The room had a few cockroaches but possibly due to being in Uganda it's inevitable. There was lack of Ugandan culture in the cuisine, the menu was too European and I think it's a missed opportunity to showcase Uganda and standout. Uganda has rich foods, the staff attire could represent Ugandas beautiful colours/ tribes

Because the level of care, attention, and all-round excellence was suspiciously good! The professionalism? Top tier. The warmth? Even better. I came as a guest and left feeling like long-lost family (the kind you actually like visiting 😂). The welcome I received was so genuine, I almost forgot I had paid to be there — it felt like I’d been personally invited! Now let’s talk about my room… WOW. Not only was it beautiful and super comfortable, but it quickly became the hotspot. I was hosting family and friends like I owned the place — laughter, good vibes, mini gatherings… honestly, at one point I considered charging entry fees 😅 We had an absolute blast! Thank you all for making my stay unforgettable. You didn’t just meet expectations, you completely overdelivered. I will 100% be recommending Mistel Hotel to everyone back in London — whether they asked me or not! Can’t wait to come back… please keep my room ready 😌 Nothing.

I spoke to the front desk they adjusted my stay, $400 was supposed to be credited back to may account. Despite numerous calls and promises of refund I haven't received my credit back. I have been in contact with the hotel manager Ann who has been promising to credit my account back so far nothing has happened its over 3 weeks since my travel. If they can help track down my refund. Clean nice large room with good maintenance. We parked our car and did not have any hitches. I knew the quotation was Bed and Breakfast only to be told to pay for breakfast seperatelys. Hotel accomodation should be quoted as Bed and Breakfast and if that is not the case this should be made VERY clear.

There is such a range of healthy foods it is amazing and beats a number of hotesl I have travelled in USA and Europe easily. We love the environment that is offers. The spa needs more experience for the price but the environment of the spa is very nice. I thought it was interesting if you stayed more than one day they were not replacing soaps, shower caps, coffee, or other things everyday if you used them.

The staff were welcoming and made us feel right at home. The kids especially enjoyed the stay — from the spacious rooms to the pool area, everything was perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent throughout. Mestil never disappoints; it’s always our go-to place whenever we’re in Kampala. Highly recommended for families! The only small issue was with the TV Wi-Fi connection as it was slow when the kids were watching YouTube, but it didn’t take away from the overall great experience. Mestil remains our top choice whenever we’re in Kampala. Highly recommended for families!

The service throughout the hotel was seamless — from the front desk to the restaurant, housekeeping, and concierge. Every interaction felt personalized and thoughtful. The hotel itself is stunning — elegant, modern, and immaculately maintained. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort you could ask for. The serene atmosphere makes it a perfect escape within the heart of the city. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, Mestil Hotel Kampala delivers a five-star experience in every sense. I left feeling refreshed, appreciated, and already looking forward to my next stay. Highly recommended! One thing that stood out negatively was the event organized in the Mestil Gardens during my stay. It went on quite late into the night, and as a resident of the hotel, it was rather discomforting due to the noise. In addition, access to the hotel that evening was quite challenging because of poor parking arrangements and congestion caused by the event. Despite this inconvenience, I still believe Mestil Hotel Kampala offers one of the best hospitality experiences in the city. With a bit more attention to event management and parking logistics, it would easily be a flawless five-star stay.
