- PabloCapi (8/5): - Cocina super amplia.
- Filip (6/5): - Easy Check in and friendly staff. Noisy hotel guest at 5 AM, and noisy beds.
- Bolette (4/5): -
- Sipau (8/5): Enjoying my stay there - Location is really good The size of the sink to wash face in the bathroom is small but other than that everything’s really good

- David (10/5): - This is my second time staying here. Every time I visit Ninety Mile Beach, I have to stay at this place. It’s very close to the beach, and you can also go to Cape Reinga Lighthouse to watch the sunset. I absolutely love this place — I’ve been here three or four times already.
This is our second stay at this hotel, and we’re very happy. The rooms come in a variety of options. For example, some units have two bedrooms with up to six beds, which is perfect for a group of six adults. That’s really great. None

- Simone (8/5): - The beds were good and the room was quite big. Also the kitchen was big and well equipped The lady in the reception wasn't very enthusiastic. Also the kitchen was very dirty, lots of bugs and they closed up the kitchen and the hotel during the night. The village is very quiet and no restaurants after 7p.m.
- Blair (8/5): - Great location
- Michael (9/5): - Fun vibe. Great location, very tidy A bit run down and smelly roon

- Rafael (7/5): Really good for solo traveler. - The location and flexible parking spots Some are not tidy in the kitchen. Didn't have space for our kitchen/food stuff because the fridge and freezer are almost full. We understand anyway because those were the peak days.
- Colin (5/5): Unless you’re after just the basics don’t bother. - The room was okay and there was plenty of space to cook. The room was basic and there wasn’t much else to it. The swimming pool is a bit of a joke.
- Kerstin (8/5): - Sehr schöne Accomodation. Sehr zu empfehlen.
- Billi-Jo Louise (8/5): -
- uddin (3/5): I had to change the room with extra coat it cost me a lot compared to the room. - It’s close to shopping centre that’s it nothing else good. No fan no fragrance.

- Candice (10/5): Perfect - Everything If I were 10-20yrs younger the dorm beds wouldn't have been an issue, but I'm old haha
- Abbas (8/5): -
- Tania (10/5): It had decent facilities, & the staff making up the rooms did a good job. - I liked that it was walking distance to town. It was abit of a hike to the supermarket.
- Aileen (3/5): - The bedrooms were clean, but there was only power outlet in the room.
Parking was available. The kitchen and bathroom areas were not clean I thought. There were a lot of outdated products in the fridge, no sharp knives and clean towels.

- Alister (7/5): -
- Libor (5/5): - Location Water was dripping from the ceiling, only my bed was infested with fleece, others in the same room didn't have this issue. Wi-Fi exists but was not usable.
- Helen SN (9/5): Great hostel with plenty of activities and parking - We stayed at Beachcomber Lodge & Backpacker in Kaitaia and had a very pleasant experience. We stayed in a shared 6-bed dorm, and the room was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms and toilets were shared, which is standard for this type of accommodation.
We especially liked the large, well-equipped kitchen. It was very spacious and had all the necessary kitchen utensils, with several sinks, multiple stoves, and plenty of fridges, which made cooking very convenient even when the hostel was busy.
There was also a spacious common lounge area with books and board games, as well as table tennis and a pool table, which was a great bonus for relaxing in the evenings. Free parking was available on the hostel grounds, which was very convenient for those traveling by car.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and overall the hostel offered a comfortable stay with good facilities and a nice atmosphere. A solid choice for budget travelers in Kaitaia. The bunk bed in the shared room had a broken ladder on the top bunk, which made some noise when I climbed down while others were sleeping. Also, the kitchen and common lounge are closed at night, so access is limited during late hours.

- Jay (5/5): We are 3 adult stayed in triple sharing room, it was a short stay of overnight. The only inconvenience is toilet and bat - Close to city centre and friendly staff Too small toilet sink
- Bharani (1/5): - Kitchen Area and play room area. I didn't feel the room was worth the cost
- Mareta (6/5): -
- joanne (7/5): - Not enough power points in dorm room

- Angelique (9/5): Enjoyed it, felt comfortable being there. Made some new friends. - Good sized room. The facilities were cleaned regularly and to a good standard. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The mattress on the bunks were a little bit uncomfortable.

- Aggarwal (8/5): -

- CHONA (10/5): We enjoyed our stay, comfy beds, clean room and quiet. - Wifi signal is slow.

- Anne (8/5): Good stay. Handy to where we needed to get to. - Very convenient situation. All was good.
- Tracey (10/5): Great stay - Location Tv didn't work, just was faulty but we didn't care as we were next to the kitchen
- Jackie (7/5): - Had everything we needed for an overnight in town. Could have been a bit cleaner.

- Catjoydavies (7/5): Good - Nice enough and has everything you need
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Amy (8/5): Pleasant - Staff very friendly. Plenty of parking. Room was nice and quiet.
- Luke (8/5): Great spot for the money, highly recommended - Almost everything, great people and value for money was decent. The rooms are nice and I was even upgraded. Only slight gripe was that the room backed onto a property that had a heap of very loud dogs that were mostly fine but occasionally fired up
- Carina (7/5): Good - Table tennis, mini play ground, pool for kids and to spent time well while cooking. Add at least 1 more fan, it's hot
- Susan (6/5): - We booked a room for 3 adults. Only 1 pillow each, no bedside cabinets, 1 teaspoon. I know there was a communal kitchen but a microwave would have been a nice touch and some cutlery and crockery. Bathroom was awful, small, 1 loose tap and an impossible to use small sink, if you bent over to actually spit your toothpaste into the sink, you hit your head on the soap dispenser very inconveniently located jus above sink! Paid $166 for it, expected a bit more tbh. Won't be going back there I'm afraid
- Michelle (9/5): Cool. - Everything. It met our requirements. This will be our 1st choice always now. N/A
- Jane (8/5): Good value for money. - Good value for money - I had a whole dorm to myself which was delightful! The socialising area is outside the dorms so a friendly and joyous party until midnight made it tricky to sleep. It was a Saturday night though so I guess it was fair enough for the seasonal workers who seem to be accommodated there to want to relax!
- Hilda (10/5): Overall excellent I am grateful for the accomodation - The welcoming and friendliness of the staff. Being disturbed by other back packers while sharing the dormitory
- Theo (7/5): Good and nice people - Location where nearby
