaurant The Third Eye) , shops with original equipment for mountains. Thank you very much, my adventure wouldn't be complete without staying at Nepali Ghar Hotel before and after trekking to Tibet.

• Ghanem (10/5): Clean and classic styled Hotel, Great Location & amazing staff. - We had a problem with the number of guests showing as only 1 on the booking, but the management did a great job handling it with professionalism and fixing the issue for us. Its not my first time with them and definitely not the last. Hot water issue. They do have warm water that runs through the taps but for people who prefer hot shower it might me an issue.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing the perfect environment for me to relax and decompress from the stresses of travel. The staff at the hotel were consistently attentive and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They were quick to assist with any requests and even arranged a private car for me to explore the sights in the area. In addition to their excellent service, I was pleasantly surprised to find complimentary chocolates waiting for me in my room each evening—a thoughtful touch that added to the overall experience. The restaurant at Nepali Ghar Hotel offered a diverse menu with a variety of options, all of which I found to be delicious. Every meal I tried exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the hotel's location proved to be very convenient, allowing me easy access to explore the vibrant neighborhood of Thamel.

They go above and beyond in every aspect of a hotel and restaurant they are always there to help in any way they can.The rooms are very nice and clean with all the modern conveniences. Shopping and nightlife are all around. This is also I very nice place to stay and relax.
