- Lindsay (10/5): Absolute heaven. Wish we could purchase the property and call it home forever! - Absolute heaven. PERFECT location walking distance to everything in downtown/Old Town Chania. Gorgeous views from the rooms and roof deck. The sunsets and views over the water are just dreamy. Lovely and easy arrival with delicious appetizers and wine waiting for us when we arrived. Very comfortable beds. Warm showers. Absolutely beautiful place to call home. We had to transport our luggage up a rather large hill due to the narrow streets of Old Town and the taxi being unwilling to go any further. When we spoke with our host, they said this shouldn't have happened and the taxi should have gone closer, so next time, we would be sure to arrange airport transfer through Dorothy's Dream team so they can discuss with the taxi driver exactly where to drop off. It was fine for us but would be difficult for older or immobile travelers. Large set of stairs to enter the property, again fine for us but those with disabilities should be aware.
