• Saule (10/5): Классно! - Отель расположен в удобном месте, буквально через квартал большая современная улица, а сам отель в тихом месте. Много автобусов рядом. Можно сесть на автобус 8 и объехать весь город. Есть общая кухня. Можете чай пить в номере, есть чайник и чашки. Хозяева гостеприимные, подскажут как добраться до нужного места. До центра недалеко, ходит автобус, можно прямо до национального музея доехать. Рядом много кафешек и магазинов. Лепешки и самса на каждом углу продается. Великолепное сочетание старого и современного города.

• Vernie (8/5): Good facility, decent location, bring ear plugs to cancel nighttime noise. - Good size room. Nights 2:00-4:30am thumping/banging noise from overhead ceiling. Some sort of commercial activity in large room on above floor. Reported to manager, nothing was corrected.
• Daria (9/5): Соответствие цены и качества - Удобное расположение, если хочется погулять по самому красивому району Душанбе, посидеть в кафешках. Номер был очень даже неплох, не было никаких проблем с запахами, канализацией и т.д. Все чисто, удобно, комфортно. Во дворе хостела ночами бывает шумно, постояльцы очень общительные, забывают, что ночью многие предпочитают спать.

• Jonathan (4/5): Nice hostel but the dorm room is just awful - The staff, they were always around and helpful. Also it is a great place to meet other travellers. I was also in the private rooms and they were fine, but the dorm are just a mess The was such a strong sewage smell in the toilet, it was just awful!! The beds were hard as rocks, and the air conditioning barely worked as it seems the aircon was older than the hostel. The worst part was going to the toilet, this hostel does need to give some care to it.

• Lucas (9/5): Great base in Dushanbe - To us, it was the perfect first base for starting our road trip through Tajikistan. The staff is very helpful, the room is clean and the bed comfortable. Exchanging money and organizing logistics for the journey ahead were easy as well. We could also park our Landcruiser on the street in front of the building.
• Marie (7/5): All in all a good budget option with kind staff - - walking distance from the airport - good price for a private room - confortable and clean private room with A/C, kettle, good bed - very helpful staff (and good rate to exchange - excellent wifi - supermarket nearby - other travelers were not respectful in terms of noise in the evening (rooms are poorly insulated) - the kitchen was quite messy and pretty dirty - a bit far from the center - as already pointed out by others, the towels are made of a strange material and the bathroom smells bad (sewage).

• Ivan Dominik (9/5): - A "tourist container" with all its pros and cons. Very decent rooms, very helpful staff - the place really feels Western. Cheap kurutobkhana offering extra large portions of kurutob is just a few minutes of walk from here. Location is great - on a walking distance both to the airport and to the city centre. It is logical that everyone goes here - we also chose this "verified hassle free" option twice. Probably the only place in Tajikistan where we felt we are flooded by other tourists - if you enjoy tranquility and like to stay away from other tourists in order to get in touch with locals, you might consider choosing another place.

• Rebekah (9/5): Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient in Dushanbe - We stayed in a private room and were really impressed. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a big difference in the heat. Having a mini fridge and a kettle in the room was a huge plus — it was so convenient to store food or make a cup of tea without going anywhere. Laundry facilities were also great, with plenty of space to dry clothes on racks. It was conveniently located close to a main road with cafes, restaurants and a great supermarket, and a short taxi to the main attractions like independence monument and the museum. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, even arranging a taxi for us to the border when we left for Samarkand. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with thoughtful touches that made our time much easier. The only downside was the private bathroom. It was quite small, and getting in and out of the shower felt cramped, but a very minor thing that wasn't an issue for a short stay!

• Juliette (8/5): - Chambre double plutôt confortable. A 20-25min à pied du centre de Dushambé La cuisine est grande et plutôt bien équipée, mais il y a tellement de monde de l'hostel que ce n'était pas très agréable d'y cuisiner ni d'y manger.

• Jarmila (8/5): - Ubytování bylo dobré - na přespání. Nejdříve jsem měla pokoj, který byl tmavý a mírně zatuchlý. Vzhledem k tomu, že nefungovala toaleta, tak mně přestěhovali na pokoj, který už byl moc hezký, světlý, moderní. Zaměstnanci byli příjemní, rádi poradili s každým dotazem. K dispozici je společná kuchyň, která nebyla moc čistá, protože se tam střídalo hodně lidí. Čistota v kuchyni.

• Karina.Sh (10/5): Один з найкращих хостелів, де ми були - Нереально класний хостел. Ми жили в новому і гарному окремому номері, але там також були і спільні номери. В хостелі є все: сніданки за доп плату 2 Дол з людини на добу, пральна машинка за 1.5 Дол за прання, сушилки, місце для паркування авто, мото і вело транспорту, спільна кухня, на ресепшн продаються сім картки. В нашому номері був свій санвузол, кондиціонер, холодильник, чайник, навіть міні шампунь. Дуже корисний персонал, який допоможе у будь яких питаннях: від таксі по місту до візи в Афганістан. В пішій доступності є багато магазинів і закладів. Дуже якісний Wi-Fi! Цілодобовий ресепшн. Тільки те, що на четвертий поверх треба було йти сходами, але то не завжди погано!

The reception guy was very lazy in giving good answers to questions we had. Guy was like just read the wall and it has all the info there. Also, there is an extremely limited number of showers and toilets for the dorm. There was literally one toilet and shower for all the dorms. What a shame. I don’t recommend this property at all. Stay at Yellow Hostel, it’s slightly better.

• Adam (7/5): Great place to meet fellow travelers, especially those heading towards the Pamir Highway. - The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hostel is a real hub for backpackers — whether you’re doing the Pamir or just passing through. You can print out lists (10 TJS) and do laundry for 15 TJS per load, which is super convenient. That said, there are a few things to be aware of. The air conditioning in the dorm rooms doesn’t work very well — in July it was uncomfortably hot at night. Toilet paper isn’t restocked automatically; you have to ask for it daily. The water pressure in the shower is quite weak on cold settings and only decent at 38°C, which isn’t ideal when it’s 40°C outside. The towels provided are made from a strange fleece-like material that absorbs water from your skin rather than drying it — not the best. Despite the flaws, I still recommend this place. It’s affordable, social, and overall a good value for money.

Banheiro antigo e sem manutenção, com pia quebrada, tampa do vaso sanitário quebrada, ducha sem cortina sobre uma jacuzzi antiga e encardida, toalhas de banho de material sintético que não absorvem água.
